Correct usage.

Correct pronunciation.

Incorrect usage/pronunciation.

Many of you have probably seen this headline over at HotAir:

Marine shot three times in street robbery survives… by plugging bullet holes with his fingers

There are a number of lessons to be drawn from this story. For example…

He said he used his battlefield training from Afghanistan and Iraq to stem blood from chest wounds by shoving his finger into the gaping wound.

Lesson: If you have a gaping wound, you can use your fingers to quickly stanch the bleeding. Who knew? (Marines, apparently.)

He said the confrontation with the robbers took place after his girlfriend Tanta Siaz advertised a gold chain for sale on Craigslist.

Lesson: Don’t use Craigslist. Ever. Craig Newmark’s a dirty communist hippy. And what other fruit are borne of dirty, communist hippy ideas besides filth, poverty, stupidity, abhorrent crime, and abject depravity? Answer: None.

“I go to Iraq and Afghanistan multiple times, and I haven’t been shot or blown up, and I’m here at home in Florida…riding in an ambulance with a bunch of gunshot wounds.”

Lesson: Guns don’t kill people. Blacks kill people.

Last lesson: The man on top? Darling of conservatives. The scum on the bottom? Darlings of liberals.

Well, the statute would not — would not necessarily cover that. We’re talking about crimes that have a historic basis. Groups who have been targeted for violence as a result of the color of their skin, their sexual orientation, that is what this statute tends — is designed to cover. We don’t have the indication that the attack was motivated by a person’s desire to strike at somebody who was in one of these protected groups. That would not be covered by the statute.

Has the ACLU jumped on this travesty yet? I’m sure they’ll file frivolous a lawsuit against this brave patriot, who took matters into his own hand, and hold up those leeches as victims!

Going into the hood with a gold chain and no reinforcements is bad strategy. This brave Marine not only risked his life, but risked the lives of his children waiting in the car. I also assume he was unarmed…another potentially fatal mistake. Look, I truly feel for this guy. I wish he was carrying a weapon and sent these two apes to hell where they belong. Unfortunately, all we can wish for is a speedy recovery on his part. Meanwhile, the taxpayers have to deal with these two pieces of sh*t.

- LS,You do remember that this is America.We have a right to go anywhere in this country without a bunch of thugs trying to take what is ours.If blacks or mexicans came into our neighborhood and we was to rob them they would call out the national guards to stop us racist white folks.I am so sick of this double standard.

Anyone who has lived amongst inner city savages knows the irony that our US military circles the globe, on the tax payer’s dime, while meanwhile it is unsafe in parts of home to walk with anything of value on your person, including even running shoes. It is also pathetically sad that our AG and president are immune, or just can’t smell what stinks.

When you were a little black child was it your dream to be in a gang and shoot white people for trinkets and/or each other for street reputation?

Bring the troops home and have them patrol U.S. city streets, with shoot to kill orders for flash mob looting and other typical “fun” activities. After all, the U.S. has THREE cities among the Top Ten Most dangerous cities in the WORLD- Detroit, St. Louis and New Orleans. Beirut is a Sunday walk in the park (circa 1950) compared to inner city neighborhoods of ANY American city today. As the economy continues to tank, and welfare benefits begin to take a real hit, the natives will become increasingly more dangerous and violent.
