ROMNEY HELPS GAL OUT…PROMPTLY ACCUSED OF RACISM!

If this story doesn’t irk you…then nothing will. I’ve had this saved since yesterday, didn’t have time to put it here…so I’m going to today because it’s mind-bending infuriating with what the Leftist-Loons do, they are in real fear of losing any black voting power on their side of the aisle, simple as that!

First off here’s Ruth Williams on CNN with Soledad O’Brien, who just can’t stand what this woman is saying.

Summary from Mediaite:

Ruth Williams, the woman Mitt Romney handed a wad of cash to at a campaign stop over the weekend, explained to Starting Point host Soledad O’Brien on Monday morning how the events played out, and how much the handful of money meant to her.

“He paid for my light bill,” Williams told O’Brien, saying that her daughter works a 15-hour per week job at K-Mart, and that’s the only source of income the family currently has. Williams added Romney’s manager’s husband gave her money, as well, for food.

O’Brien, noting that a lot of people are cynical about politics, asked Williams how she would counter accusations that this was, “a calculated political strategy,” by the Romney campaign, to give a poor woman money in front of reporters and newspeople at a media event.

“No it wasn’t,” Williams countered. “It was a divine intervention by the Holy Spirit. I listened to what God said. I’ve never known anything about [Romney], I’ve never done anything for him, I’ve never even spoken to him. You cannot buy a vote with 55 or 60 dollars…It kept me and my kids eating this weekend.”

Williams, who kept talking through several would-be O’Brien interjections, explained that she used to run a cleaning and landscaping service company, but her son’s medical needs — he fell into a coma and has had three brain aneurysms — forced her out of business. She told O’Brien that the family doesn’t even currently have a refrigerator.

“I’ll work, I’ll work. I will work. I will clean, I’ll work, as long as it’s honest. I think that’s what most people want. I don’t think people want handouts. I think you feel better when you work for it.”

So sure enough, the next day we have msDNC doing their usual race-baiting tactics that they use 24/7 on their O/Soros run pathetic network.

So here’s what Joy-Ann Reid, who writes for The Grio had to say on Alex Wagner’s hour show about this, along with a difference of opinion from Ari Melber:

Reid, who appeared on “Now with Alex Wagner” along with panelist Ari Melber of The Nation, stated:

As an African-American woman, it galls me. I don’t even like to watch it. I felt like it plays into every sort of patronizing stereotype of black people. Oh, here’s this little lady, let me give her 50 bucks. I mean, this is the guy who offered a bet of $10,000 on stage, you know, to another candidate, but, you know, here, let me lay off 50 bucks on this woman. And I think it plays into that conservative meme that you don’t need actual programs that the government puts in place to help people in need, we’ll just give them charity. The church will take care of them, I’ll give them 50 bucks.

Melber, on the other hand, argued that Romney was simply faced with the emotional decision of wanting to help someone in need.

Melber began, “When I worked for campaigns and candidates, you often have these events and people stand up and they don’t have policy questions, they raise their personal problems.”

“And so they talk about how they can’t pay this bill, or they went down to this government agency and had a problem, and, it’s a very difficult thing for candidates because you sort of say, well, if this is a case worker issue, you should talk to someone in my office or let’s send some letters to the agency. There’s that technocratic response. And then there’s the human, heartfelt response, which is, someone’s hurting and they need help.”

So let me get this straight, when Henrietta Hughes was whining about needing a house from Dear Leader, this was A-OKAY…and what presidential candidate Mitt Romney did with $55.00 isn’t…talk about blatant hypocrisy, this is it! Something very much wrong with this picture as far as I’m concerned when it comes to the msm, but that’s just me.

Whether you like Romney or not, this attempt at Divide & Conquer using the race-card issue is going to backfire on the insane left in my opinion…then again I could be wrong!

Add your thoughts…do you think this is total insanity anymore when it comes to the left and their tactics, are you sick and tired of it, do you think this will backfire on all of them come November, etc etc.

Do you expect anything different Bigtimer? These people that think this way are lost to any reason whatsoever,period! I learned long time ago to just don’t let them get the best of you. I know it’s hard,but we have to realize there are quite a few Americans who know what the score is!

I completely forgotten about that woman, whom I’ve always suspected was nothing more than a Democratic plant, to soften Obama’s image. But this obvious double standard is nothing knew.

