WRONG IN MANY WAYS! RUNNING BUSINESSES EFFICIENTLY NOT ONE OF THEM!
Things have gotten pretty pathetic for Republican presidential candidates when they must resort to using ridiculous Democrat talking points to halt Mitt Romney! The Republican presidential wannabes are busy attacking Mitt Romney’s record running Bain because he, get this, eliminated unnecessary jobs in companies Bain bought! Does anyone miss the irony that the supposed “more conservative” GOP candidates like Newt Gingrich have been leading the attacks against Romney, who is widely viewed as the Republican’s most moderate candidate, for exercising pure free enterprise to maximize profits? AWD is not a Romney fan but perhaps this is the best view, to date, of the difference between lifetime politicians like Gingrich and Santorum, and one who has actually created wealth in the private sector!
Does anyone believe a capitalist businessman would buy a company and fire the key components to making the enterprise successful? Of course not! Then why do GOP candidates like Gingrich, Huntsman, Santorum and Perry parrot socialist BS talking points in trying to pry support away from Romney? Does Newt really believe Romney should have bought a failing company and held on to the overpaid Vice President of Powerpoint or some non revenue-generating Human Resources assistant? Hell no, that is why those companies were failing to begin with! Prudent businessmen jettison unneeded expenses while keeping core components of the company to earn profits. This is a stupid and losing argument from Gingrich and the others. In short, they sound like butter-hair Debbie Sergeant Shultz Wasserman!
Don’t we want to elect a president who will eliminate the legions of unneeded federal jobs that create not one cent of wealth? Don’t prudent Americans want a president who will run the federal government like he would his own company? It’s the belief system of lifetime politicians like Gingrich that have allowed our federal government to grow to unsustainable levels!
“Those of us who believe in free markets and those of us who believe that, in fact, the whole goal of investment is entrepreneurship and job creation, would find it pretty hard to justify rich people figuring out clever, legal ways to loot out a company.”
Well said, Obama! Gingrich’s statement shows what a buffoon he is! Let me teach you something, Mr. Speaker. The whole goal of investment is to MAKE MONEY! Not to create jobs. Job creation is a subset of the investor’s original interest in making money!
Following in the socialist stupidity, Texas Governor Rick Perry said it was an “insult” for Romney to campaign in the southern state after Bain’s work caused the downsizing of companies there. No, Rick, an “insult” is a presidential candidate too stupid to remember his own economic plan! The other insult is to the people of Texas who have seen their state government double in size on Perry’s watch!
And lastly, smarmy little Democrat Jon Huntsman said:
“It’s become abundantly clear over the last couple of days what differentiates Governor Romney and me. I will always put my country first. It seems that Governor Romney believes in putting politics first. Governor Romney enjoys firing people; I enjoy creating jobs.”
Wrong, pencil neck! Your old man created jobs at Huntsman Chemical. If he didn’t, you’d at best be the Vice President of Powerpoint at some bloated, dying company! Now go back to China and bring me some moo shoo pork!
As I said, AWD is not a Romney fan. I believe he doesn’t have the cojones to do what is necessary to destroy the federal behemoth. I also think he believes government is the answer. But now I KNOW that the other GOP candidates are economically batsh*t crazy! Or, more accurately, a bunch of wussypants RINOs masquerading as conservatives when none of them, from a private market wealth creating standpoint, could piss and hit the ground!
Newt is so deeply tied to the Washington power structure it makes me sick! The only thing he has ever done in the private sector is sell books he didn’t write but takes credit for. I am utterly AMAZED with all the Tea Party leaders across America who have fallen for the BS Newt shovels out! Look at his record! Remember his record? Santorum has a history of big-spending and most likely couldn’t adequately perform as the Intern of Powerpoint in the private sector. Perry? Hell, I don’t even need to come up with anything on him. He’s pitiful enough on his own. Huntsman is an insult to anyone who wasn’t born with a silver PowerPoint in his mouth! These are all HACKS! They put themselves above conservative principles, even using Democrat talking points, trying to weasel their way into the GOP nomination!
I want a President and Congress who have the conservative convictions to take a chain saw to Washington! Department of Education? BZZZZZZZ! Department of Energy? BZZZZZZ! Agriculture? BZZZZZZ! EPA? I’d use bombs on that thing! All of these worthless behemoths are populated with useless leeches on the American taxpayer! Does anyone in the Republican Party understand LIMITED GOVERNMENT? We know the DemonRats certainly don’t!
Once again, we see clearly that America is governed by two parties….the party of evil and the party of stupid! And we are all soooo screwed!

