Friends…if you didn’t get the chance to watch a real reporter hard at work, doing what all reporters should do when it comes to asking important, pertinent questions for whatever arena they are in, now is your chance! This is one you have to watch…I’ll still post the transcript for others who may not be able to watch the video…but words don’t do justice to the video back and forth.

Don’t know about any of you…but this gal has never heard of Matthew Lee, what I do know is we sure as heck need more intrepid reporters like him…he’s a rare find, which shouldn’t be the case in the big picture of so-called journalistic/reporters. You have to wonder if the AP will fire him after what took place…time will tell.

Here’s the video…see what you think.

Here’s the transcript…this is via FN:

A spirited exchange between an Associated Press reporter and spokesperson Victoria Nuland marked the U.S. State Department’s daily briefing Monday on the continued violence between Israel and Hamas. (Nov. 19)

MATTHEW LEE, AP REPORTER: You say that it would not be helpful for you to discuss any of your conversations that quiet diplomacy is the way to de-escalate that. Well, you have been doing your “quiet diplomacy” for almost a week. How’s it going so far?

VICTORIA NULAND, STATE DEPARTMENT: We are working hard with the parties that are working hard with…

LEE: Has it occurred to anybody that maybe being less quiet might get more results? Hrm? The squeaky wheel gets grease, that kind of thing?

NULAND: I’ll let the…

LEE: You’re being silent while people are dying left and right.

NULAND: Matt, we are being far from silent. The President has…

LEE: You’re not telling us anything about… when the Turks come out, when the leaders of Turkey come out and say that Israel is engaged in acts of terrorism and you refuse to say that you don’t agree with that or maybe you do agree with that, that’s being silent.

NULAND: Matt, we have made a decision that we need to engage in our diplomatic work diplomatically; we have been very clear on where we stand on this. Which is that we don’t practice diplomacy from the podium.

We have been very clear that Israel has the right of self-defense. Very clear that rockets continue to be fired and land on Israel. We’ve been very clear that we are working to get this conflict de-escalated. We have been very clear about our concern for the civilians and innocents on both sides who are getting caught in this.

LEE: And yet you won’t stick up for your ally Israel when the Turks, another one of your allies, say that they are engaged in terrorism in Gaza.

NULAND: We have been extremely clear about our concern for Israel security and the fact that Israel has the right to self-defense but I am not going to go further than that.

LEE: Why can’t you say that you don’t agree with the Turks?

NULAND: Because I am not going to get into a public spitting match with allies on either side. We’re just not going to do that, okay?

LEE: But you think that’s worse, a public spitting match between one of your allies is worse than hundreds of people dying every day.

NULAND: I don’t understand the question here. There is not a question here, you’re just looking for a fight, let’s go, say it, say it.

LEE: No no no, the fight is already, whats going on over there. And you guys by refusing saying anything about what you’re going trying to do by refusing to say whether you agree or disagree with comments that are being made by your allies or others, that makes things worse, not better.

NULAND: We of course agree that rhetorical attacks against Israel are not helpful at this moment. Is that what you are looking for Matt?

LEE: Yes

NULAND: Thank you

By the way, Shrillary to the rescue!…there is a supposed ‘Cease Fire‘ truce that’s supposed to be coming sometime today…how long do you think that will last? You can read more about that in this link:

Hamas, Israel reportedly near truce agreement, as Clinton heads to Middle East

Throw in your two-cents, do you think we’ll ever see the day we have more reporters such as Lee…or is that just a pipe-dream? – I don’t know about you, but I’m not holding my breath.

Nevertheless, what did you think of the back and forth regarding this very important subject that’s going on in this world as we speak?

  3. Our MIC (Muslim In Chief) 0bama……

will hang Israel out to dry first chance he gets.

    • Already in process.

      (0)
    • I think he already has…he says one thing publicly, then tells them to hold their fire behind the scenes with various threats of withholding aide to Israel when it comes to parts and such only we provide that they may need pronto, they don’t come any phonier than the MIC!

      (0)
  4. The cease fire will last as long as it takes Hamas to get resupplied by Iran.

The day we see more reporters like Lee will be the day the next Republican administration takes office. And I’m not holding my breath for that day.

