Dudes and Dudettes…I’m sure you’ve all heard about the horrendous, tragic deaths of those at Sandy Hook Elementary by now. My heart goes out to all involved…with the exception of the murdering nutcase-deluxe that committed this despicable crime. From reports the shooter’s name is Adam Lanza and his mother worked at the school as well, seems he targeted her Kindergarten class. Also just heard his father was found dead at his residence. Adam’s brother, Ryan Lanza is in custody at this time. – The news is still trickling out as we speak…so things could change.

I’m going to cut to the chase and put one recent report below. – This is via FN:

DEVELOPING: Authorities say at least 26 people, including 18 children, were killed Friday when a gunman clad in black military gear opened fire inside a Connecticut elementary school.

A law enforcement official said the shooter, who is dead, was from New Jersey and had ties to Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown. Authorities recovered a Glock and Sig Sauer 9mm handgun, but it was unclear who killed the shooter, who wore black combat garb and a military vest.

Local news outlets report that the shooting occurred inside a kindergarten classroom, and that all the pupils in that classroom are unaccounted for.

An official with knowledge of the situation said the 24-year-old gunman, whose name has not been released, also had a .223-caliber rifle. The motive is not yet known.

Police are also questioning another man in connection with the shooting. Witnesses told the Connecticut Post that a handcuffed man, dressed in camouflage, was led out of a nearby woods by officers.

Connecticut State Police Lt. Paul Vance said during an afternoon news conference that police arrived at the scene “within minutes” of a 911 call placed shortly after 9:30 a.m.

“Every door, every crack, every crevice of that school” was checked, Vance said. “The entire school was searched.”

Vance did not give details about the number of victims other than to say they included students and staff, pending notification of the families. He said more information would be released, possibly later Friday.

The massacre began inside the school’s main office as the principal was making morning announcements. Sources told Fox News students throughout the school could hear gunshots over the intercom system before the gunman entered the kindergarten classroom and continued his bloody rampage.

A dispatcher at the Newtown Volunteer Ambulance Corps said a teacher was shot in the foot and taken to Danbury Hospital. Local news outlets also reported that the principal was among those shot.

Parent Lisa Procaccini told Fox News that her daughter was sitting in a classroom when she and others heard gun shots.

“She was in a small class — a reading group and they started hearing bangs,” Procaccini said. “Her teacher, and I’m grateful for this, rushed kids into the bathroom and locked the door. They told kids it was hammering and tried to keep them calm.”

“Children were crying,” Procaccini said. “She did tell me about a little boy that was in a police officer’s arms, bleeding. I don’t know if she gets it.”

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives said two firearms were recovered from the scene.

President Obama was notified of the shooting around 10:30 am ET, White House officials said.

The Newtown School District has locked down schools as a preventive measure to ensure the safety of students and staff.

A statement on the district’s website stated that afternoon kindergarten classes have been canceled.

The elementary school has close to 700 students.

Newtown is in Fairfield County, about 45 miles southwest of Hartford and 60 miles northeast of New York City.

Another unfortunate tragedy that is sure to come in a matter of no time at all will be from the gun control freaks in Washington, D.C…especially from the congress-critters on the left, starting from the Head of the Snake on down. – Be ready for it!

Add any updates you have as the day progresses…I just heard that Dear Leader will be speaking shortly. Be ready for Dear Leader to issue Executive Orders regarding the Second Amendment…count on it!

  1. QUESTION OF THE DAY: HOW LONG BEFORE THE TRAGEDY AT SANDY HOOK IS POLITICIZED?

Haven’t you just politicized it? And the dead not even cold. May they rest in peace.

  2. Never let a crisis go to waste… the prez is most likely salivating just thinking about the endless opportunities that lie ahead.

    (0)
    • You bet he is…just heard him speak, count on EO’s coming our way regarding the Second Amendment and gun control. – He’s despicable.

Btw…he said something has to be done about the numerous tragedies that involve shooting. He might want to start with Chicago!

      (0)
      • When does America fly the flag at halfmast for the one hundred plus Mexicans who died thanks to “Fast & Furious” which was a direct result of this despicable president residing in the White House???