Only liberals, in particular White liberals are equipped to simplify the lives of Blacks and Latino’s!

Any sincere conservative gesture aimed at minorities, will eventually backfire because liberals want to create a world where they have the final say in determining the fate of their
‘poor”, “helpless” and “disenfranchised” minority lemmings!

Not a fan of Romney, and this probably was a setup for the media. But the fact of the matter remains…He GAVE his money that he EARNED to someone who NEEDED it.
She seemed happy enough.

    I didn’t didn’t the chance to watch the videos myself, so maybe I should have kept my comments to myself.
    So my argument to the comment about how Romney could have gave her more…something to do with pointing out how the government gives thousands of dollars to Welfare and foodstamp receipients, and the government doesn’t even have any money.
    See where I’m going with this? Yes its fine and dandy to help people out when you can, but sometimes, its not your problem.

    I had open-heart surgery two weeks ago. The hospital called and told me to come in two days earlier than I expected so I didn’t have time to say sayonara. Two less days having to think about it, so it was a pretty good deal. I’ve been home for over a week now and feel much better, thank G-d. Especially after my appointment with the doctor today. It’s not too much fun being hooked up to various medical devices, which can really ruin a person’s day. Anyway, thank G-d it’s over.
    
    I also had a problem accessing this site last week. I thought it was due to some type of cyber warfare conducted by the usual suspects. Otherwise, these last three posts (yours, awd’s and red’s) really hit the nail on the head. I sometimes get very discouraged about the current state of affairs, but doing nothing is NOT an option.
    
    The Joint Chiefs of Staff is currently in Israel in order to convince them that the Aliens (Iranians) are really not so bad, and anyway, an A-Bomb is a lot less painless than four years in Auschwitz.
    
    Obama is more than just bad news, and HAS to be tossed out in November 2012- if not sooner. I’ll go with Romney if that’s what it takes to get the job done. Lincoln may have freed the slaves, but NOW the DemonRats want to turn the entire white population into slaves. Who will Emancipate us? Too bad Lee couldn’t have been victorious at Gettysburg.

      So glad you’re back on the mend and here with us, I just knew there was something not right when I posted something I knew you would be all over the other day…and asked others if they had seen you around or had a clue to what may have happened ~ so thankful you’re still here with us…your input is valuable to me.
      
      We all may not agree all the time about everything, but we’re all for the same outcome…get rid of the Dictator-in-Chief!

Thank God we have people like the AWD and Bigtimer to watch the Demonrat Propaganda Machine so we don’t have to. Just listening to the “tools” and “usefull idiots” makes me want to “hurl”.

Thanks to my AWD friends for your thoughts and prayers as I battle vertigo. I’m having to retrain or “brainwash” my vestibular system to ignore “false messages”. With a little help from steroids and the “power of positive thinking” I am getting better. I guess it’s good it happened now before OBAMACARE because like the “spunky” 90 year old woman who needed a pacemaker Dr. Hussein would have prescribed a pain pill to make me “loopy” (or worse).

  - “BIG”: Thanks so much. Vertigo comes and goes. It “waxes” and it “wanes”. It’s scary at times. It appears that inner ear infections in November damaged a vestibular nerve that feeds “false signals” to the brain. Eventually the brain compensates for this but it takes time. Still gonna get a CT scan to rule out a brain tumor. So keep those thoughts and prayers coming. Remember, I taught the AWD about conservatism in high school in 1978-1979. Fed him the answers in History and Poli Sci classes. By the time I left for UNC-Chapel Hill the “Dude” was spouting off words like “bloated bureaucracy” and “govement boondoogles” !!!

Inside the White House by Ronald Kessler and a couple of other books told the story of how Ronald Reagan used to give people in need $5,000 checks out of his pocket with no publicity. Those who wrote him got action. He actually read their letters – and acted on them. Yep, he was a lot more than just an actor. Of course, his detractors claimed he hated poor people, old people, minorities, etc. RR was one of the nicest guys and best politicians we have seen – very savvy and effective – hated by the left, of course! Good for Ronnie.

This is one lady who is not asking for a government handout but is asking for a job and is grateful for the help she got. This a lady who has worked for what she had and i hope that she is able to find work again for she deserves what she can get because she does want to earn her own way.That will happen when we get rid of Obama.