The back-and-forth between Nuland and Lee is an obvious exception to the rule. The rule being: If a “D”, then throw batting practice; if an “R”, then bring the high heat.

  7. Quartier LeBlanc says:

Before we start giving Israel a free pass, about 10,000 Christians live in Gaza and about 2% of the population of Israel is Christian, a number that is steadily shrinking because of Israeli policy towards them. They aren’t the total good guys in this fight.

    (0)
    • You might want to talk to the Coptic Christians in Egypt since Muslim Brotherhood leader Morsi took over and see what happened to them…there is no comparison here…whatsoever.

Btw…Does Israel burn and destroy their churches and homes? – I don’t even understand where you’re coming from here.

      (0)
      • In honesty Israel does have a policy that makes it difficult, for Bible believing Christians to enter the country as far as immigrating. And in fairness alot of that revolves around the history of persecution of Jews by so called christians as in what I refer to as CINOs. Do a study of the Crusades, Spanish Inquistion, Black palgue and days leading up to the Holocaust. Even Martin Luther, before he died said some pretty bad things about Jews. At first he loved them and thought he could convert them easily, when Jews didn’t flock to him in mass and convert, he became bitter towards them. You know who he had this in common with? Mohammed!

  8. Quartier LeBlanc says:

You’re right, there’s no comparison BUT Israel does want a total Jewish state and their claim that it’s their ancestral homeland is tenuous at best. FACT: the Christian population in Israel has been decreasing steadily and it’s because they’re not welcome in what IS their ancestral home. I’ll also agree that the Muslims are just plain animals to Christians but there are no good guys in this mess.

    (0)
    • Oh, I see…so Israel is just supposed to sit back and take tons of rockets fired into their homeland by Hamas/Iran…and do NOTHING?

Would we do that in this country?

Btw…where is your link for the information you’ve stated twice, I’d like to see the site it comes from and the info in it. – Thanks.

      (0)
    • It is their ancestral homeland ya blithering idiot. You eaten hallucinogenic snails again?

      (0)
    • Quarter I beg to differ with in one aspect.Jews claim to Jerusalem/Israel is more than a tenuous if your a Bible believing Christian (if your not, than my points are mute, to you.) In Gen ch12-ch 15. Please note how G-d sealed the deal. Thats an Everlasting Covennant. G-d does not lie and he does not break promises, Also note I DO NOT BELIEVE IN REPLACEMENT THEOLOGY. G-d’s character did not change between the Old Testament and the New testament. The only thing that changed was that Jesus became the Blood Sacrifice. Praise G-d! I could switch gears and go into details of the Balfour Agreement and later UN recognition. But I simply don’t have the time or typing skills to do it. I will say this that even the Koran acknowledges Jerusalem as the Jewish capital. I will find the proper refs for this in the coming days.

  9. Quartier LeBlanc says:

Didn’t say that Israel was “just supposed to sit back and take it.” BTW we do take it in this country. We have illegal aliens who are essentially invaders commit violent crimes against our citizens and we’re taking it with a spoon. Look up the demographics of Christians in Israel. You’re not stupid. And quit sounding like a pouting liberal.

    (0)
    • Do you have a link or two pertaining to what we were discussing at the beginning? I’m still waiting…that was my question to you.

Btw…I know all about the illegals etc that are coming in and what many are up to. That has nothing to do with what I stated regarding what would our country do if ‘ROCKETS WERE POUNDING US EVERYDAY!’…period.

I’ll disregard your last snide remark…for now.

      (0)
    • QLB… this is not Stormfront.. just saying

and quit sounding like a snarky liberal

      (0)
      • Quartier LeBlanc says:

You brought up Stormfront, not me.

        (0)
        • wow..devestating response >sarcasm<

I was just trying to direct you to a site that would make you feel at home…

No nation is perfect but Israel does not deserve the hostility they have always received from muslims… I'm not going to give aid and comfort to the enemy by bashing Israel while they are fighting for their lives against a demographic that hates US just as much as Israel…

          (0)
  10. Quartier LeBlanc says:

Like I said, look up ANYTHING about Israeli Christians. Get a passport and go there. Like I said, don’t get stupid on me. What I did say is that they’re are no totally good guys in this situation. Since when is getting killed by a rocket any differerent from getting killed with a gun by a cartel member? Answer that one. BTW it’s hardly a snide comment if it’s true.