        (0)
        • Shhh….we don’t want the msm to get any ideas. – Oh, I forgot, the majority of them don’t even know about F&F…you could tell that by their non-reports.

          (0)
          • Haven’t heard a damn word about F&F or Benghazi for over a month… then again, Rep leaders don’t have backbones either.

            (0)
          • Right you are…everything has been swept under the rug, just as Dear Leader desired.

  3. It’s already started.
Constitutionalists and freedom lovers everywhere need to start getting ready. Obama’s re-election by the Amerikan Sheeple was the go-ahead signal for the Socialists in power to began the removal of liberties guaranteed by our now defunct (since Nov 6) Constitution. This is just the beginning…

  6. Obama’s people have already made it political.

Very shortly after it happened Obama was overheard talking about renewing the ban on “Assault Weapons” in response to what happened.

The “left” never misses an opportunity to make things like this political to benefit their agenda. If you ask me the government can’t go bankrupt soon enough because when it does it may be our only chance to be rid of them.

  7. My heart goes out to the families of the slain. I am deeply moved by today’s tragedy.
    Via the teleprompter;
“As a country, we have been through this too many times. Whether it is an elementary school in Newtown, or a shopping mall in Oregon, or a temple in Wisconsin, or a movie theater in Aurora, or a street corner in Chicago, these neighborhoods are our neighborhoods and these children are our children. And we’re going to have to come together and take meaningful action to prevent more tragedies like this, regardless of the politics.”
I hate to say, but I’ll admit, that I sometimes see the spectre of “dark forces” manipulating events. I hope that I’m wrong. The Brits used a massacre of Kindergartners to enact and enforce gun confiscation policies. I can read between the lines in the quote above. WE must remain vigilant or ALL WILL BE LOST. Make no mistake, this tragedy WILL be politicized, even more so because of the age of most of the victims. We may hear about “red flags” and “warning signs” when they speak of the shooter, but when the day is done, it WILL NOT be the shooter that is blamed.
God bless and comfort the victims and survivors.

    (0)
    • It was a warning shot from Dear Leader and his phony tears…people better be ready for what he tries to do with our rights, and he will do it soon.

      (0)
      • According to RodeoMan, its okay that Obamallamadrama is politicizing it, but he just followed suit with you right BT? He won’t have to blame Bush, Obama can just point to BT and say, “SHE STARTED IT!”

Do you really think RM is Brid? Maybe he is just some angsty teen that is in love with your avatar, BT?

        (0)
        • Hell, who wouldn’t be in love with BT’s avatar!!!

          (0)
          • Don’t tell AWD, but her Avatar is what kept me around when I first stumbled in here a year or two ago. 😉

          • Caegyn,

BT is my gal… no room for the two of us. Btw… if BT ever invites you for dinner, just know it will be leftovers.

            (0)
          • Lol…leftovers (tacos & such if I recall) they were because you didn’t show up the night before. 😉

            (0)
          • I like Tacos. I even like leftover Tacos cause it gives the meat some time to marinate in the Taco spicy goodness! :)

            (0)
        • Howdy Caegyn…yeah, I do think RodeoClown is Brid. I have since the day she/he showed up…at least by the end of the night it sealed it for me.

Btw…You and Paul are too sweet. – thanks to both of you. 😉

  8. Seems the msm got the shooters name wrong too!

    http://www.thegatewaypundit.co.....ten-class/

Gee…now I’m hearing that the father of the nutcase shooter may be alive. Why can’t the msm wait to report news until they know the real facts?

  9. Quartier LeBlanc says:

Hell, watch MSNBC. I’ve already bought 20 more Magpul mags split between Brownell’s and Midway. Now I’m listening to that nitwit Toure or whatever his name is. I suggest you start buying them now. Parts are getting hard to come by. Now I need to find some decent ammo. Will probably get something with a reasonable lower and just sub it out with parts of my choice when available tomorrow.

    • I couldn’t stand to go that msDNC Funny Farm today…no way, no how! – They’ve only just begun, this will go on for too many days to come via the leftist msm, it will be never-ending.

