Texas congressman Steve Stockman was hot under the collar yesterday and he stated as such with no words minced whatsoever! This is regarding Dear Leader, gun control, and his list of nineteen executive orders that are expected to be announced tomorrow morning.

Stockman is furious when it comes to Dear Leader and his arrogant audacity with the threats of circumventing congress and usurping the constitution…again! He says he will file for O’s impeachment if he goes ahead and does as planned.

TEXAS CONGRESSMAN STEVE STOCKMAN

Here’s a report I’ve had saved since yesterday that sums it up to a tee. – This is via The Hill:

Freshman Republican Rep. Steve Stockman (Texas) on Monday said he would “seek to thwart” executive action by President Obama in regard to gun laws by any means necessary, even if it means “filing articles of impeachment.”

“The White House’s recent announcement they will use executive orders and executive actions to infringe on our constitutionally-protected right to keep and bear arms is an unconstitutional and unconscionable attack on the very founding principles of this republic,” Stockman said in a statement. “I will seek to thwart this action by any means necessary, including but not limited to eliminating funding for implementation, defunding the White House, and even filing articles of impeachment.”

At a press conference in the East Room on Monday, Obama said he would consider executive actions on gun control, but said such actions would be limited in scope.

“Responsible gun owners … they don’t have anything to worry about,” Obama said.

The president also ripped opponents for what he said were efforts of “ginning up fear” among gun owners.

But Stockman on Monday called potential executive action by the president “an existential threat to this nation.”

“The right of the people to keep and bear arms is what has kept this nation free and secure for over 200 years,” he continued. “The very purpose of the Second Amendment is to stop the government from disallowing people the means to defend themselves against tyranny. Any proposal to abuse executive power and infringe upon gun rights must be repelled with the stiffest legislative force possible.

“Under no circumstances whatsoever may the government take any action that disarms any peaceable person — much less without due process through an executive declaration without a vote of Congress or a ruling of a court. The President’s actions are not just an attack on the Constitution and a violation of his sworn oath of office,” he continued, “they are a direct attack on Americans that place all of us in danger. If the President is allowed to suspend constitutional rights on his own personal whims, our free republic has effectively ceased to exist.”

Obama said Monday he planned to review recommendations from Vice President Biden’s working group, and would outline his plan to reduce gun violence by the end of the week. Obama did not say say whether an assault weapons ban would be central to that effort.

Here’s what Dear Leader had to say yesterday that should frost anyone’s flakes. ~

So friends…what do you think about this? Do you think impeachment could really happen over this issue? We all know Dear Leader would never be convicted in the Senate, even if Sen. Reid would ever contemplate taking this issue up in the first place…which he wouldn’t, unless it was required by law he do so, and that being a requirement I’m not sure about…hopefully someone reading this might be.

We also know what happened to BJ Clintoon after he was impeached…he was reelected, thanks to the msm and the gutless RINOs in the Senate. Plus, he’s hailed as some great leader and spokesman to this day because of the filthy media and the democrat party big-wigs!

Do you think Cry-Baby Boehner and others in congress would stand with Stockman? I know there would be a handful on the republican side of the aisle that would join him, but I fear not nearly enough.

Nevertheless…would you stand with Steve Stockman come hell or high-water if he does file articles of impeachment and he’s all alone doing as such?

Fat – effing chance, not with this bunch! They have NOOOOOOOO problem shit-canning the conservatives in the caucus, but when it comes to the REAL enemy in this country, our cowardly lion weeper of the house is afraid of his own shadow.

Add to that the fact that we would need a majority in the senate who had stones of U-235 who would ignore the media scree. In case some of you haven’t been paying attention, we don’t. Don’t waste anyones time if it doesn’t have a chance.

  2. And speaking of the big announcement tomorrow from Dear Leader and his 19 executive orders…he’s going to use kids folks! Leave it to the dems, they always do this type of thing, but this is beneath contempt in my humble opinion.

    • Why 19 and not 18 or 20? What were those secret meetings between Fart-in-a-can and Obama all about? There is some significance about the number 19 and Farrakhan. Yeah I know Rush said it today, but…what about it? As for Stockman, he says it like it’s a last resort. I’m with RidinShotgun on this one, never will happen. They won’t hold Obamas feet to the fire on anything else, why would they impeach him?

  3. Well, I hope it happens,,,but does Cong Rep Steve Stockman have the financial backing and the “stones” ,,,,to continue with this?? I hope so.
Any way to bring Obama to justice is A-OK with me!!!

    • mrchuck…

One things for sure…we will know in a matter of time if Stockman sticks to his guns, and how many others might join him and his sentiments regarding impeachment.

