Former VP Dick Cheney let it all loose when it comes to Dear Leader…he minced no words whatsoever. What’s amusing is even the leftist-loons can’t spin this one…the message is loud and clear, so naturally their panties are in wad big time now…they’re outraged, outraged I tell ya!
Here’s what Cheney had to say last Saturday:
Leading off the week, is some tough talk for Obama from former Vice President Dick Cheney speaking Saturday to the Wyoming Republican Party state convention.
“He has been an unmitigated disaster to the country,” Cheney said, who said he “can’t think of a time” when he felt it was “more important to defeat a incumbent president.”
After Rick Santorum dropped out of the race this past week, Cheney in his address urged the party to pull together behind Romney. He said the former Massachusetts governor would do a “whale of a job.
Brit Hume weighed in on this matter this morning, this is via Fox:
Former Vice President Dick Cheney is out of the hospital following a heart transplant, and he made his first public appearance this weekend. When Cheney spoke at a GOP state convention in Wyoming, he commented about the 2012 election, praising Mitt Romney while slamming Obama as an “unmitigated disaster for the country.”
Brit Hume weighed in on these comments on today’s America’s Newsroom. He said it’s remarkable that Cheney came out on stage after heart transplant surgery just weeks ago and talked for an hour and 15 minutes.
In discussing what Cheney’s role will be in the 2012 election, Hume said he’s a large figure. “When he talks, as this weekend proves and a number of prior instances proved as well … when he talks, it makes news.”
“I think what he said is important on a couple of levels,” Hume said. “It reflects the sentiment of a lot of conservative Republicans that Barack Obama has not really been a poor president, or an effective president, or a weak president, or a successful president. There’s a belief in those quarters that he’s been an atrocious president.” Hume suspects that Cheney is hoping that this sentiment will be a motivator for people to turn out and vote, particularly for conservatives who may not be enthused for Mitt Romney. Hume said, “I think he’ll be a voice, if he chooses to, throughout the rest of this campaign season.”
So friends, do you think Cheney will be an asset on the campaign trail for our side of the aisle? Do you think we need more like him that has never minced words and tells it like it is from the gut? Or do you think he may be a detriment the more he speaks out because of the msm, let alone fear from some of those on our side of the aisle that I, for one, consider gutless-wonders?
Here’s an example from the left, another ‘Chart Topper.‘ from the past. – This speaks volumes!
“You’re damn right, Dick Cheney’s heart’s a political football,” Schultz said in remarks recorded by the media blog Radio Equalizer. “We ought to rip it out and kick it around and stuff it back in him.”