    (0)
    • Okay…got it, you have no links.

Also. as to your snide remark…if you think I’m a lib (pouting or otherwise), you have rocks for brains, tiny ones at that.

      (0)
    • QLB – I don’t like getting caught in no-man’s-land, but I do understand the point you are making. Here’s one link. Anyone can decide for themselves – and please don’t shoot the messenger.

      • Quartier LeBlanc says:

Look at subsequent statement regarding what we get in return for YOUR tax money going to Israel.

        (0)
        • unfortunately we give aid to muslim countries too… whats your point?

          (0)
          • Quartier LeBlanc says:

Exactly the point. What I originally said was that there were no totally good guys in this game and not to give the Israeli’s carte blance. BTW Israel is the biggest recepient of our money while we are living on a credit card.

            (0)
          • like I said… I am against ALL foreign aid but we aid muslim countries too… so why single out the Israelis as the objects of your contempt? That was my point…

            (0)
          • Quartier LeBlanc says:

No contempt, just stating the obvious. And you complain about the MSM? If we had a shred of character we would demanded the protection of Christians in the entire middle east. WE DON”T. Think about that one Vince.

            (0)
          • complained about that long ago… liberals defend Islam while Christians and Jews are slaughtered by muslims all over the world because they have offended islam by not converting..and not a peep from them.. so excuse me if I am giving Israel a pass on this one. Islam is the more immediate threat

YOU are preaching to the choir LOL

            (0)
          • Quartier LeBlanc says:

Vince, the West has had to put the Islamic genie back in the bottle every few decades. The last big time was in the Mahdi Wars of the late 19th century. Chalons, Lepanto, Omdurman, it’s always the same. I never said the Muslims weren’t animals. I did say the Israeli’s weren’t saints.

            (0)
          • fair enough.. just trying to see where you are coming from.

You seemed biased against Israel to me as if the Muslims where the victims…thats the only thing that bothered me. When you bring up the imperfections of Israel as a country and people in this context it makes it seem that your empathy is for the muslims… a typical liberal stance that has me really aggravated

            (0)
          • Quartier unfortunitely that genie ain’t going away this time.

            (0)
          • I certainly hope we arrive at a rational and reasonable conclusion to this unpleasant diversion – without the use of the dialectic process, or course. I counsel peace, friends. At least among ourselves.

            (0)
          • yeah.. no sense of eating our own

            (0)
          • With respect I’d rather see my tax dollars go to Israel than the Arab/Muslim/PA folks any day. And this is why; As G-d said to Abram… “I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you…”.Gen 12;3. Sorry if it sounds like a cop out, but I believe G-ds Word. Period.

            (0)
      • The Vatican needs to get its own house in order before commenting about Israeli treatment of anyone. Their Priests mistreatment of children far exceeds any perceived slight against Christians in Israel.

        (0)
        • Quartier LeBlanc says:

The Vatican doesn’t get our money.

          (0)
        • Quartier LeBlanc says:

BTW Micheal I’d really look into the sex crimes of other clergy and not just the Catholics. I”m sure the actuarial data from the insurance companies might be interesting to you. Here’s a hint. Protestants are perverts too. Here’s another newsflash. The Vatican is not calling in airstrikes against anyone.

          (0)
          • Il s’agit d’affaires désagréables. A quoi bon peut venir de celui-ci? Bonne soirée mes amis!

            (0)
  11. Quartier LeBlanc says:

And you have rocks for ovaries. I’ve given you enough and I don’t do research for the lazy or the daft. ( a four letter word you should know ) Dispute the decreasing numbers of Christians in the Levant ( another word you might want to know if you want to have a educated discussion.) You’ve certainly failed in disputed the illegal argument. Maybe you’ll even get lucky.

    (0)
    • You’re pathetic…to put it nicely.

You make statements…then can’t back them up, and tell me to do the research. – Typical lib.

      (0)
  12. Quartier LeBlanc says:

No, typically stupid … for you. Here’s an easy one honey. We give Israel how much money per year? And just do we get in return? When you fill out your tax returns get back to me assuming you pay taxes.

