I kind of liked the old America! Where freedom of speech and the press existed! That was before George Bush’s Frankenstein’s monster invention called the Department of Homeland Security! Seems like more and more, DHS is creeping into our lives and “monitoring” the freedoms we have enjoyed as Americans as outlined in the Constitution! It’s OK, just have some Victory Coffee, proles!
According to the website RT:
Under the National Operations Center (NOC)’s Media Monitoring Initiative that came out of DHS headquarters in November, Washington has the written permission to retain data on users of social media and online networking platforms.
Specifically, the DHS announced the NCO and its Office of Operations Coordination and Planning (OPS) can collect personal information from news anchors, journalists, reporters or anyone who may use “traditional and/or social media in real time to keep their audience situationally aware and informed.”
Vee know who you are and vee know what you are saying! Notice that our freedoms are being consistently usurped under the banner of “national security?” And isn’t it ironic that last week Hussein Hopenchange…ummm….the greatest president in the history of America, Barack Hussein Obama…signed into law a bill that gives the government the right to imprison indefinitely Americans ‘suspected’ of activities dangerous to the country. AWD has been hesitant on putting on my tin foil hat but those FEMA prison camps seem a little closer each passing day!
We obviously have a government that views Americans who disagree with Washington’s current path as dangerous enemies. We are seeing Homeland Security agents and TSA now questioning Americans on trains and elsewhere. Where is that right found in the Constitution? It seems that Janet Reno…ummm….the most beautiful woman in America…is lockstep with the greatest president in America’s history in controlling or intimidating the loyal opposition of the mainstream propaganda media. My guess is Homeland Security doesn’t spend too much time monitoring Rachel Maddow or any of the other communist dudes at MSNBC!
So is AWD a blogger who keeps his audience aware and informed? Who decides? Mostly, the Big Sexy writes opinions. I also write about what a big unit I have. Is that informative? No, it’s fact! And if having a big man thing is a crime, then lock my ass up in the first degree! And if making fun of libtards is wrong….I don’t want to be right!
I recently told a friend who knows the Big Sexy’s true identity that I give it a 40% chance AWD will end up in Gitmo once Hussein sends all the terrorists back to terrorize again. Of course, they’re not enemies to America! It’s the hardworking taxpayer exercising their first amendment right to free speech that is the real enemy. Those keyboard clinging extremists who believe in limited government and individual rights! Just ask any Democrat!
I never thought I’d see the day when a La Raza leader was named as the White House Domestic Policy Director! Or when illegal aliens were given more concern by the President of the United States than American citizens. Or when Taliban leaders held in Guantanamo were released to return to Afghanistan. Or the government would seize control of the financial markets. Or Homeland Security would monitor Americans! Or the government would give itself the right to imprison Americans suspected of malfeasance! This is insanity!!! No, it’s worse! This is the Soviet Union!
Will journalists and bloggers start disappearing? Will blogs be arbitrarily shut down because they ridiculed a ridiculous politician? Because bloggers fight in our own ways the creeping fascism of the federal government? It’s interesting. AWD’s blog has been moved to a newer server over the past few days and the service has been spotty as the propeller heads get things dialed in. I have received many emails from concerned dudes and dudettes wondering if the blog had been shut down by the government! Amazing, but that is what people automatically assume these days! And with reason!
Ronald Reagan was right when he said that freedom could be lost in a generation. We are on the slippery slope to totalitarianism. Think the Republicans in Washington care? Guess again! AWD was on a conference call last week with a Chief of Staff of a Republican Senator discussing the National Defense Authorization Act (that gives the President the right to imprison and hold Americans indefinitely if suspected of being involved in terrorist activities). The Senator’s aide said that Senators would be “very concerned” if they found that Americans were being held on what results to be trumped up charges. Well, that makes me feel soooooo much better! I can be whisked away in a black van, taken to who knows where and held indefinitely and wussypants Republican Senators who voted for this monstrous bill will be “very concerned?” Yes, Ronald Reagan was exactly right!
So, wake up, Proles! It’s 1984! Big Sis Napolitano is watching! Time for your Victory Gin! And, guess what? It’s also time for American Idol!!!! And if you don’t hear from AWD again, I’ll most likely be in imprisoned in the local FEMA re-education camp. I’ll be the guy with the big unit!

