“When they came for me,
there was no one left to speak out.”

‘Nuff said.

Well, maybe not. Since I penned this rant 5 years ago things have obviously gotten worse so may I just add, we now have a president that rules by fiat, circumventing congress at will, “legislating” without regard to the will of the people, or maybe I have that wrong since he WAS re-elected, apparently, by the people that want free stuff and no longer have the will nor the inclination to provide for themselves and WILL vote in THEIR own interests ahead of the best interests of the country.

Since the election of 2008, we have seen a rise in racial discord, more black on white crime, intimidation at the polls, more cries of “racism” from both the spokesmen, (or should that be “spokespersons”?) for those minorities and the lapdog media that seems intent on encouraging the ever widening rift between the races and the violence that follows. Also in this group are the members of congress, black AND white, pandering to not just that constituency but to every person or group that feels victimized by those of us who DO have the best interest of the country at heart.

We have a “justice” dept. or one man in that dept. that refuses to pursue and in some cases drops charges against those of a certain hue because they are “his people”. We also have the same person refusing to co-operate with an ongoing investigation into a weapons supply scheme to drug cartels past our Southern border. And to make matters worse, we have a president that invokes executive privilege to protect that one man from the “racist” “witch hunt” perpetrated by those of us who do see the problems clearly.

But let’s examine the tyranny of not just the minorities but of the individual.

Those two men, (individuals) the president and the attorney general are charged with the protection and well being of ALL the citizens of the United States, not just a select group or groups based on their skin color. And they are failing miserably. (Or are they?)

I firmly believe that these individuals and others in our government have, by their example, emboldened not just minority groups, but now, individuals, to force their opinions and beliefs or non-beliefs as it were, on the rest of us, the majority. Many on the left can say or do anything they like, no matter how outrageous, without any fear of recrimination of any sort or reportage by a complicit dominant, liberal, establishment mass media.

“Political correctness” is defined as “the alteration of language to redress real or alleged injustices and discrimination or to avoid offense”. I have read the Constitution and the Bill of Rights and can find nothing in either, that guarantees the right NOT to be offended. Some can and indeed do aggressively look for reasons to be offended and “victimized” by the alleged injustices and discrimination by we, the majority, who just want to live our lives without guilt for OUR beliefs.

Truth cannot be said in todays political environment without the truth sayers being slandered as racists, sexists, bigots, homophobes, islamophobes, or any other “phobes” that the offended can invent to suit their agenda of suppressing truth.

And the truth is that political correctness will be a determining factor in the downfall of this nation. If we, the majority don’t stand up and fight for our rights to state clearly the truth of our convictions then the nation will be shrouded in a fog of lies, deceptions and mis-direction that serves no one well except those who would control the narrative. Someone once said “control the language and you control the people”. No truer words have ever been spoken.

So we have been forced to accept mercury filled light bulbs, degenerate homosexual behavior, “green” energy alternatives, low flow toilets, smoking bans, soft drink bans, trans fat bans, salt bans, anti American screeds, flag burnings, assaults on long held beliefs, The Boy Scouts, The Girl Scouts, The Salvation Army and every other faith based organization, ever expanding debt, deficits, out of control spending and suppression of our God given rights to make our own damned decisions.

This country was founded on Judeo-Christian values and unfortunately, there are many who would turn their backs on that premise. This idea of the “separation of church and state” is ONLY referenced in an 1802 letter to the Danbury Baptist Association by then-president Thomas Jefferson in which he wrote:

“Believing with you that religion is a matter which lies solely between Man and his God, that he owes account to none other for his faith or his worship, that the legitimate powers of government reach actions only, and not opinions, I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should “make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof,” thus building a wall of separation between Church and State.”

Nowhere in the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment do the words “separation of church and state” appear. Or anywhere else in the founding documents for that matter.

It is only through activist judges and the bastardization of our language that “separation of church and state” has become the language by which some view all religious or spiritual activity. It is invisible to anyone who can actually read the written word but according to the left it’s there, you’re just not smart enough to see it. Come over to our side and we’ll give you the decoder ring that shows you RIGHT where it is.

This whole addendum to my original rant is the result of the story of yet another attack on we, the majority, by just ONE person who disagrees with just one phrase in a stage adaptation of the 1965 childrens story “Merry Christmas Charlie Brown, to be performed at a private church, at which, attendance was VOLUNTARY. Imagine if you will, being the person that has to tell the kids that worked so hard to perform a perfectly innocent play about CHRISTmas, that because of one person, one Grinch, that they would be offending this person and so, cannot.