Every word here my sentiments exactly!
I truly an at the breaking point in many ways…disgusted with much.
I’m leaving it at that for now..but will be saying more in the next few days here and there with examples etc.
What I’ve seen from Santorum, Perry and mostly the biggest whiner of all makes me sick in what they’re doing to Romney for being a capitalist….they’re making huge mistakes.
Part of the reason I’m leaning towards Romney or Paul now…either one…but that’s just me.
Nevertheless…I’m very disgusted with what I’ve heard from many in the TP when it comes to Newt the last few weeks….very.
While I’m not crazy about Romney, he has shown that he is not afraid to take the offensive—make NO mistake that Obama will ratchet up the attacks to a level we have never seen…
I want a candidate who will now whine that the attacks are ‘unfair’ and be the victim—but one who will attack and focus on Obama’s failures.
While Romney is not my ideal candidate and he is a RINO, he will be light years ahead of Obama.
If we can change the dynamics of the Senate and retain the House, hopefully they can keep Romney ‘in check’.
I do not believe the rest of the field is able to win…right or wrong, Santorum won’t appeal to the middle…
Newt is a whiner and in the end, cannot garner the support of the middle…look at his numbers.
Paul…sorry bigtimer, he’s got some good ideas, but, he’s so far out there, Obama wouldn’t have to campaign to get re-elected.
Hey there…don’t get me wrong, I agree with you friend.
Last election after Fred Thompson who I rooted for way before he even thought of running for Prez was still in the Senate and ran such a dismal campaign I wanted Romney to win after that..so I’m still with him now at this stage of the game…the Huckabee/McRINO Team did a job on him last time around, now we have Newtie-pooh, Perry and Santorum all doing the same, it’s been sad to watch.
“if you can’t be with the one you love, honey, love the one you’re with, love the one you’re with, love the one you’re with, love the one you’re with.”
I am not crazy about Romney, but I do not perceive him to be the RINO that s___th__d McCain is and I do believe some of the things Romney supports are good for the country.
I will love him to death if he is the last man standing and at this point, I believe him to be the best of a so so lot.
“”Then why do GOP candidates like Gingrich, Huntsman, Santorum and Perry parrot socialist BS talking points “”
When you get only 10% or less in two primaries your donors are walking away and telling you it’s over.
Desperation. Bachmann pulled out the gender card at the 11th hour and started attacking everyone (even mentor Ron Paul). Just shows the low life scum are close to being done and out and will say ANYTHING to stay in the race and keep getting that free money.
I predict it will be a two man show after South Carolina – Romney versus Paul.
I just can’t understand why we have so many brilliant, conservative folks left in this country, and we’re stuck with this pack of fools. RINO reach-across-the-aisle azzkissers.
I think bho is going to win again unless someone comes out of the woodwork soon. We are hosed..
This country has atleast 75 million people who are conservative and eligible to run for President and this is the best crowd of candidates we can produce? Its pathetic and we deserve what we get.
If Romney is the nominee I will vote for him to get rid of Obama, but he is an empty suit who talks like a capitalist but acts like a socialist. Most importantly he has no ability to relate to the average american in any way. He is afraid of interaction with people who dont have his wealth or social status. What kind of person is that?
Romney wont fix anything. He will just keep a bad situation as the status quo. Hardly makes you excited to vote and it makes me want crazy Ron Paul to win.
Judge Andrew Napolitano had James Williams on his Fox show talking about how Ron Paul came through for him – and gave him free medical service when James and his wife were in a bind. The video is good and well worth watching, around three minutes
Each of the “Republican’s” who used Leftist Anti-Capitalist talking points against Romney have just lost me. Are you listening, Perry and Gingrich. As for Santorum – just what I want, some idiot in the Government who thinks what goes on in my bedroom is any of his business. I guess now I’m for Romney.
To decry criticism of Romney’s leveraged buy outs as “leftist talking points” is either disingenuous or just plain ignorance. There is nothing “capitalist” about snatching a company by leveraging it to the point of unsustainability, milking it dry under the guise of “restructuring” and then dumping the remnants one step ahead of the bankruptcy filing. That is what we are talking about here. I don’t even have to know the details of Romney’s “private equity” experiences to know that that is not the “management experience” the country needs. Gingrich and Perry are correct to bring this up for discussion. Those of us who have lived through these buy outs know exactly what the truth is. Leftist talking points it ain’t.

Misterbill –
I agree with most of what you have said…but, the focus is to defeat Obama.
I will NOT, under ANY circumstance, vote for Barack H. Obama…and if Romney is the GOP nominee, which seems likely, I will back him.
Like you, I like Romney over the rest of the field.
I respect all the comments here…..

Ron Paul is the only candidate who would eliminate the department of the fatherland.
this is why we need Dr. Paul:
