Friends…you just can’t make this stuff up! The leftist-loons teaching in our public schools are at it again and this one’s a stretch the likes of which you wouldn’t believe! I don’t know about all of you…but if I had children going to public schools such as this one, they wouldn’t be attending class for very long…I’d yank them out ASAP!
Here’s one report…this is via Cowboy Byte:
Make it stop!
Verenice Gutierrez picks up on the subtle language of racism every day.
Take the peanut butter sandwich, a seemingly innocent example a teacher used in a lesson last school year.
“What about Somali or Hispanic students, who might not eat sandwiches?” says Gutierrez, principal at Harvey Scott K-8 School, a diverse school of 500 students in Northeast Portland’s Cully neighborhood.
“Another way would be to say: ‘Americans eat peanut butter and jelly, do you have anything like that?’ Let them tell you. Maybe they eat torta. Or pita.”
Guitierrez, along with all of Portland Public Schools’ principals, will start the new school year off this week by drilling in on the language of “Courageous Conversations,” the district-wide equity training being implemented in every building in phases during the past few years.
Through intensive staff trainings, frequent staff meetings, classroom observations and other initiatives, the premise is that if educators can understand their own “white privilege,” then they can change their teaching practices to boost minority students’ performance.
You can read the story in full here.
So let’s see…somehow eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich is now considered a ‘White Privilege‘…how in the world do twits like this gal arrive at that? It makes NO SENSE…zilch, zero, nada…simple as that! Yet these people that live in some kind of an alternative universe consider what they’re indoctrinating our youth with is somehow ‘Courageous Conversations‘…would someone please tell me how they figure that…anyone?
What in the world are they going to come up next folks? I’m to the point that if this wasn’t so ridiculously sad it would be comical…either way you look at this, what and who we have teaching now are nothing but despicable…I’m putting that as politely as I can.
To be sure, we have some great teachers in the school system, but they’re far and few between. People like this gal give the good teachers a bad name…know what I mean?
