This is in the category of ‘Ohhh Puhleeze…Give Me a Break!

I don’t know about all of you..but I’ve had it up to my eyebrows with political correctness. This story is going to be another one of those examples of just why millions of us across this land are past sick and tired of having to watch every single word we say…even it they’ve been terms, phrases or a singular word we’ve used forever when we express our thoughts to others.

To start this story it begins with the ‘Master-of-Disaster’ blathering his BS regarding the big, bad oil speculators…you know the good ol’ ‘Blame-Game‘ routine.

This is via Flopping Aces:

More pandering from Obama:

Of course government needs to step in to protect consumers because god knows us consumers can’t think for ourselves and we need to be protected from those eeeevvviiiiiilllllll bankers…woops, I mean those eeeeevilllllll CEO’s….woops, I mean those evvvvvillllll speculators.

Now it’s the speculators and their evil capitalist ways. I mean how dare they want to make a profit? To a Socialist, like this man, it’s pure evil to want to make money. Everything should be done to help the State, all profits should be confiscated and the government should be allowed to decide who is worthy to receive that which they didn’t work for.

This is how this man thinks.

By the way, did we hear these kinds of complaints when the price of oil went down to 30 bucks a barrel not so long ago? No, Didn’t think so.

So now our President is going to take 52 million dollars of our tax money to pay for more bureaucrats to investigate speculators again!

You can read the rest at the link highlighted above, there is much more in the story, other links and info. included.

Next up we have Michele Bachmann expressing her views regarding what Dear Leader had to say.

This is her retort via FN:

By: Mackenzie Weinger, Politico
April 19, 2012 11:12 AM EDT

Rep. Michele Bachmann accused President Barack Obama of “waving a tar baby in the air” by blaming oil speculators for the “poor choices” he’s made for energy policy.

“This is just about waving a tar baby in the air and saying that something else is a problem. I have never seen a more irresponsible president who is infantile in the way that he continually blames everybody else for his failure to first diagnose the problem, and second, to address the problem. It’s always everyone else’s fault,” the Minnesota Republican told Florida-based conservative blog The Shark Tank in an interview on Wednesday.

In the Uncle Remus stories, the Tar Baby is a doll made of tar and turpentine used to trap Br’er Rabbit. The phrase has come to mean a sticky situation, but some also consider it a derogatory term for African Americans.

Bachmann’s press secretary has not yet returned a request for comment

Now you did notice this was written via good ol’ left-leaning Politico. Oh yes…Politico is always hard at work doing their best to make hay out of absolutely nothing for anyone they can as long as they’re on the ‘R’ side of the aisle dontcha know.

Did you also notice they omitted the part where Bachmann stated that Dear Leader was a ‘complete and utter fraud‘ regarding energy etc? We know that’s what really get’s under their skin, the truth hurts…so instead they proceed with pathetic attempts using anything they can to deflect the point a person makes if it doesn’t suit their fancy…let alone giving the best spin possible with their 24/7 agenda to ensure their be all end all ‘messiah’ is reelected….simple as that.

And by the way, a newsflash for Politico…don’t hold your breath waiting for a response from Bachmann, as far as I’m concerned I hope she does that when hell freezes over!

We won’t be silenced, we won’t be cowered…they can take that and stick it in their pipes and smoke it!

Express your views friends…all I do know is when somebody like Bachmann calls a ‘spade a spade‘, they go completely bananas! – Oops, I suppose that term above can be twisted into something not politically correct in the La-La-Land universe these lunatic leftists live in.

Methinks it’s time to call for the men in little white coats to come and take them away…ha ha, ho ho, hee hee!

  1. bigtimer, It’s getting harder and harder to watch this con man in action as he continues to engage his gullible supporters into voting him right into office again for an additional four more years! I have to minimize my televison vewing now nearly every day just so I can avoid listening to anymore of his lies! All I can hope for is that most Americans will eventually wake up and recognize this wolf in sheeps clothing once and for all!

    • Howdy Renee…

You’re not alone by a long shot…when he came on with this spew (with Eric Holder at his side along with others) I could only listen long enough to his lying garbage until I could get to the clicker…period.

I am thankful for Bachmann and few others had to say about it afterwards, but she minced no words…we need more of that…big time!

I was a big fan of the Joel Chandler Harris stories as a child. Disney made “The Song of The South” and the music is still played at their theme parks. They took the movie out of circulation because of PC. Uncle Remus used to be a slave, you see. Blacks can always throw slavery in your face but white people may never refer to it unless it is to grovel for forgvness. It doesn’t matter that the Uncle Remus character is a wise, compassionate person bercause the film still reminds blacks of slavery. I found a DVD at a gun show but it turned out to ba a cheap copy of a foreign VHS tape smuggled in from somewhere. I challenge the Disney corporation to release the film and trust grownups to put it in historical perspective and value it for the srtistic and dramatic value. I fear I wait in vain.

    • DtL…

Have you tried Amazon? When I was going thru all the images I wanted to to pick from I saw some that had what you speak of that one could buy via Amazon. – Just a suggestion type of thing.

        • You’re more than welcome…wishing you much luck.

I forgot to mention what you stated in your above post…you hit the nail on the head regarding all of this. It’s sad what’s happened to this country, it has to be halted…it just has to.

          (0)
      • Death to Libtards says:

Hmmm. There seem to be a lot of books and music CD’s available, but the original film is still under PC ban. The Disney company, parent of ABC (“Good Christian Bitches”) is still under the spell of Hollywood lefties…Sad, it didn’t used to be this way. Cartoons and films from the forties and fifties are full of politically incorrect material. The only one who gets a pass is Ted Turner. TCM shows a lot of stuff without censorship but would normally make the PC police stage a massive raid.