    (0)
    • You better include all the other countries we send money to sweetheart…Israel is a friend, what are most of the others?

Oh, I forgot honey-bun…you ignore direct questions, dodge and deflect, just like you have from the beginning with me. – Like I said…pathetic!

      (0)
    • We get blessing from G-d, sorry I can’t put a dollar amount on it. We turn our backs on Israel and we’re gonna get judgments from G-d. Wait and see.

      (0)
  13. Quartier LeBlanc says:

You’re the proverbial pot sweetheart. BTW Israel is the biggest benefactor of our largess? ( Is that too big a word for you ? ) Here’ a hint. It’s a national EBT card paid for by us. Answer the question. What do we get in return for our support of Israel except they hate the Muslims guts with a passion and that suits us just fine.

    (0)
    • I won’t answer any questions from you at the moment since you didn’t answer my original ones.

As to aid for anyone when it comes to money from the US…I’ve said time again NO in the past, still say it at the present. BUT…at this time, since things are the way they are NOW….I support Israel…period.

      (0)
    • Im against ALL foriegn aid.. but I can understand the strategy of supporting Israel as a miltiary threat to our enemies.. still dont like it much but we made our bed loooong ago and now we are stuck

      (0)
      • Quartier LeBlanc says:

No Vince, British Intelligence made that decision a long time ago. We didn’t take the bait, we swallowed it.

        (0)
        • like I said, we made that choice ( to swallow the bait ) long ago. Now what? Abandon Israel? Tell us…..

          (0)
          • Quartier LeBlanc says:

That decision is far older than us and the State of Israel possibly comes from the fertile mind of a very flawed British intelligence operative named Richard Meinertzhagen and dates back to before the Great War ( WW1) Here’s the deal. The Israeli’s have to win every battle. The Arabs only have to win once. They were never willing to pay the butcher’s bill.

            (0)
          • so what do you suggest? just say it….

            (0)
          • Quartier LeBlanc says:

It may not be solveable Vince and the longterm survivability of Israel is certainly in question. If there is going to be Jewish State dedicated to Jews as a whole, then fine. Keep it and defend it, but on your own nickel. Historically Israel has never been under the thumb of someone for a significant period of history. Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, Romans, Byzantine, Crusader, Muslim, Britain, it’s pretty much been conquered territory.

            (0)
          • okay, fair enough.. not saying I totally agree under the current curcumstances but at least you answered the question..

for the sake of arguement.. ( not trying to start one ) should we have left Europe to its own defense against Germany? What would have happened if we had done that?

            (0)
          • Quartier LeBlanc says:

Germany declared war on us first Vince. Wasn’t our decision, it was the Germans. Bad move on their part.

            (0)
          • That wasn’t his question to you.

            (0)
          • Try the fertile mind of G-d. Sheesh. And yes Israel has to win everyone and guess what, they will. Again; The HaShem factor.

            (0)
          • Vince don’t even think that. Please I respectfully urge all here not to ever abandon Israel, even in the coming months and years even when we’re paying $10/gal for gas here.

            (0)
          • Dirty Al

Dont worry brother I was NOT suggesting that we abandon Israel… I was trying to get QLB to expose himself for what he really is. If you listen to what he is “really” saying you can tell its what he thinks.. was just trying to get him to come out and say it.

            (0)
          • Quartier LeBlanc says:

Wrong Vince, Politics aside, from a military standpoint, Israel has always been a historically indefensible postion, no matter who was running the show.

            (0)
          • That is the whole point. Their postion is indefensible, The L-rd G-d Almighty is their Defense. He is their Strong Tower, their Mighty Fortress, He shelters them under his wings, he goes before them in the face of their enemies and is their rear guard. You all will see that the G-d of Abraham,Isaac and Jacob is sovereign.

            (0)
          • Quartier LeBlanc says:

Yeah yeah yeah Al, God provided one hell of defense when the Babylonians conquered them. Ditto for the Persians. God did one hell of job on Alexander the Great too. Yep, God really defended Israeal when Titus and his boys broke into the Temple, during the First Jewish Rebellion. ( HInt Al, First means there were several and the Romans won them all.) Same for the Byzantines and the Muslims more than once. God gave a damned good defense against Richard 1 and several centuries later to Gen. Allenby his countryman. Yep one hell of a defense. What kind of babble are talking about?

