Quick: Let’s play a word-association game. I’ll say a word (or phrase, more often), and you shout out the first thing that comes to mind. Ready? Here we go…

By any chance, did “Gabby Giffords” or “the Gabby Giffords shooting” pop out anywhere there? As a reminder, here’s the profile of her attacker, Jared Lee Loughner.
Political duplicity: The art of saying one thing while communicating another. You get the reaction you want without being legally culpable for instigating it.
But, no—of course the MSM aren’t biased! They play it fair-and-square, right down the middle of the road! No way they’re pro-liberal/anti-conservative, pro-black/anti-white, pro-gay-agenda/anti-Judeo-Christian traditionalism, pro-Keynesian/anti-free markets, pro-Democrat/anti-Republican, pro-Communist/ anti-Capitalist propagandizers! NO WAY!!! BECAUSE I SAID SO!!! I AM NOT A SHEEP! I AM NOT A SHEEP! I AM NOT A SHEEP! …
Lesson 1 (to those not pretending to be asleep): Look not at the words; look at the results.
Lesson 2: If one of Farrakhan’s henchmen off Obama like one offed Malcom X, who do you think will get the blame…regardless, of course, of who is actually to blame?
Though these lessons may make one [justifiably] angry, consider the upside: Should “The Religion of Peace” strike the POTUS as speculated, when the MSM goes running, tongue-wagging, to insinuate conservatives in the mess, it will make it that much clearer to us patriots as to whom should be sharing a rafter with this nation’s other traitors.
Sic semper tyrannis
Damn straight.
Addendum:
I forgot to credit our very own Snake Oiler for the inspiration for this article, courtesy the link to the Farrakhan article about his intimations on assassinating the POTUS. Muchas gracias, Snake!

As I like to say, GA, “We’re all Southerners now”. Anyone who ain’t feeling now what the South felt back in the pre-War for Southern Independence days just ain’t paying attention!
Off topic, but I couldn’t resist (from Burning Platform):
An American tourist goes on a sex-tour in a South-East Asian country. He goes from one house of ill-repute to another while satisfying himself with countless women. Being carefree he makes no allowance for protection from his debauchery.
On his flight back to the USA he has a burning sensation in his groin area. Worried he goes to the bathroom to inspects himself and notices that his member and groin area is horribly discolored. Horrified he decides to go to a specialist for treatment. The doctor tells him he has a rare strain of an incurable Asian STD and that his member must be amputated immediately. Horrified our erstwhile tourist decides to get an opinion from a Chinese doctor down the corridor who might give him better news.
After a close inspection the Chinese doctor says in his thick accent, “Oh no, your thing not have to be amputated.”
“Thank God”, our American friend says.
Then the doctor rejoins, “Oh no, in two days it fall off!”.
Which pretty much sums up what happened to America: In the end, it didn’t pay to f**k with the Chinese.
Dude, Just noticed the new clothing line. Very nice. Will be picking up a few pieces shortly. Happy about the addition of shirts for my daughter! Question – who may I ask is the model for the girls tshirt?
Side note – “Stupid We Much” is hilarious! I’m not sure I’ve got the cajones to walk around in public wearing it, however!
Timbo, AWD himself looks forward to sporting around all that new Dudewear! I’ll be adding more stuff to my store in the next few days for dudes and fillies!
And yes, the Dude will proudly wear the tribute to Sharpton in mixed company!
Hey Redstater, just to get your synapses firing, do you see any parallels
with this new decision regarding artificial selection versus natural selection by President Obama.
Spot-on analogy there, Waspish! (And yes, pun intended.) I see AWD just posted on this so will read his…maybe he’s got this all covered.
On a related note, saw this posting on the AWD Facebook page this morning:
“Terry Keith
Isn’t It Ironic?
The food stamp program, part of the Department of Agriculture, is pleased to be distributing the greatest amount of food stamps ever.
Meanwhile, the Park Service, also part of the Department of Agriculture, asks us to “please do not feed the animals” because the animals may grow dependent and not learn to take care of themselves.”
