MAYBE SHE'LL DRIVE NEKKID FOR VIEWERS!

Angry White Dude grew up in North Carolina. AWD’s grandfather was one of NASCAR’s first officials. He was the crew chief for one of the early NASCAR legends. My parents spent the first few years of their marriage attending Daytona when part of the race was run on the beach! Living in Charlotte until 2004, AWD followed NASCAR and always attended races in Charlotte, Bristol, Rockingham and Darlington. I knew who most of the drivers were, have met most of them, knew who their crew chiefs were, etc. I was a NASCAR fan and can remember long, friendly arguments with my compadres into the early hours whether Rusty or Ironhead (Earnhardt) was the better short track driver. I was a HUGE NASCAR fan. Was!

I haven’t watched a NASCAR race in years! Why? These days, watching a NASCAR race is like watching the grass grow. The points system and team racing made NASCAR dull and boring. Drivers race for championship points instead of driving to win. They haven’t raced to win in years. Drivers could “point” themselves into a championship without winning a race! AWD’s brother had the solution: Give 1 million points for winning a race. 20 points for second, 19 for third, etc. But NASCAR doesn’t want to race anymore. It wants to take its professional wrestling-like act on the road milking millions from bored fans in different cities who come to see a race but receive another snore-a-thon lap-burner with zero action.

Fox has the broadcasting rights for NASCAR. It has taken the ridiculous formula from their NFL show to NASCAR. Darrell Waltrip plays the Terry Bradshaw happy, stupid idiot character. What a shame to see a NASCAR hero Darrell humiliate himself in such a fashion. This year, Fox has brought in Darrell’s half-a-sissy brother, Michael, into the broadcast booth. Fox and NASCAR figured that maybe they can pick up that sizable homosexual stock car racing fan audience to prop up their sagging numbers with all the life-long fans they’ve run off!

The biggest thing that has killed NASCAR is the political correct direction of the sport since Bryan France took over. France salivates over attracting minority fans without realizing he is losing his most loyal fan segment….the white southern male. France created the “Drive For Diversity” program to find (create) minority drivers (i.e. anyone but white males) in 2004. It has been a total failure. Paul Kersey from SBPDL wrote an interesting piece on NASCAR that has been posted at VDare on the subject.

Watching the pre-race show has been nauseating. Musical guest was Lenny Kravitz. Lenny Kravitz! What song did he open up with? American Woman, originally recorded by the Guess Who. American Woman is an explicitly anti-American song played in front of the most pro-American group he’ll ever perform in front of! Lenny Kravitz appeals to the NASCAR fan as much as Hank Williams, Jr. would to the NBA! Worse than selecting Lenny Kravitz is the propping up of Indy Car driver and part time, half-nekkid, female driver Danica Patrick. Danica Patrick has never come close to winning a race and needs directions to back out of her driveway. But NASCAR is soooooo determined to make her a star. They’ve devoted about a third of pre-race coverage to interviews and puff-pieces with Danica. They’ve oddly left out the two cars she’s already destroyed this week She took an unforced error, big bite out of the wall at Daytona and will race today in a backup car. Believe me, NASCAR drivers who have made it to the big show on their driving skills do not want her on the track. She’s an accident going somewhere to happen. And she’ll take out a lot of cars because she is not qualified to be on the track. But this is what the poison of diversity does! It puts people in positions they otherwise have not earned based on the color of their skin or what isn’t between their legs.

NASCAR has tried to put black and female racers in the lineup before. Each has been a tremendous failure. In the 80′s it was black driver Willie T. Ribbs (I crap you negative) who rode around the track looking for a soft spot in the wall. There have been women drivers too. There was….ummm…ol what’s her name…

NASCAR began its suicide by thinking it could really be more than what it was. When Bryan France started taking races away from NASCAR short tracks in the South and awarding the race dates to big cookie-cutter boring tracks in California and Chicago, the downward spiral began. Too much money is not enough money for the France family. Oh sure, yankees and sprout-eaters in California will go to a NASCAR race once or twice for the novelty, but they will not follow it for long. NASCAR has alienated Southern fans like AWD who hasn’t watched a race in years and will NEVER come back.

NASCAR’s viewership is in decline because of everything I have explained. The drive to diversity is the head-on into the wall. As I write, I’m watching the Waltrip brothers singing stupid songs trying to be funny. I’m actually embarrassed for them. Maybe they can get Danica to take off her clothes like she does every Super Bowl for the Go Daddy commercials. Or a better idea! Maybe NASCAR can sponsor the Public Enemy Chevy and have Flavor Flav drive next year’s Daytona 500! Boo-yah, boooooy!

