As many of you know, since the election of the Dictator-in-Chief gun sales have increased month after month across this land in state after state after state…seems they still are according to an excellent report I read earlier today regarding this subject. To cut to the chase, here’s what they had to say…see if you agree.

This is via TFB:

Gun sales are sharply increasing nationally, and many gun shop owners attribute the trend line to the presidential election, WHNT in Alabama reports:

A recent FBI report shows that more than 10 million firearms have been purchased so far in 2012, a blistering pace that would shatter the all-time record of eleven million sales set just last year.

Owners and customers we talked to said the fear of stricter gun control laws under a second Obama administration are driving the spending spree. Some of them believe that President Obama will crackdown on gun access if he’s reelected.

“With what’s going on in the world, the level of uncertainty, it’s clearly having a big play,” said Andy Jones, co-owner of Last Resort Guns in Madison. “We have a constant flow of people in and out..everything from all the young guys in their 20′s, all the way through to a 93 year-old man coming in to buy his first rifle.”

Gun sales have been on the rise all year; the Free Beacon reported in April that background checks for firearms increased 19 percent in February and March over the same period in 2011.

  1. What is most encouraging to me is that the people I see in the gun shops are exactly the type of people we would want to be armed when SHTF. I know the gang bangers are stealing as many .380’s and 9’s as they can get their hands on, but I’m seeing some solid looking citizens picking up some quality pieces, and keeping the ammo shelves about half empty.

Nothing would please me more than to have people laugh at us bitter clingers in a few years for arming and stocking up. Not much transpiring lately to make that seem like the likely scenario.

    • Bluto I strongly believe the success or failure of what could come would be dependent on what the military would do. The civilian defense force (Homeland Security ) that Obama has developed will rule as Gorings Gestapo did unless the military stops them .
You cannot fight either force as lightly armed citizens. The hardware out there is too effective . Sure I’m a country boy; Magnum hunting rifles and shotguns . An ar15 or three and lots of ammo- all moot when confronted with a drones and apc’s . Unless I can build a tesla coil the size of a water tower just one of the thousands of drones that we are being taxed to build would just totally wreck my day.( yeah I’m just nuts to consider it . The smaller ones I’ve built don’t do much beyond screwing with a cheap walky talky )
Would the military buck the appointed senior officer ‘bama bots’ and support the Constitution as the oath requires or will the free United States be a past tense statement should the shtf?
( Boy that took several minutes to edit so it is conjecture instead of belief. Got to watch out for those thought police).

      • Now for neighborhood defense against the thug gangs nothing sez stay away like shotguns and a few bumpfired bursts from 5.56 rounds. But you better buy as much as you can afford now; Obama has gotten a lot of flak from his owners about not getting us unarmed and subdued fast enough. After the November election ( or lack thereof) he will go at it with a vengence.

      • Study how the Vietnamese, Iraqis and Afghans beat the War Machine. Apply it. A good start is to learn your IEDs. It won’t be easy, but it has been done.

      • You only have to outsmart the technology. Drones? IR cannot ‘see’ a heat signature through something as simple as an umbrella or a bedsheet.
As for the military; look at what happened to the military in the days following 12-20-1860 -the best and brightest told Washington to go pound sand. Let’s see what their ‘force’ of perverts, deviants and affirmative action promotions can do when the backbone of the military force in this country collectively walks out and leaves them holding the bag.

        • “They” have been working diligently to change the demographics of the military for years…the Generals are worthless sold out politicians, the promotion system is rigged to advance non white males in the enlisted ranks, and more and more of the new recruits speak english as a second language and the DOD targets non white males for their recruiting efforts ( recently a big push to get non white males into special ops and other combat MOS’s and officer programs ) Most of the young officers and warrants that I see now are non white males… Lets not forget about dont ask dont tell and the future budget cuts to the military.