Were it me in that position, I would tell that person and all the organizations she has aligned herself with to respectfully SHOVE IT. Sue me. I just don’t give a damn anymore. You are NOT going to just ride roughshod over MY right to free expression because a word “offends” YOU. Tough shit. The First Amendment applies to me as well and I’m going to fight you with every fiber of my being. I’ve put up with enough of your crap over the years and it’s going to stop HERE. Period. Enough is enough and you have overstepped your bounds and it is going to stop NOW. So go home, take your “feelings” with you and your anti-Christian cohorts can sit around and bitch to each other about how “unfair” the world is to you. Live with it. Accept it. Practice the “tolerance” you so hypocritically preach and stay the Hell out of my life and the lives of those who don’t or won’t surrender to your degenerate way of thinking. But if you choose not to honor my position, come ahead with your lawyers and Gestapo to shut down our production but be prepared for battle. The children and I will not go quietly.

In other words, leave Charlie Brown, the kids AND me alone.

Yet another attack of many lately on not just Christmas but, I believe, an attack on Christianity itself. We have seen far too many instances of this intolerant attitude by the left against Christians and it is time to stand up and fight and I believe that our rallying cry should be:

“It’s CHRISTmas Charlie Brown!”

  1. “This country was founded on Judeo-Christian values and unfortunately, there are many who would turn their backs on that premise.”

    No it wasn’t.

“As the government of the United States of America is not in any sense founded on the Christian Religion, – as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion or tranquility of Musselmen, – and as the said States never have entered into any war or act of hostility against any Mehomitan nation, it is declared by the parties that no pretext arising from religious opinions shall ever produce an interruption of the harmony existing between the two countries.”
Treaty between USA and Libya, signed at Tripoli, November 4, 1796, and at Algiers January 3, 1797
Senate advice and consent to ratification June 7, 1797
    Ratified June 10, 1797
Entered into force June 10, 1797
Proclaimed by the President of the United States June 10, 1797

As pointed out by Brooke Allen in ‘Our Godless Constitution':

“It is worth pointing out that although this was the 339th time a recorded vote had been required by the Senate, it was only the third unanimous vote in the Senate’s history. There is no record of debate or dissent. The text of the treaty was printed in full in the Philadelphia Gazette and in two New York papers, but there were no screams of outrage, as one might expect today.”

    • You might want to study the federalist papers & founding fathers quotes as well as the context of why the Treaty of Tripoli was signed before commenting on something you’re obviously ignorant & / or indoctrinated in.
First of all the Muslims to this day create such “treaty’s” against Christians to subjugate them because Mohammed did. It’s what they do. Secondly our founders were being attacked, enslaved & murdered by jihadis every time they traveled by sea & it wasn’t for leisure or vacations they went out on a ship but for the survival of Americans. They were paying these savages an ever increasing dihimitude to not be attacked by the pirates (like the Mob’s ‘protections’ for a store owner) to no avail!
When it comes down to it to NOT sign the treaty would have been a guaranteed death sentence for them & the country. THAT is the fact!
Nearly 1/2 of the signers of the Constitution were seminary graduates. All but 2 of the signers were extremely Godly men. The other 2 are ones that left things unclear about religious affiliation or denomination. However, they believed in Judeo Christian values. They were a mixture of religious denominations who believed the state shouldn’t have the right to tell the people HOW they are to worship, but were VERY CLEAR about the FACT we ARE a Christian nation. Our constitution, legal foundations & organization of government itself are all BASED ON MOSAIC LAW. In case you didn’t know, that’s Biblical!
Oh & while your researching some truth, you should also read what they had to say about Islam. They would have never let Muslims live & build Mosques in America!
I am so sick of liberals using that treaty for their BS without looking at anything in context. There’s a reason for everything & with most recorded documents one needs to look at the circumstances surrounding the document to understand it.

  2. Actually

“make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof,”

theoretically bans judges of any stripe from being able to outlaw Charlie Brown’s Christmas or Courthouse Nativity scenes for example…

It’s time for some of these loud-mouthed, vocal minorities to leave us alone, or leave the country. And when these minorities demand that a school or church or anyone shut down a Christmas play because they are “offended”, it’s time for the people running these churches and schools to show some intestinal fortitude, instead of running for cover. they ought to just run the play anyway, and dare these “minorities” to do their damndest. You know, “pushback”.

