STICK A FORK IN THE GOP ALSO-RANS! ROMNEY WILL BE THE NOMINEE

LIKE IT OR NOT...HERE'S YOUR NEXT PRESIDENT

Desperation has set in with the GOP hopefuls (hopeless) in trying to take Mitt Romney down. Ron Paul was right…the also rans should quit. Ron Paul included. The race is over. Paul, Newt and Santorum are all competing for the same votes while Romney has kept his focus on Obama. And he’s winning and leading in places he lost in 2008. Romney’s been doing this for a while and has a good organization around him. Plus he’s a bright guy. If you remember, he took over the Salt Lake City Olympics and turned it from a total disaster to a smashing success in a very short time frame. He might be a wussypants RINO but the guy is not dumb. And the more the other candidates go after Romney, the further they go back in the polls. Romney keeps his attacks on Hussein and stretches out his lead.

The only Repub who had a chance of catching Romney was Newt. He had his moment as the last real chance for Republicans to vote for anyone but Romney. But Newt just can’t do things right. He talks a great game but just does stupid things. The latest is spending a week criticizing Romney for buying bloated, unprofitable companies at Bain and trimming non-essential positions to return the company to profitability. Exactly the actions we need to take place in the bloated federal government. But Newt used the talking points of his good friends the DemonRats to kill off any chance he had. Just like he did when he called Paul Ryan’s budget “right wing social engineering.” Stupid!

Ron Paul has his core followers who follow their political Jerry Garcia in Deadhead-like cult fashion. I’m surprised tie-dyed painted buses don’t follow Ron Paul to and from his campaign appearances. These Paul fans, while certainly vocal and serious, do not realize that Ron Paul is the only Republican candidate that would lose to Barack Obama. The only way for the hapless Repubs to pull defeat from the jaws of victory is to nominate Ron Paul….which will NEVER happen. The greatest mistake Paul will ever make and will make him the most hated man in America…even more than Obama…will be to run as a third party candidate. His loyal followers will blindly vote for him, cursing the neo-cons in the Republican party and give Obama his much needed second term to totally destroy the United States.

Santorum is a big-government moderate posing as a conservative. Remember, this is the guy who endorsed Arlen Specter over Pat Toomey. Say no more. He’s a weak candidate and would have been gone long ago had Herman Cain kept his Georgia blacksnake in his pants.

Rick Perry, bless his heart, is plainly retarded. It hurt to watch him bumble his way through debates. He’s taken credit for everything good in Texas on his watch without taking responsibility for the doubling of the Texas state government while he was the Governor. Here’s the simple truth…Texas would have done no worse if we had a mannequin sitting behind the Governor’s desk. Oh, that’s right! We did have a mannequin sitting behind the Governor’s desk.

It’s done! Romney will win South Carolina. Romney is the guy. AWD has said that I’d vote for a house plant, ham sandwich, anything or anyone over Barack Obama. I’d even vote for Ron Paul even though his foreign policy is worse than Obama’s! So you better start getting ready to love Mitt. Because, as despicable as Mitt is, he’s less despicable than Obama. At least we wouldn’t have to wonder what side Romney’s on. And, frankly, I don’t think Romney would do any worse than any of the other pitiful Republican candidates.

I believe AWD predicted a Romney win a few weeks ago but that’s no big deal. He has the backing of the wussypants Republican machine and has a good campaign organization. He’s a good debater and talks a good talk. I have not been excited about anyone in the GOP field this year. I’ve worked on getting rid of a local RINO congressman instead. We need to move Boehner and McConnell out of power in 2013 to start righting this sinking ship. Romney will go along with whatever the Republican controlled Congress will do.

I know, I know…it hurts! It’s amazing that America has so few quality candidates for President. But Mitt Romney will be the next President of the United States. And you better be prepared to vote for the RINO sumbitch!

  1. Romney is the next Bob Dole. A nice guy, who means well, but will lose in a landslide to Obama.

I truly believe the only one who will and can defeat Obama is Ron Paul.

The Iowa and New Hampshire delegates will not even be fully elected until March, so nothing is over except the first two beauty contests.

New Hampshire was in effect, Romney’s home state and he polled a whopping 39%. That’s a poor result when you really think about it. It’s like Al Gore losing his home state of Tennessee back in 2000. His own folks didn’t like him!

