Good Afternoon friends…being the political-junkie nutcase that I am, I’ve been watching all kinds of shows since Santorum won all three states last night…watched his speech late last night too. So my question to you is, why does ‘The Trumpster‘ act so clueless about this…or is he just playing dumb because he isn’t a Happy Camper when it comes to the presidential candidate he endorsed not that long ago? Which would be Romney for those of you who don’t know.
When I watched CNN early this morning thought I’d share it with you and see what you thought about what Trump had to say when he was being interviewed by Ashley Banfield.
Here’s some of what he said:
“Rick Santorum was a sitting senator who in re-election lost by 19 points, to my knowledge the most in the history of this country for a sitting senator to lose by 19 points. It’s unheard of. Then he goes out and says oh ‘okay’ I just lost by the biggest margin in history and now I’m going to run for president. Tell me, how does that work? … That’s like me saying I just failed a test. Now I’m going to apply for admission to the Wharton School of Finance. Okay? He just failed a test…. And now he’s going to run for president. So, I don’t get Rick Santorum. I don’t get that whole thing.”
You can read more here if you don’t watch the interview.
Now onto the great speech Santorum made last night…here’s some of what he said if you didn’t catch the speech:
Tonight was not just a victory for us, but tonight was a victory for the voices of our party, conservatives and Tea Party people, who are out there every single day in the vineyards building the conservative movement in this country, building the base of the Republican Party, and building a voice for freedom in this land. Thank you.
(APPLAUSE)
There’s probably another person who maybe — maybe is listening to your cheers here tonight, also, and that might be at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. You better start listening to the voice of the people.
(APPLAUSE)
But then again, I wouldn’t be surprised if he isn’t listening. Why would you think he would be listening now? Has he ever listened to the voice of America before?
AUDIENCE: No!
SANTORUM: No, he — why? Because he thinks he knows better. He thinks he’s smarter than you. He thinks he’s someone who is a privileged person who should be able to rule over all of you. But we have a different message for him!”
You can read the whole transcript here. But really, if you don’t watch the speech, you don’t know what you’ve missed in my humble opinion.
We all know the long knives are going to be out for him now…Trump is one perfect example of that this morning as far as I’m concerned…but you can be sure there will many more!
Add your Two-Cents in friends….do you think Santorum will be able to keep the momentum going..or do you think the usual methods behind the scenes from the Big-Wig republican establishment will do him in and of course along with usual blathering from those on the left via the Boob-Tube 24/7? Or do you think Santorum is a hell of a fighter and will go all the way? After-all, we need someone that has fire in their belly…and so far, from what I’ve seen… Santorum has just that!
So Trump…Stick That in Your Pipe and Smoke It! Get over yourself…methinks you’re not quite as important as you think you are. Funny how the mainstream media uses you when it’s convenient for their leftist agenda…and of course being the non-stop Blow-Hard that you are, you can’t help yourself and oblige them. You fall right into their traps…willingly. As far as I’m concerned, he’s to egotistical to realize that…and the only one he really is hurting in the long run is himself…as they say: “There’s none so blind as those who will not see.”
That’s just my Two-Cents for now…add yours!
As I always say…Fire Away…Inquiring Minds want to know!