  8. “George Washington, the first president of the United States, never declared himself a Christian according to contemporary reports or in any of his voluminous correspondence. Washington Championed the cause of freedom from religious intolerance and compulsion. When John Murray (a universalist who denied the existence of hell) was invited to become an army chaplain, the other chaplains petitioned Washington for his dismissal. Instead, Washington gave him the appointment. On his deathbed, Washinton uttered no words of a religious nature and did not call for a clergyman to be in attendance.”
~Steven Morris, ‘The Founding Fathers Were Not Christians’, in Free Inquiry, Fall, 1995; Mr Morris gives as his reference, George Washington and Religion by Paul F. Boller Jr, pp. 16, 87, 88, 108, 113, 121, 127 (1963, Southern Methodist University Press, Dallas, TX)

Where do we find a precept in the Bible for Creeds, Confessions, Doctrines and Oaths, and whole carloads of other trumpery that we find religion encumbered with in these days?
~John Adams, second President of the USA

Gentlemen, we are not, nor have we ever been a Christian Nation …
The United States is not a Christian nation any more than it is a Jewish or Mohammedan nation.

  10. No man [should] be compelled to frequent or support any religious worship, place, or ministry whatsoever, nor [should he] be enforced, restrained, molested, or burthened in his body or goods, nor … otherwise suffer on account of his religious opinions or belief … All men [should] be free to profess and by argument to maintain their opinions in matters of religion, and … the same [should] in no wise diminish, enlarge, or affect their civil capacities.

Question with boldness even the existence of a god; because if there be one he must approve of the homage of reason more than that of blindfolded fear.

      • Its incredibly arrogant for a human being, a creature, to make any judgement about God. That is as silly as asking that termite mound out back to do my tax return…. oh noooo – they’re all facing NE. I guess I shouldn’t have claimed that trip to Disneyland as a tax deduction.

  13. Bigwayne, you must be really excited about the direction this country is currently taking. Ignorant, immoral, Godless degenerates who don’t believe in anything and don’t care about anything except money and sex. Yes Atheism is truly a beautiful thing.

  14. Just to be clear, the picture of Gestapo officers making an arrest was chosen as a header for this article because you approve of their actions, right?

Because the Gestapo aren’t just shorthand for “a scary police organization”, they were actual people who enacted actual policies defined by the Third Reich, including the eradication and persecution of minorities of all kinds including people whom you might call “degenerate homosexual[s]”.

So, if you are going to endorse a gang of Nazi cops, I suggest you be forthright about it. The internet is no place to be coy.

But if I am somehow reading you wrong, and you are indeed using that picture as an example of evil government overreach, please explain how in the f*** your position differs significantly from theirs.

    • It’s meant as a sign of where this country is headed.

Every day the democrats & rhino republicans push us further towards socialism & the executive branch is constantly gaining more & more power to disregard the constitution.

All the while our “leaders” strive more & more to do the bidding of their financial backers even when doing causes severe problems for the average citizen.

Meanwhile we have a national debt that is over 16.36 trillion & counting.

Sooner or later the sh!t will hit the fan & the executive branch will decide in conjunction with its financial backers & UN/NWO overlords to go all the way.

Honestly at this point the best thing that could happen to this country would be a massive EMP or a solar event that makes the 1859 Carington event look small.

the Third Reich. Fascism is a left wing ideology.

  15. Federal appeals court tosses state ban on carrying concealed weapons

In a huge win for gun-rights groups, a federal appeals court in Chicago Tuesday tossed the state’s ban on carrying concealed weapons and gave Illinois’ Legislature 180 days to craft a law legalizing concealed carry.

“The debate is over. We won. And there will be a statewide carry law in 2013,” said Todd Vandermyde, a lobbyist for the National Rifle Association.

    (0)
    • But it would mean you would have to pay the People’s Republic of Chicago’s gun registration fees as well as all the hoops the cosmopolitan gun controllers come up with. Yes, it would mean that ANYONE with a concealed weapon permit will now have to admit to owning a registered gun which means that ALL CPD contacts will be “man with a gun at residence” calls. And already the Democrats are coming up with “what kind of large capacity assault pistol magazines” should IL CCW holders be denied when carrying and OH What About all the mentally ill that could get a CCW?

We need Vermont/AK concealed weapon laws in Illinois so that we can tell all the scummy anti-gun lowlife politicians and news media people to go to hell!

  18. As someone who grew up in Chicago…I can honestly say I saw that city go from what was once a place you could safely travel unarmed and not even worry about crime…to a crime ridden filthy shithole…and it wasnt the whites who made it that way. You can thank 50 years of democrat policies and ass kissing of minorities that made Chicago and Detroit the shitholes they are today. The more you do for minorities the more they take advantage of it. Anyone with common sense can see that every major city in this country that has a very large black population is so f***ed up even the non criminal blacks have to leave to escape the thugs and assholes among their own kind.