        (0)
        • Oh darn DtL…I sure was hoping good luck for you. – agree with everything else you said too. Our country is going to hell in a hand-basket and then some right before our eyes…they just keep chipping away, counting on the younger generations of having zilch for memories when it comes to what freedom and freedom of speech really was and still should be.

          Agenda, agenda, agenda.

          (0)
          • Death to Libtards says:

Thanks. I consider myself “Memory Alpha” on American culture from the 50’s through the 80’s but I find myself increasingly irrelevant. When free speech and expression become a reality I’ll hold forth as long as people are willing to listen. Then I’ll shut up. No use wearing out your welcome!

  3. Death to Libtards says:

“They’re Coming To Take Me Away” by Napoleon XVI was also a childhood favorite. Also buried due to PC except for a DJ called Dr. Demento. Why can the left literally throw Sh!t in our faces and call it art, and censor things which are truly art? How can we fight back? I’m ready.

  5. This is why political correctness just won’t work. If you can’t
talk about an issue honestly and openly without attatching
some stupid phrase to it, then the battle is already lost. And it’s
not just in words, but in deeds as well. For example, if we had
done what the Isrealis are doing, there would be no war on terror
because we could have blasted Iran and Iraq back to the stone age
if we weren’t afraid of what other countries would think of us.

And lest we not forget the billions of dollars Uncle Sam has doled
out to foreigners to buy homes, cars, and to start their own businesses.
And folks, they overlooked the true Americans who were born and grew
up here–almost to the point of reverse discrimination against white Americans.
I am an angry disabled white male that was robbed of equal oppertunity to
prosper by these leftist loons, and I’m here to take it back!

    Defeat them we must!

  7. What ever you do, don’t throw me in that briar patch. Sayeth Brer Rabbit. “Song of the South” was a wonderful movie and Uncle Remus was a magical person. I was fascinated by it as a child. Never thought about racial overtones, just wonderful story.

    (0)
    • No one did Comanche…leave it to the left to make hay out of every single thing they can and call or imply racism.

Get’s old and will backfire…this has been going on one decade too many now.

  8. Tired if PC for damn sure,,, Can’t think of many other things that need to go the &%$% away than that crap…In addition to that the buttwipes that expouse the drivel it is need to go away too…. Let’s make November a two fer,,Obama and crew out on their ass and a National end to PC for good.

  11. For God’s sake! Can’t any term or turn of speech just mean what it means anymore? Are we going to allow these damn fools to completely gut the English language?
I guesss the Mexicans still haven’t been formally warned because whenever I go into my local Wal-Mart to but black beans for my famouse green chile enchiladas the can still says, “Frijoles Negros”. Those evil, racists, Mexicans. How dare they use original Latin terms in their language!

    (0)
    • skull…

      Exactly.

The left will do anything to divert attention away from the topic discussed…such as in this case. – Instead, they make the word ‘tar baby’ the issue instead of the man in the WH who is wholly responsible for the gas and grocery prices today, etc etc.

It’s never-ending with the left, ‘We the People’ have to end it.

  12. Political correctness is not only stupid, but is dangerous I feel it is directly responsible for the mortgage meltdown through the community reinvestment act. It also played a part in the 911 attacks, I remember seeing an interview with the airline worker who was highly suspicious of the hijackers but kept his mouth shut out of fear of offending.
I also have seen victims of crimes that put themselves in peril because they trusted a minority perpetrator too much, (stopped to help them out, gave them a ride etc.)Sometimes a little “bigotry” can be a good defense mechanism in my opinion. You have to purposely eschew common sense to engage in political correctness.

    (0)
  13. REV Wright says:

    Toby,

Sometimes a lot of “bigotry” can save your life.

Example: Any of you live in Camden, Newark, Oakland, Gary, Black Chicago, South Central [LA], Watts or Black Philly?

    If not, why not?

    hehe………..

    Here we go again indeed………..

    http://now.msn.com/now/0422-se.....38;_nwpt=1

Mmes. Collins and Maloney………. Collins most recently was the sole yes vote on the “Republican” side of the US Senate in favor of the so-called “Buffett Rule”/class warfare bill which thankfully went nowhere in spite of 52 of 53 Democrats voting in favor.
Maloney enjoys the most lucrative and quite possibly powerful district of all 435 in the House of Representatives. Nothing trumps New York’s 14th.
I wonder if Helen Reddy is their favorite singer? No doubt.

I bet you can’t find those anywhere either..just as you say.

I had forgotten all about those book/stories until I saw images of the books as well as this one mentioned in post.

Political correctness has gone mad. – Nobody took offense to any of this in the past, didn’t even think in the way of bigotry…but we all know who did…decades later of course.

Agenda matters…also equals $$$ for many like Jackson and Not-so-Sharp.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A7pZFlsfQA8

Of course in this version the word ‘mammy’ has been changed to ‘mommy’…’coffee’ to ‘hot chocolate’…see what I mean about PC?

My grandma sang it the original way…as it should be.

Here’s some history about the song.-

  22. Enoch Powell says:

I’ve had my fill of political correctness for several decades. We truly are no better off than subjects of the old Soviet Union in that regard. And the situation promises to get radically worse as we show signs of fighting back. The leftist tyrants are straining every nerve to make it illegal to express the truth.

And that idiot Romney will be no help. Mitt Romney wants to “staple a green card” to every advanced degree earned by a foreigner.

Romney’s campaign is gearing up to pander full-time to Hispanic third-world savages. With Romney we simply have another Bush/Obama/Clinton on our hands. He is the candidate of the official government party, and will do nothing to stop the rot. He will, in fact, continue the failed leftist policies that have destroyed the U.S.

Romney is a politically-correct coward. Obama is a leftist traitor. There is little difference between the two.