            (0)
          • QLB
that’s too easy for anyone that has actually read the Bible… God punished Israel on many occasions for disobedience and other sins.. typically he allowed their destruction by invading rulers..

so, I will ask for the 3rd time.. are you an atheist?
As i said before this question is pertinent because it gives us some perspective in this debate

            (0)
          • Allenbee defeated the Ottoman Turks, not the Jews. And you need to study why the early jews were defeated. Hint their defeats were judgements. As far as the Romans were concerned that also was a judgement and G-d temporarily removed his protective hand from the Jews because they didn’t accept Messiah. Jesus also prophecized the destruction of the Temp and the Despora. Ezekiel ch 37 & 38 prophecized the return of the Jews to Israel. The Muslims didn’t defeat the Jews they occupied the land after Rome pulled out. Oh the Greeks were pushed out by the Maccabees in 150bc after fighting a protracted guerilla war. This lead to the Jewish holiday Hanukhah. At the time of Crusades Israel was under Muslim control with a few Jews centered in Jerusalem.

            (0)
          • Your gonna wish it was bable.

            (0)
  14. Quartier LeBlanc says:

Darling, I did, you’re just too lazy to look up the obvious or to get a basic knowledge of the subject. Richard Meinertzhagen must be having a huge laugh from the grave. Meanwhile Christians are persecuted in the Levant ( Money says you still don’t know what that is. )

    (0)
    • What difference does it make if I know or not about the ‘Levant’ (which I do)…it has nothing to do with all the original questions to you via me. All you did was try to belittle me with your rhetoric with your arrogant answers. Waiting for your links and how you truly feel about Israel and the Jews is another story…you provided zilch. For me, that speaks many volumes about you and where you really come from via your thinking. – Prove me wrong.

      (0)
  15. Quartier LeBlanc says:

Hon, they should make you an honoraty democrat. For all you know you thought the Levant was a brand of thong underwear you saw in some glossy. Here’s a huge suggestion. Get some basic knowledge about a subject before you attemp to look stupid.

    (0)
    • Your arrogance is astounding…baby-doll.

      …’nuff said.

      (0)
      • Give up BT, this guys as slippery as a Democrat in a polling booth. He really knows little about Israel, just does a good shuffle. The Jewish state is one of our biggest trading partners in the world. Reliable weapon systems, cutting edge medicine that cannot be produced here because of lawyers, computer software and systems for military use. They are the One stabilizing force in the mideast with nukes to back themselves and us up with. Those that hate Israel you can beat with a 2×4 and they will never change, they just call ya names and diss Israel, makes em look cool to liberals. I think this dudes a liberal like Vince mentioned. Soon as they call ya stupid names they lost the argument. We give more aid to Libya, Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, and other mideast countries than Israel and get dunged on daily, Israel pays their way by far and they can fight size for size and beat almost any military around. Its really Black and White, they are our friends and ally. ALL the others are not.

        (0)
        • Thank you and right you are in every aspect. – And what are we going to do since Dear Leader and some in the Senate voted to reduce our military missile capability (and we have)…’Duck and Cover?’ – Just friggin’ lovely….eh?

          (0)
        • Michael best of all, Israel has the HaShem (the L-rd) factor.
“indeed HE who watches over Israel never slumbers or sleeps.” From the 121 Psalm.

          (0)
        • Quartier LeBlanc says:

Actually the IDF is a pretty good third world army but not that much more. After all look at the level of competition. The IDF had a real hard time in the 2006 Israeli-Hezbollah war and their vaunted Merkava tank had its ass handed to them. All that playing against light infantry. The IMI tried to copy the Valmet M76 and then screwed it up. Of course there is the Lavi debacle.

          (0)
  16. Quartier LeBlanc says:

And your deference is expected sweetheart.

    (0)
  17. Quartier LeBlanc says:

Uh, this is the first time you asked this question. I don’t have a problem with Jews or the religion. Not a thing. However the current State of Israel is horribly flawed and by design was created to cause instablility in the region. It is what is? BTW have you even been out of Bugtussle.?