This article is exactly why Ron Paul is gaining in the Presidential polls. I think Ron has a few ideas that the congress is going to have to temper but on civil liberties and protecting my right to free speech he is the only one I trust. Let’s assume for the moment that we live in a rich country with everything we could want except for freedom. If even this occurred I would still revolt for freedom is more valuble than pearls.

One thing for sure, Barack Obama, if re-elected, will feel vindicated to accelerate his agenda….which is ‘rubber stamped’ by a Republican majority House.
While we are focused on the Presidential election—we cannot afford to lose focus of those in congress who are coming up for re-election…
The First and Second Amendment are at severe risk under Obama–we need to be proactive to insure our liberties..

To all of you who said Alex Jones and Jesse Ventura were conspiracy nuts I can only suggest you tune in to infowars.com. If you still think the people running our government love you I would suggest that you avoid the ‘showers’ once you move into the FEMA camps. If you are so out of touch that you don’t get that reference you might read some accounts from survivors of the holocaust.

Patthemick is spot on. Of all the republican candidates, who even mentions personal freedom other than Ron Paul? Who is on record as saying that reducing the size of federal agencies would be an integral part of their plan to reign in the gov’t? None of them beside Dr. Paul. A few may pay a little lip service toward the idea but its not gonna happen under anyone else. The issue of govt intrusion and curtailing of individual liberty is much bigger than the MSM will report. People are too busy struggling to make ends meet to tolerate being harrassed trying to go about their own business. The same with the knock against Pauls foreign policy ideas, specificly his statements on dealing with Iran. It sure seems that a hell of a lot of folks are tired of war, or perhaps more properly stated, the costs of financing wars. The American people as a whole arent stupid. Never have been. But in the past, govt, in co-operation with Big Media, has been able to limit access to information about the true costs of war, specificly the billions of dollars in profits handed over to private corporations that are awarded contracts to either deal with the aftermath or supply war materials. Personally, I’m no pacifist. If a country decides to attack us then that country should be dealt with harshly but looking back (as many folks are doing) was the 2nd Iraq War needed? Turns out it really wasnt. How about the ongoing WAR ON TERROR in Afghanistan? Whats the goal that is to be acheived that will be the end of that war? I think an awful lot of folks realize there isnt one. Not as long as the govt slop trough remains open for a few select corporations to continue to reap huge profits from the continued fighting there. There’s a lot of us out here who are thinking enough is enough. Time to concentrate on righting the economy and lessening the burden on working Americans and the future generations who will still be paying for all this. Time to restore the freedoms gauranteed us by the Constitution and Bill of Rights. Time to end intrusive false security measures at airports and apparantly now, bus and train terminals. VIPER Teams? Really? they couldnt even come up with at least a nicer sounding name? Guess when they became all powerful any thoughts of trying to sugar coat their Stasi like tactics went out the window. We are headed down a road that will take generations ( if ever) to recover from if we dont stop and turn this country around now. So yeah, maybe Ron Paul doesnt seem to follow the usual playbook but look where thats gotten us at this point. Could it be that its time to try something a little different? I think so.

As much as I hate to say it Romney is going to be the one we are left to vote for, Time for plan B to take effect, We will only restore our country from the bottom up (since the president is going to be a dud) so it is important that our congress critters and those of the senate are payed a lot of attention to, from the dog catcher to the county commission vote for the conservative. They took our country a little at a time and we can only redeem it a little at a time.

I’ve been saving this little tale for the right time. It has arrived.
This past year I began a project which involves a shit load of miles on the interstate system.
My vehicle is registered in Utah, I’m clean cut, 51 years old, and my vehicle is fairly new and in perfect condition. Despite these facts, and the fact that I attempt to drive perfectly, I have been getting pulled over by state patrol frequently – all between Nebraska and Ohio. Each time it has been a different reason. License plate cover obscuring part of the U and T in Utah (10% maybe), following a semi too close (6 cars lengths at 55), 2 mph over limit, etc. You get the idea. Each time I’m pulled over, I get the full interrogation.
In Ohio I was pulled over. The excuse they used was that I was following a truck too close – not true. It’s not safe to do so, so I don’t. While checking my papers, another car arrives with a dog. They take it around my vehicle several times until it magically indicates contraband in the vehicle. I am frisked and placed in the back seat of the patrol car while they tear all my belongings apart. After an hour, they come over and open the door to read me my rights!
They then tell me they can’t find anything, but they are towing my vehicle to their garage to tear it apart further. Another hour goes by in the back seat of their car, before they come out and give me directions on how to get back on the interstate. Never been arrested. No tickets in 20 years, and I am always polite and courteous, yet this is how I was treated. It was a shake down, clear and simple. I had out of state plates, so they targeted me.
Three hours later, I am shaken and half the panels in my vehicle interior are hanging loose.
They were pissed right off that they spent all that time and effort and didn’t find anything. Frankly, I was surprised that they didn’t plant something, just to prove they were right!
There is nothing I associate more with freedom than the open road. These assholes have taken that away from me! I no longer feel that wonderful feeling I’ve always loved, of flying down the road – free.
It’s over folks.