South Carolina, once again, will be very close. Romney is polling a huge 23% according to yesterday’s Insider Advantage poll. There are 4 guys within 10 points, but again the only one with the money and organization is Ron Paul.

South Carolina is a long shot, but Paul
    could pull an upset.

I don’t think it’s over. I think it’s only begun. This will be a long bruising fight and we may not have a nominee until August at the Convention. Remember this is the first year that all delegates are proportional in most states, and not winner-take-all. Huge change from 2008. This helps Ron Paul immensely.

  2. I think Romney is Obama-lite: a big government RINO. I still fear victory by hussein zero if Romney is the GOP nominee. Another fear of mine is if The Donald, Ron Paul, or some other 3rd party candidate, splits the vote, handing zero an easy victory. Better to vote for a less than ideal candidate running against obama than to go completely over the cliff by voting for obama. The Big Dance is on November 6 and if Romney is the one who brings us, he’s the one I’ll dance with. I keep thinking back about how Reagan in 1980 wasn’t very popular at this point in the nomination process either, so maybe there will be parallels between 2012 and 1980 that will lead to pleasant and unexpected surprises.

    • I must respectfully disagree with you on this: It is NOT better to vote for a less than ideal candidate, when the less than ideal candidate is more of the same, who has been forced on us by those who have an interest in keeping their noses firmly entrenched in the troth that is our tax money. I say, better to vote for Ron Paul, or for that matter a celery stalk, and if that hands the election to the person we have in place now, then bring on the revolution. Show us the teeth of the wolf in front of us, and let’s get started taking the country back from those who would destroy us.

  3. I just see a “Ken Doll” when I look at Mitt Romney. He did give a good victory speech Tuesday night but all to often his plasticness comes through when he speaks.

My “dislike” or should I say HATRED for Obongo is so visceral that Romney will be a pleasure to vote for in November.

We need to take the Senate & the House and with complete control of the oval office there may be a chance to save the country.

This is it – this is the only chance we have…Lets get rid of Obongo, Getting rid of Obongo is priority and our only chance to save the country.

I don’t care what anybody says…Romney may be our only chance we have left. He does have a good political organization underneath him. This may be our only chance to get rid of the Marxist thats defiling our White House.

    • I agree with Bluto – lesser of evils is less evil. I was hoping for Herman or Ron Paul. I have an autographed picture of Ron. Allen West sounded good on Laura Ingraham’s show yesterday. Allen West and Herman Cain were both born in Atlanta. Even plasticman Mitt would be an improvement. O must go. Look for the press to start rolling out anti-Mormon stories while denying they are doing so. Of course, primaries are where you have choices and many primaries get a 15 percent turnout or so. Twenty percent is considered good. Isn’t that pathetic? John McLaughlin had it right – LIVs (low information voters) are a big problem. Maybe that’s our biggest problem. Look where LIVs have gotten us. There’s a lot of media manipulation going on – the other side tries to tell us what plays (and players) to run. Black Texan James Williams says Ron Paul came through for him – didn’t charge him either. Check the video – very touching.

      • the anti mormon stories have already started. Look how every single article mentions that “some people, especially Christians, have a problem with” or a variation of the theme. By pointing out the difference in his faith, and emphasizing the problems some may have, they are doing the job better than if they just came out and said “Mormons eat puppies”, while claiming not to do so.

  5. When are we gonna stop running these RINO Republicans? Why even vote Republican if there’s practically no difference between them and the Democrat?

If Romney wins, there will be conservatives who vote for him. But a lot of conservatives will stick it to the Republican Party and vote against him to teach them a lesson. I will, too.

Small-government Constitutionalist Republicans who like Ron Paul aren’t gonna sit around for another 4 years pretending to have had a conservative nominee and possibly president.

If he wins, I’m throwing my hands up and proclaiming the party lost, and am switching my affiliation to Libertarian. And I know lots of Republicans who will join me.

  6. AWD while I’ve got your back at the FEMA camp I have to say I think you’ve missed the point on this one. While mainline conservatives in general seem to be disappointed with the Republican field, Romney is not widely accepted by conservatives and even if he wins the nomination enough of them will stay home for Obummer to win. This was evidenced by the fact that only 1 in 5 registered Republicans in Iowa even bothered to show up to the caucus.
While Paul might not be the favorite of the majority of Republicans (those whose blogs aren’t being spied on by the fatherland or whose genitals have not yet been groped by TSA thugs) Paul has far greater cross-over appeal and is in fact the only candidate with a chance of winning.