    (0)
    • You have to be the most self-serving, holier than thou, arrogant bastid I’ve ever seen on this site. – Job well done.

      (0)
      • Big He just showed his hand. I’ll admit he was pretty slick. Somebody has been reading the “The Protocols of the Elders of Zion.” Whoever told him to go back to Stormfront hit the nail on the head.

        (0)
        • Agreed. Even in good ol’ Bugtussle we could see thru a slick-talker.

          (0)
          • Big I love it when people bring up the stuff about the creation of Israel was a conspiracy. Funny how some Jewish guys back about 2500 years ago told about the Jews coming Home and their nation being “born again in a day”. Even if it was a “conspiracy” it still fulfilled prophecy.

            (0)
          • ‘Left Behind’…comes to mind. (Even in Bugtussle)

            (0)
          • Quartier LeBlanc says:

Please hon, I know you’re po’d about losing out to Jethro as validictorian in the Hooterville 6th grade special ed class, but do try go get a brain. The only person who mentioned a conspiracy and Strormfront is you and your acolytes. ( Another big word which translates for you into kissing brother/cousin/other first degree relative)
I know the snake charming preacher man you’re so fond of probably told you that Israel was created in a day by the hand of God but that’s not really true. I’d suggest your read or better yet have someone read to you some of the happenings during the 1948 US presidential elections. Get a brain and think. Here’s a helpful hint. When the preacher decides to give you a good dose of the Holy Ghost tell him not to stick your head under water for more than 5 minutes because it clouds your thinking afterwards.

          • QLB, are you an atheist? Just curious because it would help keep this verbal sparing in perspective for some of us… we can tell you hate Israel and think it should not exist but you claim to have no empathy for the muslims…

If you have a legitimate argument why resort to pejoratives and other personal attacks against bigtimer? Why attempt to insult those who agree with your nemesis ( bigtimer ) as acolytes just because we dont agree with you? Why do you feel the need to slander Christains that support Israel ( almost all do ) as snake handling kooks or hicks.. these hostile projections on your part would suggest that you are not being totally honest about the contempt you feel for Israel.

Like I said before..you have choices were you would feel more at home.. stormfront or maybe huffington post, daily koz, etc…

          • Yep your the almighty thinker alright. Keep shaking your fist at the Word of G-d. I hope you enjoy being wise in your own eyes.
AND I’M NOT ANYONE’S ACOLYTE, I SERVE THE L-RD JESUS CHRIST AND THE MAKER OF HEAVEN AND EARTH.

Trust me Al, you’re an acolyte. Ever hear of the term “useful idiots?”

          • OH now we’re name calling. You dare question my service and dedication to my LORD and Savior. Thanks for persecuting. Me I consider it a blessing. Thank you. May G-d bless you, Sir.

          • QLB
funny.. I heard the same kind of arguments against Israel from occupy wall street types, the nation of islam and the aryan nation.. so what tribe are you rolling with?

are you an athiest? ( 4th time )

            (0)
  18. Quartier LeBlanc says:

Hey Vince. Newsflash. I didn’t start with me.

    • care to answer my question.. here it is again.. are you an atheist? Yes, it is a pertinent question because it gives some perspective to the conversation

      (0)
      • Quartier LeBlanc says:

No Vince, I’m not atheist. There is one thing I’m curious about. You mentioned that God punished Israel at times for their indiscretions. What makes you think they have stopped pissing off God? Do you have some kind of special relationship or did you just get off your meds?

        (0)
        • I know I do and you can too. And no I’m sure He isn’t real happy with them about everything. As a example what you refered to about operation Cast Lead. They won but it wasn’t pretty or decisive. Yeah the Merkava has its problems, the M1 Abrams is also probably one of the best as well as the Leopard. They all are subject to “the Golden bullet”. My MOS was 19k20-30.

          • Quartier LeBlanc says:

Al I don’t mind talking to you but you seem just a bit goofy. Did being on a number of lists including no fly bother you that much?

            (0)
          • Yeah QT I’ll admit I can be goofy at times. Look I look at things differently than a lot of folks because I relate History, Geopolitics, current affairs, with scripture. I also tend to take scripture literally not alagorically. I also am dislexic, can’t type and am basically computer stupid. Thusly lack of links etc. My comments are based on what I have searched out, scripture, history etc. I’m being honest and forthright from my perspective.