      • AWD…NASCAR died in the 60s when Bill France changed the rules to stop Richard Petty from winning everything. He banned the Hemi and that was Petty’s ride. Petty went to drag racing for the year.

  5. Shame. I never much followed NASCAR, but I had kind of a soft spot in my heart for it because the drivers seemed less full of themselves than other athletes. Sorry to hear it being destroyed.

I’ve had people puff up at me for calling them “athletes” before. The conditions inside the car and the coordination and reflexes and endurance required to race for hours on end make them more than deserving of the title “athlete” IMHO.

  7. Dude, you are right about NASCAR. I was never a big fan of it. The same thing has happened with Country music. Promoters and money makers have tried to ‘mainstream’ it, and have ruined them both.

Guys like this France idiot see the potential in bringing NASCAR to the masses, and they have to turn it into something other than what it was originally meant to be. I mean your typical granola crunching holier than thou liberal retard could not be interested in a sport that was invented by SOUTHERN WHITE MALES, unless you sissify it.

To me it is a usurpation of the first order. Not unlike the inner city NYC school, made up of mostly black students, that went on some kind of performance tour singing Irish music.

WTF does an inner city black kid know about being Irish? Not a fu*king thing!

These people are taking away everything that White Males hold dear. I could go on and on with the usurpation’s these types are getting away with. As for Danica, you can photoshop any image these days. I preferred the ‘Brazilian cut’ style bikini from back in the 80′s. Just think, ‘Miami Vice.’ :)

  8. We are in the grip of a lively, vibrant, diverse, happy, clappy tyranny. It’s time to get loud and openly hostile toward the traitors and cowards who ruin great things like NASCAR. The left has defined the terms of our national discussion for decades. It is past time to start ignoring everything they tell us we can and cannot say. NASCAR is gone. There’s something called that still, but it’s just like most major religious denominations, the schools, the government, political parties and the entertainment industry. The leftists’ Gramscian “March Through the Institutions” has swept through Western Civilization like a virulent plague. It’s all gone. Nothing is what it still claims to be. What that means is that there is nothing left to conserve. The leftist pathology is the new establishment. It must be completely dismantled, and then we start over.

  11. The AWD nails it again !! I grew up in North Carolina too and loved NASCAR. That was back in the days when the Fords,Plymouths and Pontiacs on the track actually looked like the cars at your local dealership. Lee Iacocca noted in the 1960′s that a Ford win on Sunday dramatically increased Ford dealers sales on Monday. My how times have changed. The “Car Of Tomorrow” is uglier than a bowling shoe. The “minority outreach” really sickens me. A black man named Wendell Scott was racing on the NASCAR circuit in the early 1960′s, and even won a few minor races.

  14. It’s sad. I was, for years, a true fan…except I did not memorize records and all that crap. But I never missed a race. Now, I turn it on, but then I leave it and go do something else, and forget to go watch..then I get there for the last five laps. Well, somtimes I do, anyhow. After watching countless green/white checker, and endless last lap crashes with idiots trying to get from the last place to next to last…I suspect this will be my last season even trying to watch.

Oh, you mean one more example Ad infinitum – Ad nauseum of the negrofication of New Africa, formally known as the United States of America? Got it. Right. Well then, we can first start by outlawing the Confederate Flag. I trust Bryan France, his brother and sister will add several darling Kenyapithecae to NASCAR’s board so as to represent at least 49%. However, I think she is being pushed on NASCAR for the purpose of marketing and to satisfy the PC police without winning anything… if she wasnt so nice to look at would she be here without having won anything? Heck, its not about her being a girl because Im inclined to question the sexual orientation of some of them fellas anyway. Lets not forget that many of them are NOT what you might call a good ole boys either…. Im just saying. I wish her well, but I dont think it will last long…..

If I didn’t know any better I’d think that Hollywood with all it’s pretty people are somehow involved with race teams by picking out matching race suits, trimming beards and color coordinating the accessories. My, my, my, don’t they look like nice clean teams? That nice young man selling laundry detergent is quite a handsome young hunk of man. So is that man selling Coke and look at those pretty cars.

Katherine Legge of Britain tested for Minardi in 2005, Giovanna Amati drove for Brabham in 1992 but failed to qualify fast enough to race in her two attempts, while Leila Lombardi raced 12 times for several different teams in the 1970s, scoring a career total of half a point.

That half point is the entire score of women in Formula 1.