  7. AWD, as I’ve said all along, ‘they’ are going to shove Mittens so far up our arses, only his feet will see the light of day. What really grinds my gears, is this primary ain’t even over yet! The primary in Louisiana isn’t until next month and I want a full menu to choose from, not some media’s idea of whom I should choose. There’s still a good 48 states to go! Unfortunately, Mittens is the chosen one. It doesn’t matter if Romney wins or loses. The conservatives lose either way. Romney is nothing more that a McCain wannabe and the Republican Party is getting ready to screw up yet another election…watch and see! Meanwhile, I’m going hunting as far back in the swamp as possible to get away from all this crap. Honey, where did you put the AK-47?

  10. General–

What is the incentive to vote for a Republican if you are one of the 47% who do not pay taxes???

How many of the 47% do you think will turn off American Idol and listen to the issues of our economy??

How many people–of all–do you think understand most of the issues versus getting hot on a candidate over one issue??

Name one candidate who is not a RINO.

Name one person in office who is not a RINO, that should be running for office.

If there are 6 key issues, how many does a candidate have to support to get you to vote for hm/her?

Lastly, which of the key issues present the greatest threat to America?

    Which candidate addresses them??

Which does not and leaves America most vulnerable to either Obama or Iran??

Even one of the greatest–to me– Ron Reagan did things I did not like, but overall, I felt he did a great job.

So, per usual, conservatives are faced with choosing the lest worse instead of the best–but–any of them will do better then the clown in charge right now.

In light of that, we, conservatives must get behind the winner of the GOP campaign, talk him up, point out the issues and get independents to light up and get behind the winner.

    Get enthusiastic.

PS I know you all know this, but I feel I have to remind myself, often, that the focus is to defeat Obama, not to beat the tar out of each other.

  11. This type of comment should be left for when the issue is decided. Putting it forth while the primary season is still just starting is simply a quitters attitude. Calling Newt a conservative is like calling a Dachshund a German Shepherd.
Is this what conservatives have come to?
Are we expected to simply provide a cushion of support for whoever the party puts in front of us that will support the continuous theft of our freedoms in the name of the war on terror? Why should we even bother voting if the guy with the most money from the bankers is always going to be the winner whether Republican or Democrat? Should we simply take George Carlins advice and go home and masturbate so we at least have something to show for election day results?
Your article is critical of Ron Paul supporters equating us with Grateful Dead hippies and you surely know that to be false. Why do so many people prefer a tyrant from one party over another while admitting they are both tyrants? Is Romneys whip going to be any softer, are his impositions on our civil liberties going to be any less?
Like all of us I have nothing to gain from voting for Ron Paul other than finally voting for an honest conservative politician and maybe I’m deceived by the fact that Conservative values are obsolete but I have enough faith to really give them a try do you have enough character to vote for the guy closest to your standards or are you going to be like a frightened child and run beneath the apron that your masters tell you can win?

The primaries are supposed to be where you throw your vote towards who you would like to see advance into presidential nomination. So, we should pick someone we mostly disagree with because he might have a better chance of winning? I’m sorry, but I happen to disagree with that. Thats what got us obammer to begin with. Thats what got us the last few presidents.

Yes– I don’t want to do so, but failing to do so will absolutely guarantee a failure to elect a conservative, at least in name, president. I hate it, but the purpose is to displace Obama. All of us here are a tiny, tiny fraction of the independent/republican voters. If we watch and see who they will vote for, we will have to hold our noses and go along or we get Obama agagin. A second term will, to him, be a mandate for, more defense reduction, blocking of energy efforts, more entitlement programs that will absolutely bust us and amnesty for illegals.

Also , further attacks on the Second Amendment, more loss of liberty via DHS. Hell, I could go on for a long time here. If that person that the majority of conservatives wants is Paul or whoever, I will vote for him. In the meantime, I will continue to observe to see which way our voters are going and then make my choice.

PS How do I know that some of you newbies aren’t shills for the DNC and are pumping up various GOP candidates because you think Obama can beat them??

Like any human being, he could fall, but if his past is any indication, if Romney becomes president the nation will be very richly blessed.