            (0)
          • Also I haven’t flown but once since Oct of 2001, when I came home from serving in Bosnia.

            (0)
        • I have no idea what is on Gods mind about Israel.. and YOU don’t either despite your belief that you are intellectually superior to everyone who disagrees with you.

I never claimed to have any relationship with God much less a special one.. so your snarky responses and pejoratives for those that disagree with you only serve to make things personal and diminishes any possibility of debate

You say that you are not an atheist.. hmmm sorry but I don’t really buy it. A belief in the rastafarian spaghetti monster does not make you a believer LOL

          (0)
          • Quartier LeBlanc says:

No Vince, your statment is a matter of record. You seem to know what no one seems to know. Do tell. God seems to have let the known world take their shots because he/she is pissed at the Jews. How has this changed. After all history is on my side. And yet somehow your beliefs are somehow superior to mine. Here’s a suggestion. If the meds fail there’s always electroshock.

            (0)
          • WOW, more snarky reponses from a coward who lacks the integrity to admit that he hates Israel…and I need therapy? LOL

he/she is pissed at the Jews? yeah.. your a Christain alright LOL no reason to discuss this further since you lack the integrity to tell the truth..

Arent you late for your Nation of Islam meeting? Or do you have plans to occupy wall street again?

  21. Okay, I’ve sifted to this whole post as much as I can. I have a hard time following nested threads but thats my problem.

    QLB

I think you asked for a link as to how Israelis treat Christians.

    http://online.wsj.com/article/.....48982.html

I think you’ll find it sufficiently informative. If you disagree please provide a link to the contrary. You state the shrinking number of Christians living in Israel has to do with Israel’s policies regarding them. Are you sure it doesn’t have anything to do with the 3000 rockets/missiles shot into Israel from Gaza since 2009?

By the way, IIRC Israel has a Muslim population of about 2% as well, living in Israel, voluntarily and seem to be quite happy with the treatment they recieve from their Jewish neighbors.

I have a hard time trying to understand how Israel’s treatment of Christians has anything to do with Israel defending their country from attack. I believe this will suffice for the time being.

    • Quartier LeBlanc says:

And the source is? The Israeli ambassador to the US. How baised is that? I’ll go back to my original statement. To paraphrase, ” that the Israelis are not totally the good guys here. They’re our allies, BUT their interests are not necessarily ours. Find a Christian source and get back to me.

      (0)
      • QL, I support Israel in this because they are not Muslim savages bent on world domination. Israel contributes to the world with technology and scientific advancements. I realize Israel’s interests are not completely those of America. But they do share the same values. Muslims share NONE of our values and want to destroy us.

If Mexico was launching missiles into Texas, I would expect any American president to flatten the whole @#&* country! And I hope Israel does exactly that against those Muslim terrorists! I really don’t see what more there is to discuss on this matter.

        awd

        (0)
        • Quartier LeBlanc says:

I’ll repeat my original statement about and that the Israeli’s weren’t totally good guys here. However I don’t get on my knees to Israel either. My concern is the good old USA.
I’ll also repeat my statement regarding the Mexicans. They don’t need rockets, they have their illegals, cartels and drugs and the red carpet has been rolled out for them. They’re just another weapon in asymetric warfare.
What you’d expect and what you’d get if the Mexicans were launching rockets here would be two entirely different things.

          (0)
      • YES WE KNOW… Israel is not perfect… okay…neither are we

What is your purpose for bringing that up in this forum? Empathy with the muslim terrorists? How hard is it for you to hide your contempt for Israel? Do you grind your teeth while trying to appear moderate? Geesh I just dont understand you… and Im actually trying

        (0)
      • Do you really think an Israeli ambassador is going to lie in public, and on the record considering current US policy is slanted in favor of the Palestinians? It’s cited from the Wall Street Journal. The MSM would have torn him to shreds if he was lying or somehow misinforming the American Public.

Umm, no I gave you a link, you don’t like it cough something else up. This ain’t going to be a one way street. You want to dispute it and ‘educate me’ then do it. Provide me with a link or a source. I always love it when someone screams PROVE IT PROVE IT and then once you do rips apart what you cite and somehow thinks that proves their point. BRAVO SIERRA buddy. You want to talk smack about Israel you should at least follow through and back your smack talk up.