68 Responses to QUESTION OF THE DAY: SANTORUM WINS THE TRIFECTA!…SO WHY IS TRUMP SO STUMPED?
Trump is stumped because he got a bump in the rump for backing the wrong chump to pump for president. But Trump could dump the chump and make a jump, take a lump and still stump for Santorum. Of course, we all know who Trump wants to hump.
I don’t like Trump but he is a smart business guy. He got behind Romney bcuz Romney spent his money wisely in Florida knocking out his competition. Trump likes it if people are successful with their money. That’s what he’s about. If you spend a lot of money and end up at the bottom, then that’s a failure (in Trump’s business mind).
Now, as for Trump knocking Santorum, he is simply protecting and defending his investment (Romney). So of course he’s got to knock Santorum, he poses a threat now to Trump’s investment. He’s just doing what any smart competitive businessman would do.
As to Trump, he’s threatened to run third party if he sees someone he doesn’t like or could defeat Dear Leader thru his eyes…meaning Romney is the only one for him, plain and simple to my eyes.
His threats are getting old to me…I could care less what he does at this point of the game.
We all know we have a long way to go…and these wins are non-binding, so who knows what pressure will come on down the line behind the scenes if Romney doesn’t win enough delegates and Santorum adds on to his come convention time.
Az. and Michigan are going to be interesting…along with March Super Tuesday voters and various states.
Fun to be had yet to come.
Gotta run for a bit…catch up with many things to do…be back later.
It is going to be tough for Rick. Mr. Mittens and his rich elitists friends will make sure Mr. Mittens will have his claws out ready to scratch Rick’s eyes out.
The poofters will be out in full force especially behind the scene. Corndoggies hated him in Pennsylvania and now that he is national those corndogs will be be throwing all that cash [corndogs don't have kids] from across the fruited plain at any opponent of his even the cowardly Mr Mittens.
The MSM will go after Rick, but remember they will do the same to Mr. Mittens in the general election. Rick will fight back, Mr. Mittens will not. No claws against black militants – tail between his legs and endless apologies.
Muslim oil [petro dollars or US Dollars are passe] money will come after Rick. He knows who Allah is.
Let’s face it, Romney can’t win the general elaction. I don’t even think he’ll lift a a finger against Obamacare. He might even pick Marco Rubio who is not a natural born citizen thereby losing votes there too [my father was not natural born US, ergo ineligible]. Plus NOBODY likes him. We are not in the best position because if Romney attacks Santorum [he's attacking, not defending Christianity] and if he doesn’t go pedal to the metal against Obamacare [which he can't] he’ll be hated by the base so much, he might as well just pack up and go back to Massachusetts.
Posted about it below somewhere. He’s so sanctimoniously snarky and smarmy at the same time..then tries to come across as being fair and balanced…when he’s anything but that.
Santorum has his flaws, but then again most (conservative) politicians do. Very few conservative talking heads have stood behind him, right from the get go.
As for Donald trump, what a joke! I don’t see how any intelligent conservative can take this egomaniac seriously.
Trump is not the least bit concerned about backing the best candidate for the overall GOP presidential nominee.
His motives are centered primarily on monetary gain and nothing else!
Trump/Santorum/Gingrich/Romney…none of them are conservatives. All are big government liberals, eager to spend your money and send your children to war.
Did any of them serve in the military?
No. In fact Trump, Romney and Gingrich are draft dodgers. Santorum did not serve.
Did any of them ever have to actually cut spending? In their entire lives?
No and NO.
They are a joke and what passes for acceptability these days.
The only true conservative is Ron Paul, who served in the military, won’t start wars and knows how to cut a budget.
Wait a minute..you mean our enemies had nukes back then and the UN was supporting those who scream “allah akbar” before flying planes into buildings back then?? Hey…what about airpl..oh never mind. Wow..I gotta revise my history books. Not.
Welcome to the 21st Century battlefield Paulbots…BTW, if Reagan were alive today, our enemies would think twice before threatening and killing us. You can piss in a bottle but don’t come on here pissing all over the place.
Santorum’s wins are a fluke. The only reason he won these three elections is for the same reason he won Iowa. Warmongers and social conservatives were the only ones to show up in large enough numbers to make a difference as pretty much the rest of the Republican party chose to stay home. It’s pretty sad when you consider the level of apathy within the Republican party regulars and I can tell you this first hand as I witnessed it here in Iowa. Too many Republicans don’t value are liberties and too many Republicans are still looking to big government to solve all of our problems. Ron Paul offers adult solutions to adult problems. Said to say a lot of republican voters still want to pretend that government is our parent.
You have to consider the extremely low voter turnout. We’re talking maybe 10 or at most 20 percent of the registered voters in a given state. With the high degree of apathy among registered republicans and democrats the independents will choose our president this time or Obummer will win by default. Ron Paul is the only repub with enough crossover appeal to win in November.
Fluke or flake, Santorum has no chance of winning the nomination or the election.
Apathy or not…excitement helps, fire in the belly when one speaks helps…Santorum has that going for him.
Maybe on down the line more will be voting in the primaries…I don’t know. I’ve always found it sad more people don’t take the time to do that…let alone learn about individual candidates until right before the general election…and then many just follow whatever they think others are doing like the lemmings they are.
You know I like much of what Paul represents, does and says…it’s just he doesn’t have the fire in his belly and much of the time conveys what he means when it comes to foreign policy the wrong way…heck, Rand does much better at that. I think in the future…Rand is going to go along way! (thanks to his Dad, in many ways)
Yes, they were smokin’ dope and spammin’ good blogs such as these with Paul talking points that are the same as the left. I don’t think they get out in the sun very much.
Rick and Newt’s wins are indicative of a right of center nation and of the Republican base and their thirst for a conservative candidate.

Dirty Al,
I know exactly what you mean, and the few that I know personally say they will vote for him cause he’s gonna legalize drugs, I tell them that makes about as much sense as voting for o because of white guilt.
It is getting where you can’t tell the difference between the Obama bots and the Paul bots. They are both a bunch of screaming sycophants. Instead of making me want to support Ron Paul they show how nuts they really are. If they leave the tin foil hat at home and quit spewing the Alex Jones And Jesse Ventura crap and quit insulting everybody on this site we might just listen to what they have to say.
That is one thing Ron Paul and i can agree on.I say we should close all our military bases over seas and worry only about our own defense. Our biggest mistakes are staying where we are not wanted anyway. It is about time that Germany, South Korea,Japan and all these other countries start paying for their own defense.
I know one thing…on my early morning radio talk show with Chris Plante and a few others along the the way…quite a few people were saying they’re donating today.
I’ll probably find out more about this when I get on twitter later.