I have seen it with my own eyes for over 22 years ( retired in 2008 ) and my wife has served for over 19 years so far and currently in Kuwait on deployment. So far the numbers are still slightly in our favor but not for long and not for lack of effort on the part of the cabal of marxist who seek our demise. Dont forget that these kids coming in now are a product of our society and the marxist run school systems ( yes even many of the white boys ) so there has been a cultural shift in the military… its still more conservative/patriotic then the general public but it is quickly changing. When the old salts are gone ( thanks to all of these forced retirements coming up when this adminstration cuts the budget to the bone ) … the change will be complete.. just like they planned

That picture speaks volumes…the anger is out there, we’ve had enough at home and abroad. This administration has to go!

    • Great speech. What conviction Churchill had. We could sure use a leader like him today.

      • Ditto that!

        • Yes, and I bet the British do more than we; if they had one like Him, they wouldn’t be ruled from Brussles now…
I hope the English return that bust of Winston that the 0 didn’t want in the White House. I could suggest that if they sent one Harrier, and returned that bust right ontop of 0’s pointed little head….

  7. I don’t own any guns because guns kill, and they are immoral, so I don’t own any cause they scare me.

But I have a cat named Mr. Mittens and he says make sure all your ammo purchases especially for older firearms are made with cash.

I don’t know what that means, but Mr. Mittens insisted I pass that along.

  9. As a police officer (location and department not revealed), I can honestly say it warms my heart to see the citizenry armed. I think any cop who loves this country and values the 2nd amendment would not feel threatened knowing that the citizens he or she protects is fully armed.

There are many honorable police officers and deputy sheriffs who love our country, love the cities they patrol, and want to rid our communities of crime. But of many of us are suspicious and not trusting of our government, both federal and local. There are simply too many ‘enemies within,’ and far too many of our governmental institutions are run by liberal and Marxists who despise everything America stands for.

In my opinion, it’s time to get armed and prepare your family for what is soon coming down the pike. Things are looking like they’re going get real ugly!

  12. Why did DHS purchase 28,000 tons of ammunition?

  13. A group of those whom Eric Holder described as “his people,” at least six young men, repeatedly punched a 24-year-old white woman in the face, then proceeded to kick her face over and over when she was on the ground helpless. This occurred in Buffalo, New York last week, but the event has received no attention by the mainstream media because the victim was white and the attackers were black. This was no friendly urban jostling: the woman was left with a broken nose and cracked bones in her face.

And I’m racist? How could I not be?

  14. Its simple, the ammo is to be used on American citizens as most of what was bought is illegal in war. DHS is “O”‘s civilian police force, kinda like Hitlers Brownshirts with a sicko Dyke in charge.

    (0)
    • Do you think that O would have started something like DHS if Bush had not done it in his administration? I wonder…

      (0)
    • Michael,

I noticed that too. The ammo they are buying is not target ammo. Designed to kill. Question is who?

      (0)
      • There is no question who that ammo is intended for. It is hollow point ammo, and according to the Geneva convention, that ammo is not allowed to be used on FOREIGN adversaries.

Funny there is no mention of its application on domestic targets. DHS has been hoovering up millions of rounds of ammo over the past 2 – 3 years. I’m guessing Jackboot Janet is preparing for mass rioting when either:

        A. Obama gets voted out this November.
        B. Obama issues a state of emergency and suspends elections until ‘order has been restored’.

Of course I have been accused of being a tad paranoid so maybe my imagination has run amuck.

      • Right. The .223, or 5.56mm is standard for the AR-15 type rifle. The .308 caliber is for sniper weapons. I can’t understand why they would need a round like that. You can put a scope on an AR-15 and do the same job. Most law enforcement agencies do that very thing.

Since DHS has designated returning vets and conservatives as high priority, I can only surmise that the munitions are for us.

  16. Hmmm… interesting that rising gun sales correspond exactly with graphs of the federal deficit and unemployment numbers. Of course people are getting scared shitless with such a clueless, inept shithead like Ovomit at the helm.