And why exactly does it matter they are not ‘totally the good guys here’? What difference does that make? If it doesn’t make a difference than why did you bring it up?

        (0)
        • Quartier LeBlanc says:

Here’s a huge newsflash hon. People lie in public all the time. Get back on your meds.

          (0)
          • wow.. condescending much? Your insipid and redundant responses are beginning to expose you for the troll that you are…yawn. Why can’t you just keep it pithy and say you have empathy for the muslims that are attacking Israel.. drop the pretenses of neutrality already

            you must self medicate…frequently

( see I can be snarky and juvenile too )

          • Quartier LeBlanc says:

I’ll put into another way, a way you can understand. When you stick your head up your ass, is it the smell or the view you find most appealing? I know you’re stupid, but I NEVER said a thing about embracing the Muslims. Not a word. Yet a dumbass like yourself says I do. Go figure.

            (0)
          • QLB
LOL speaking of cranium anus interface…. its obvious how you feel despite your subterfuge.

NO ONE here has said that Israel is perfect or that she does not act on behalf of her own interest.. just as our country should. Israel is an ally against a REAL enemy that has an unmitigated desire to kill ALL of us. Yet YOU cant restrain your desire to castigate them as some evil entity… whose side are you on pal? Let me know when they are flying planes into our buildings and landmarks or strapping bombs to their kids to kill us then I will sing in the choir with you

            are you facing mecca now?

            (0)
          • Quartier LeBlanc says:

Are you really that stupid or could this possibly be an act? Do provide a single instance of my support for the Muslims. If there was a magazine for the average dumbass you’d be the first posterboy.

            (0)
          • I will make this simple for you okay? You are either on the side of our ally ( imperfect as they are ) or the side of the terrorist who have no problem in expressing their desire to kill ALL of us

Your feeble attempts to provoke myself and others by calling us dumbass, stupid or other belittling names repeatedly is nothing more than a coping mechanism on your part to handle the stress of not being in control of the conversation and having your opinions challenged… and only serves to make you look small and sad.

While I find this childish banter amusing I’m done for the evening…

            HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE

( yes, even you QLB LOL there is plenty of tryptophan in turkey.. it may help you with serotonin production so you can relax )

          • Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Vince…may you and your loved ones have a joyous gathering.

            (0)
          • News flash jackwagon. Let me recap a few little things for you:

Christians are prominent in all aspects of Israeli life, serving in the Knesset, the Foreign Ministry and on the Supreme Court. They are exempt from military service, but thousands have volunteered and been sworn in on special New Testaments printed in Hebrew. Israeli Arab Christians are on average more affluent than Israeli Jews and better-educated, even scoring higher on their SATs. Israel remains committed to its Declaration of Independence pledge to “ensure the complete equality of all its citizens irrespective of religion.”

All easily verified by multiple sources if you wanted to bother.

Also easily verifiable is the data he gives on the growth of Christians and believe it or not Muslims in Israeli controlled lands. Also verifiable is the sharp decline in the populations of Christians in Gaza and the West Bank.

But you don’t want to do that do you? It doesn’t fit the narrative you are trying to ram down are throats.

I will echo Vince’s question because I think it extremely relevant. What is your point that Israel is not the total good guys in this fight? Are the ‘Palestinians’?

            (0)
          • Quartier LeBlanc says:

Hon, I’ll make it easy on you. Just google up discrimination against Christians in Israel. With your reading comprehension skills it might take a few years to get through them all. Did I ever mention Palestinians? Ever?

            (0)
      • OT with respect I answered this question in one of my first posts to you.

  22. Hey buddy for the record I’m a guy and I ain’t your hon. Like I said this isn’t going to be a one way street. So no more scrambling around the internet for me.

“And why exactly does it matter they are not ‘totally the good guys here’? What difference does that make? If it doesn’t make a difference than why did you bring it up?”

    Answer that.

  23. To all…I hope you ignore QL, it’s obvious she/he is a troll, reminds me of Brid…a lot.

Do as you will…but you’re wasting your time.

    Just my two cents.