It has always been that way. From 1980 to 1983 i lived in Louisiana and whenever i went to visit my parents back home in Missouri i would always get hassled by either a county, city or state police. It is nothing new.So the last thing we needed to do was give the government more power than they already had.The DHS should not had ever been created it is a dangerous thing for a Marxist, Islamist president like Obama to have to use against anybody that don’t agree with him .That is another agency that needs to be done away with.

I am definitely concerned about Ron Paul’s foreign policy positions. Yet when I come here for new information and I see the things that Nopes wrote and the story that Timbo tells us, I get even more nervous.
I am chewing on this–ann enemy is an enemy–I expect hostile actions from them. My government is not (supposed) to be my enemy.
I have confidence in America’s strength with external enemies. I have no confidence in our domestic enemies and it gets worse day by day.
Next, I believe I am, in a lot of ways, a free spirit. I believe that the death of my spirit is the death of me. So, what does it matter who takes my freedom from me if I am, (and I am), a law abiding patriot?
I should rather die fighting America’s foreign enemies than live without freedom due to the turncoat activities of traitors to America.
Here is a big problem–how many Americans, especially of our youth, are aware of the domestic dangers we face??
AWD, I would probably be beside you in the FEMA camp, that is, if my resolve fails me or my innate laziness causes me to let my guard down and I get arrested.
I hope I can keep the courage , but I have decided I would rather go down fighting, in any way a man of my age can, than to bend a knee to the treasonous, traitorous likes of Obama and Holder.
I pray that Americans wake up in this electoral cycle and open their eyes to the intentions of the Obama administration, (with support from many GOP’ers).
I could be all talk and no cojones, but time will be the determinant of that.
After almost 80 years as an American, it is almost impossible for me to believe that there is any person in our country that would support their own destruction, but, I do. I even see it in Facebook among some of my own relatives. Thank God, I see more of them who agree with us.
PS Don’t get arrested. Your next leadership position may be in the Home Guard or Militia that rises up to save America.
Al this can be avoided by electing any conservative, (RINO or not), who is not a subscriber to the NWO.

Every night I pray to God that there are enough people in this country that like me are crying out for help to the one that can help us restore our country, I think about the children that will come after us, I have a 6 yr old great niece that I love more than life itself, she is my sunshine, she is the one I would lay down my life for with no hesitation, I know you understand what I am saying, I do have confidence that the country is awakening and we will stop this insanity.

I am at the point where i don’t care who is running against Obama in Nov. i will vote for them over this POS president we got now.The more i see our rights taken away from us the more i am willing to risk the threat from foreign enemies to take care of the enemy within our own borders. What we need to do is push reset.

I have to say that kooky or not, Ron Paul seems to be the best choice for me. I want the government to butt out of my life. I don’t need them, and I don’t want them.
I think the time for imprisoning Americans is closer than most realize. If that happens, I wish the best for all who are stuck there. I will live free, or rot free. “They’ll never take me alive”

I sm with you guys who will live free or die. Already at the young age of 76,I am ready for anything I can do, and am ready to fight, run and fight again, or die trying, anyhow. i just hope that if it comes to that, I can inflict some pain on the enemy.

How can we be sure that Big Brother doesn’t have one of those little remote controled spy aircraft that is cloaked hovering over your home or head at any time of the day? How about the undercarriage GPS monitor that may be stuck on your vehicle?! Just think… the windows in your home are speakers to that cloaked eye n’ ear in the sky. The mechanical spy birds and flies are for the yard and home interior. Nano tech coming in bracelets and eye glasses for all, so we can tell all at all times to good old Big Brother.
Don’t close your eyes… that retinal scanner must continue along with the brain wave reader and the bio scanner too! You want to be able to buy, sell, trade and be a productive member of the new world order don’t you?
Think the above is tough? Google this: RQ-4A/B “Global Hawk” and “Euro Hawk”, the RQ-170…