      • Quartier LeBlanc says:

The timing of this almost makes me into a conspiracy theory believer. It’s nuts out there. For me to find a lower receiver, I’m probably going to have to buy a whole friggin weapon and then start replacing parts which is a huge pain in the ass.

        (0)
  10. All too sadly they will focus on the guns and not the reasons this asshole went berserk. Mommy complex of some kind seeing he killed her too …probably hated the kids casue they drew attention away from his useless being.

    (0)
    • Right you are…plus, I just heard via radio the weapons were registered in the shooters mother’s name. – It’s the guns fault dontcha know…plus, it must also be the parents as well. Never the nutcase that did the murder spree…no siree!

  12. Lock up the nutjobs says:

Yup, the gun controllers will be salivating at this. They are nothing more than carrion feeders.

Bad cases don’t make good laws and I fear this will be a tipping point, just like we had in Australia with the Port Arthur massacre.

The problem isn’t directly gun ownership, it’s inapproriate (lazy) storage and availablity to nutjobs.

Next question for the gun controllers.. What effect do your Hollywood luvvies have in shaping the extreme violence in the minds of youth? Maybe someone can correct me here but this sort of massacre was rare if not nonexistent prior to the 60s revolution. But of course, media censorship is verboten but gun censorship is ok.

  13. To every twit that whines about needing more gun control to stop tragedies like this I offer the following link as a rebuttal.

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/new.....chool.html

If the knife in the picture is the knife used or type of knife used I can say with authority the exact same type of knife sits in my kitchen knife cutlery thingy. Its a paring knife I bought at Wal-Mart.

    (0)
    • Yep…saw that on Drudge, glad you posted that here…in more ways than one.

      (0)
      • It would seem a society without guns still has school massacres. We better get on top of this and outlaw knives, too. Oh and baseball bats. Assault with a weapon is carried out more often with a bat then any other non-gun weapon. I guess we better cancel the World Series. Who would have thought all of those fans at a baseball game were in such mortal peril.

  14. Haveing dealt with unstable relatives that were unpredictable and prone to violence I think the system failed the public and all those murdered children by allowing someone such as this to live in the general public, I’ve witnessed family’s doing all the can even to the point of covering up issues about an unstable person not realizing they are a time bomb waiting to go off at any moment, these so called mental health clinic’s that suck up tax dollars, pill these people up and have a little counseling secession with them and find the thin line that justify turning them lose on an unaware public.

    • ga steve…

One of the first things I thought of when this news broke was some of what you mentioned regarding meds…you can be sure those had to be involved, they have been involved in connection with the shooters ingesting them in every major school shooting.

      (0)
  15. Quartier LeBlanc says:

Isn’t it intereting that some nutjob on meds just happens to provide our fearless leader what he sees as an opportunity. You can rest assured that liberals are secretly dancing in glee over this.

  17. Why couldn’t this tragedy happened in the halls of congress or on the senate floor, a tragedy gone to waste.

    (0)
  18. I think all of these recent shootings are staged events by the government… funny how so much more of this shite has happened since Obama took office. The radical left celebrates every time this shite happens..

These children and all of the other victims of these tragic events are nothing but collateral damage to the marxist democrats in our government that want to disarm this country… all they need to do is CREATE one crisis after another to emotionally manipulate “the people” into supporting THEIR desire to disarm us all for the sake of “safety”

go ahead.. call me crazy.. like our government has not participated in some shady shite before?

    (0)
    • Quartier LeBlanc says:

You’re really on to this Vince. How hard is it to get a nutcase liberal to do just about anything? A little crazy with some drugs, some mental illness and a hardy dose of liberalism; shake it up and what do you get?

      (0)
    • Vince,
      I’ve had the same thought’s,

      (0)
    • I’m having a hard time getting my mind around that one. What do you base that on? Murdering children for a political agenda?

      Convince me Vince.

      (0)
      • MichealT

YES… I wouldn’t put ANYTHING past this government or should I say the real power behind it all that pulls their strings.