Eyes Wide Open. Now you know what I mean when I say “it”has become surreal. AND, you are on the wrong side of that line, what in the world are you doing up there?
And what am I doing up here? Well, conspiring from within is perhaps one way to look at it.
Keep in mind: I am not an island up here. Example: At an OK meeting the other month, after much debate with a local representative who was going absolutely off on all levels of government, we all got into a discussion about how, since the Civil War War for Southern Independence, we have gone from “These United States” to “The United States”. I.e., with the Northern victory in that war, we took a decisive step away from the federated system originally intended and toward what we have today–an out-of-control federal Leviathan.
As the banter went back and forth about how bad the situation was and what there was to do about it, one guy–and, again, keep in mind these are all fellow NYCers–finally had enough and said, “Look–the bottom line is, when is the first shot going to be fired?” And everyone–everyone–smiled and nodded. And there was a moment of silence after that as we all tried to figure out whether we wanted to continue that line of conversation, not knowing if there might have been a mole amongst us.
In any event, my hope is buoyed by these types of encounters. If this is happening in Manhattan for the love of God, think about the rest of this giant state with far more purple and red districts. Then think about the rest of the country.
That’s two Red – the times they are a-changin’…for some people.
The Bradley Manning Support Network claims that, since June 2010, they have raised about $500,000 for Manning’s defense and that an additional $150,000 will be needed through the end of the court martial “to give Bradley every fighting chance both inside and outside the courtroom.”
It is deploying “Free Bradley Manning!” contingents at the G8 meeting in Chicago in May, where the Occupy movement is also planning civil disturbances, and “gay pride events nationwide in June,” when the actual court-martial might begin. The evidence in the case suggests that Manning leaked the information because he was angry over the Pentagon’s homosexual exclusion policy. This is why he has become a hero of the homosexual community, which wanted access to the military on the grounds that they were just as patriotic as everybody else.
The Bradley Manning Support Network is also planning “solidarity events” outside of Obama campaign offices “to challenge the president on his handling of Bradley’s case so far.” They think Obama has prejudiced the case by openly declaring that Manning broke the law. They hope his statement will be perceived as “undue command influence” on the trial and lead to the charges against Manning being reduced or dropped altogether.
Supporters of Manning will also be “out in force at the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Aug 27-30, and at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, Sept 3-6,” they say.
Dangit, Snake–after I got through this I forgot to credit you for the link (and inspiration) on the Farrakhan piece. Will put in an addendum now.
PS, great tidbit on the “patriotism” of gay military activists.
In a former job, I had a gay boss who didn’t take kindly to me suggesting that DADT should stay put. When explaining that the bottom line on military decision-making should be combat effectiveness, not politically-correct BS, he said, “But what about Pentagon desk jobs?” And this made it all clear to me. From my perspective, the greatest agitators for all this aren’t interested in fighting (IMHO), but in getting their grubby little, crystal-meth smoking, binge-drinking, let-the-good-times-roll, STD-infected hands on some fat, 9-to-5 government work, free education, lifetime bennies, etc.
Once again, it’s not about their sacrifice to the greater good. It’s about them being the self-indulgent, gimme-gimme-gimme, infantile, attention-starved manwhores that the lot of them are.
Red, the correct name is the “War of Northern Aggression”, not Civil War and not War of Southern Independence. If that war had not been fought them Atlanta would be the financial capital of this country and the US would be a very different place. We will never forget what was done to us. Stay strong in that abyss of inhumanity.
Dave, my inability to correctly name that war is a reflection of my historical ignorance. After years of libtard indoctrination, I essentially started at ground zero just a few years ago trying to relearn everything. Apologies in advance for the many mistakes like this I’ll not doubt be making in the future!!!
PS, speaking of which, I’ve had this on the to-read list for awhile now. Any recommendations of this or other good reading (keeping in mind I have next to no time to actually read anything, so shorter is always better)?
RedState,
I do believe there is some Rebel Blood that courses through your veins.