His arrogance knows no bounds.
Yes, I liked it when he went after Dear Leader…took on OPEC and our mess with China, oil, O’s eligibility via BC along with the msm and all that jazz…but his welcome mat is past well worn in my neck of the woods.
Btw…I’ll vote for whomever I want…not because of anyone elses endorsement…never have, never will. He and others really need to get a clue!
Trump is sort of an idiot savant. When it comes to real estate deals and horrible TV shows, he’s capable of making a very large amount of money. When it comes to logical thinking about politics and social issues, he’s a 10-year-old child with a temper problem. Trump either thinks that his hair is youthful and natural looking, or he’s simply wearing it that way as a huge chip on his shoulder. Either way it implies a really nasty mental pathology.
Reminder..Darrell Issa gave Holder til tomorrow Feb 9th to choke up the rest of the docs on Fast & Furious and if he doesn’t, Issa said he will begin Contempt of Court proceedings against him.
I watched Issa & Co (Lundgren, Gowdy & Chaffetz) grill Holder again last week. Forgot how many times now that he’s been grilled but his answers never change from “I dunno”. And this last time, when it was the Dems turn to ask him questions, he was greeted with “Happy Groundhog Day, Sir” and were more interested in getting down to the truth of whether it was Tom Hanks or Bill Murray that played in the movie Groundhog Day. I kid you not..they (Dems) actually interrupted testimony to clear that up after having gone back and forth on it. Their disrespect to the Terry family made me want to puke. Good thing I didn’t eat breakfast before watching that.
Anyway, love the visual aids Issa always uses. Think the last one was like an org chart titled “Fortress Holder” or something like that. Next go around, they ought to each be eating a plate of pasta while Holder answers questions and ask him if he remembers any scenes from the Godfather. Maybe be playin the theme from Godfather in the background.
Btw…if memory serves me right, last weeks testimony w/ Holder was his 6th time of ‘I Don’t Knows’ etc.
You summed up the dems at the hearing perfectly. I watched it all too.
Holder needs to go…but so does his boss. We won’t get rid of either of them until Jan. ’13..in my opinion.
Unfortunately, it gives the enemies within way too much time to inflict more of their intentional damage on this country with their never-ending agenda…which is of course, each and every one of us.
The insanity never ends . Like that old dead Rothschild said , I could care less who runs the country , as long as we control da money . Some things never change .

Wow…just heard on Hannity from Santorum that he has raised over a million dollars in the last 24 hours or less!
That news makes me happy…of course, not nearly as happy as he is must be…along with his ‘Rock’, his wife… as he calls her.

Just heard Rove on Hannity give himself away…he stated “now we’re going to start looking into him (Santorum) closely…blah, blah, blah.
Well…duh Karl…No Sh!t Sherlock…we know how you work…and always have. Be careful what you wish for.
It boils down to this: Waah! ~ Rove NOT a Happy Camper…BOO-HOO!

I also thank you for the info…I’ve been wondering about that as well on and off today myself. Then again, I do every Wed.
Do you know yet if it’s still going to be on Wednesdays or not?

Trump is sort of an idiot savant. When it comes to real estate deals and horrible TV shows, he’s capable of making a very large amount of money. When it comes to logical thinking about politics and social issues, he’s a 10-year-old child with a temper problem. Trump either thinks that his hair is youthful and natural looking, or he’s simply wearing it that way as a huge chip on his shoulder. Either way it implies a really nasty mental pathology.

If you only knew how you had me burst out laughing when I read your post…how true, how true!
What’s also funny is how soon people forget this guy was praising O at the start and has given tons of money to dems too.
He’s a player alright…on both sides of the aisle. As long as he makes like a bandit.

Dudes and Dudettes:
Reminder..Darrell Issa gave Holder til tomorrow Feb 9th to choke up the rest of the docs on Fast & Furious and if he doesn’t, Issa said he will begin Contempt of Court proceedings against him.
God Bless Agent Terry and his family!

Nimitz….
Thanks so much for the reminder! With all the political stuff going on with the presidential candidates, I had forgotten all about it.
We shall see if it’s ‘Contempt of Congress’ here we come..or not!

This spells out what I meant well.

Bottom line: Holder needs to go.

Nimintz….
‘PRICELESS!’

Trump is on now with Greta on Fox…and he’s still whining, bitchin’, moaning about Santorum.
He’s truly making me sicker of him than I was in the past before the presidential campaign start-up.
Hope others here heard it…all I can say is…’What a Plick he is!’