You are talking about an administration that supports ripping unborn babies apart in the womb and sucking them out like garbage to be disposed of by the tens of thousands every year.. and you are so shocked that they would kill a few for a political agenda? Just add the victims today to the long list of victims that are slaughtered for a political agenda every year.. unless you really believe that abortion is not political..

Not being a smart ass but do I really need to convince you of what these marxist pricks are capable of? The lives of OUR children mean nothing to these pricks… the New World Order agenda of global domination means EVERYTHING. We are ALL disposable.

        • I know that evil exists, I’ve seen it. I’m not disagreeing with your theory, it’s just that for me to admit to the possibility, I don’t know where to go with that.

          (0)
      • I’m with Vince. Can’t prove the conspiracy, but this lefty crowd believes the end justifies the means. I apply the logic principal of cui bono to these horrible situations and the left always wins. That’s as close to proof as I have but it’s good enough for me. I have guns to deal with an illegitimate government not to kill kindergarten kids. They have no right to take mine because some nut job used his for that. Three months from now the victims and their families will have received the backhand of the government and the left will be well on the way to gun control. Cui bono?

        (0)
        • RDG, gun control will fail if they try it. Oh sure, blue states will ban AR’s or AK’s or A-whatever it is they think is soooo evil. But those of us who are prepared for any overreach from a government we neither like nor trust won’t be affected. I believe that.

          awd

          (0)
          • I too agree that gun control will ultimately fail because peaceable, stable people are not going to be pushed around. But I can’t help thinking there is a conspiracy here. We are having one of these horrors every two or three weeks now and the drumbeat is that the gun did it. Instead of asking the more important question as to why we, as a society, are producing these seriously troubled people the left and their toads ask why are guns allowed. Instead of asking how the public schools failed these people, they blame the gun. I want to know how someone could go through 12 years of government schooling and no one noticed they were off their rocker. We know the real answer to this, but that’s my question for the government-loving left. I’m not anti-government on principle, just don’t think it is the answer to most questions. I think there is another, deeper cause for these tragedies, but the leftist gun control agenda sure is benefiting from them and it feeds my conspiratorial mind.

            (0)
          • Well said RDG…

I hope that you and Prez Duderino are right that the attempt to take our rights to bear arms will fail.. but lets not underestimate their desire to disarm us or the population of mindless sheeple that support their agenda… after all we are the minority of a population that voted for this clown and his marxist comrades TWICE… does not inspire confidence in me

  21. There is a brain cell in the back of my head that says this latest shooting was too perfect. Obama re-elected. UN gun treaties and new domestic regulations being bandied about as new guns sales go through the roof. What better to breakdown the resistance of the pro gun faction in America than this. Call me crazy but in their wildest dreams the Socialists in our government could not have planned a better crisis to use against the 2nd Amendment……or could they?

I’m just a wonderer who heeds the words of Tommy Jeff. Question everything.

    How long will it take?

The politicization of this tragic event started to happen almost immediately.

Big Government wants desperately to take our guns away from us.

The 2nd Amendment is the only thing that prevents Big Government from gaining absolute control over us.

Like Thomas Jefferson once said,”Those who hammer their guns into plows will plow for those who do not.”

    (0)
  24. Quartier LeBlanc says:

There’s just something fishy here. The Oregon mall shooter was another disturbed White guy. He would have done a lot more damage if his weapon would not have jammed. Instead he pulled the terminate switch a little early. Now instead of getting some cheap Romo AK’s they’re using AR’s without any evidence that someone has shown them how. Do you think that somehow, somewhere these guys might be getting manipulated by person’s unknown?

Sure didn’t take long at all for the congress-critters to start right in.

  26. As much as I hate sounding like a crazy conspriracy nut case, this whole thing is very odd. Like why have we heard nothing about the mother? Why was it reported the mother was involved with the school, but now that’s not true at all? Why did he go to that school then? She had all those loaded guns with a mentally ill kid in the house? The family was well off – why didnt they get help for that kid if he was ill? Something just isn’t right with this story.

No, I’m not for gun control at all – never have been, never will be. But I agree it’s coming now.

    (0)
    • I’ve heard a bit more about this today. Seems the shooter had some kind of altercation at the school the day before with some big-wigs that work there…there were four of them he had it out with, Friday he shot and killed 3 of them…the fourth wasn’t there.

I also heard that his mother always enjoyed target shooting at the range for years and year…took both of her sons with her while growing up. I also heard she bought some arms recently because she saw an economic collapse coming after the last election etc etc.

This is all hearsay…so, who knows…this may change too.

One other thought…I bet Adam was on meds for a long time as well.

We will know more later on down the road…that’s for sure.

      (0)
      • You say,
“why doesn’t the msm wait to report things until they know so for fact with reputable sources they can check out themselves before opening their yappers via the boob-tube”

        and yet you say,

“I bet Adam was on meds for a long time as well” without any source at all.

One thing you are not, lady, is consistent.

        (0)
  27. The medical examiner just said that all the victims were shot more than once. All of this in 3 minutes? The police said there was no altercation. It’s just odd.

    (0)
  28. First the rifle was in the car, now it’s in the building. One thing that’s for sure: if that kid was that sick, this is the patents fault. They should have done something, sorry that’s what I think.

    (0)
    • Yup…just heard the new conference as well.

The msm has got about everything wrong since yesterday time and time again. – Like I mentioned yesterday somewhere above…why doesn’t the msm wait to report things until they know so for fact with reputable sources they can check out themselves before opening their yappers via the boob-tube. – It drives me crazy!

      (0)
      • Big, I heard MSNBC was reporting that the shooter was the Grand Poobah of the Tea Party movement and was shot by Democrat policemen while trying to push grandmas over the cliff.

  29. Why that school then if there is no connection?
This story just doesn’t make sense without the connection to the school, whether the kid was crazy or not.

    (0)
    • I know…it keeps getting crazier and crazier. I just heard there was no altercation at the school with Adam the day before. – I’m exasperated with the msm…period.

What a terrible thing this all is…especially the number of times the kids were shot…horrible!

      (0)
  30. Can you imagine how terrified those kids were? My nephew is that age. It brings tears to my eyes –

Now it will be time to take guns away. And Hillary can’t testify, she’s too sick. Sigh. It just gets better and better.

“a black swan event”??!! Did you hear that?

    (0)
  31. Do you think Obama came across as sincere?

    (0)
  32. One key public policy question — does gun control save lives? — is almost impossible to answer thanks to a dearth of research on the subject. That lack of research is no accident. It’s the product of a concerted campaign by the gun lobby and its allies on Capitol Hill to stymie and even explicitly outlaw scientific research into gun violence in what critics charge is an attempt to deceive the public about the dangers of guns.

Gun violence is the second leading cause of death in the U.S. for young people, after car accidents, but the federal agency responsible for researching ways to stop it has had its hands tied. No other research topic has been singled out in this way. “We’ve got a huge social problem that causes a very substantial amount of premature mortality and by and large, we have invested scant resources studying it. And the reason is politics,” Teret said.

So don’t expect any data to back up your argument one way or another.

    (0)
    • There isn’t such a thing as ‘gun violence’…the gun doesn’t get up all by itself and pull the trigger you imbecile. – Take care of Ireland, we’ll take care of our country Brid.

      (0)
    • Rodeoman, gun control costs lives. You can arm an honest man with a nuclear weapon and everyone will be safe. Disarming the good guys puts us at the mercy of bad guys. Ask yourself this, “if I had a child in that school yesterday, would I prefer that there were several well-trained teachers/principals with guns?” If you say “no,” you’re an idiot. Or a liar.

I refuse to be at the mercy of thugs and crazies. I have my Glock at my side right now. It feels like security.

      awd

      (0)
      • What I’m interested in are now many accidents happen each year? People shooting their kids by mistake …And how many people get their hands on guns they don’t own? This guy (apparently) used his mother’s guns. I wouldn’t argue for sensible, sane, people being prevented from owning guns for self-defense.

        (0)
    • Quartier LeBlanc says:

Here’s the real deal. Gun violence is predominately a Black problem. The tragedy in CT is the mortality list for about 2 weeks in just one city and that’s Chicago.