      • Steve Stockman is a great one and gutsy. Hard to believe he’s an accountant. He knocked off 42 year veteran worthless Demolib Jack Brooks in 1994. I’m glad to see Steve back in the House. He doesn’t make deals with the enemy. I can guarantee you will like him. If you like Ron Paul and Tom Tancredo (both endorsed Steve) you’ll like this one. Liberals hate him – good !

        (0)
        • Hey, hey, hey…thanks for that information about Stockman, I knew very little about him. You sure helped me know which way he leans etc. – Much appreciated.

  4. The Congress oath of office:

“I do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I will take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion, and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.”

I know, I know, we all know that. Not so. If so, shouldn’t our Congress have prevented some of the executive decisions that clearly weaken the USA??? Shouldn’t our Congress via Boehner and McConnell call on the rest of Congress to impeach Obama?

    Why aren’t they?

Just as with Clinton, O could easily be impeached but it won’t go anywhere. He will not be removed from office not only because he is a radical left-wing Marxist/Communist/Socialist, but first and foremost because he is black. He is untouchable. It’s all going to plan. There are so many people benefiting from his performances, powerful people, that he is more like the King of America than ever before, and he will remain that way.

It may be a bad day for me, but I still hold to the idea that America is kaput. We are through, we are done. We have to start over. What the hell is it about 2013, anyway? Just a bad luck year. And there I thought I wasn’t superstitious.

  6. We must bring this whiny, lying, narcissistic, sleazy anti-American imposter to justice and get our country back before it’s gone forever. It is equally important that we, the people hold our elected representatives feet to the fire throughout this process.

    • Hear, Hear! – Amen to that and then some…it’s a must we do just as you suggest, but will the rest of this nation do just that?

    • you remove a illegal president, you impeach a legal one. you cant be a natural born citizen if your father was a foreign citizen at time of birth. a NBC is a “child born in a country to parents who are its citizens, these are the natives or natural born citizens”. this is in law of nations, minor v happersett and the venus supreme court cases. the founders did not want a child of foreign citizen as CiC, both parents must be american citizens. Article says “no person except a NBC OR citizen of the united states at the TIME of adoption of this Constitution shall be eligible for president”. Being born in us does not automatically you a NBC, but you can be a “citizen of the united states” according to 14th amd and ineligible now under Article 2.

How many died to deliver Obama’s Afghan campaign promises?

“1300 US servicemembers for starters, that is how many died since Obama initiated his faux surge. One thousand, three hundred US troops have been sacrificed in a cause this President didn’t believe in and that is a disgrace. The link goes to a Huffington Post story and if he has lost them, a true accounting may be forthcoming.

We may actually get a look at the cold political calculations that led to thirty thousand additional US troops being sent to Afghanistan to prove that Barack Obama was not the king of cut and run. His every pronouncement on the Iraq war as a Senator was wrongheaded and would have certainly cost us a victory there had they been followed. So as a candidate he couldn’t afford to be calling for an end to both Iraq and Afghanistan. So he decided to make Afghanistan the good war and pledged to shift our focus from the nascent victory in Iraq, which called unnecessary, to the necessary war in Afghanistan, where he would fight the good fight.

After he took office in 2009, Obama had to back up all his big talk and that was not an easy task. There were grave political dangers and sadly those took precedence over the actual national security concerns and the lives of our troops. As I wrote in 2010 in the Washington Times:

President Obama lost the war in Afghanistan during the “Great Dithering” of 2009. This was the period when he had all his advisers, including noted national security strategists David Axelrod and Robert Gibbs, huddled together loosely for about nine months. They were trying to find the most politically viable way to deliver on Mr. Obama’s campaign promises to personally track down Osama bin Laden and put his head on a pike while simultaneously running the corrupt Karzai regime out of town. Well, they failed in those efforts and now are simply trying to find a way to start leaving in time for Mr. Obama’s re-election campaign.

Now he, well the SEALs, did manage to shoot OBL in the eye, but Karzai remains and even worse the Taliban are not just resurgent, but running large swathes of the country and that increases greatly as we pack for the cut and run. Let’s look at what Obama actually said when he announced the faux surge.

“We must deny al Qaeda a safe haven. We must reverse the Taliban’s momentum and deny it the ability to overthrow the government. And we must strengthen the capacity of Afghanistan’s security forces and government so that they can take lead responsibility for Afghanistan’s future.”

The jury is still out on al Qaeda but the Taliban’s momentum is greater than it has been since they ran the Soviets out, daja vu anyone. And their ability to overthrow the government is not likely to be deterred by the tiny number of token troops Obama seems poised to leave behind. From Foreign Policy:

President Barack Obama listened to his generals the first time around; now he knows better. The Obama of 2009, new to the job, unsure of his relationship to the military and perhaps slightly overawed by his superstar commanders, David Petraeus and Stanley MacChrystal, agreed to send 30,000 additional troops to Afghanistan in the name of a counterinsurgency campaign he didn’t quite believe in. The Obama of 2013 is prepared to overrule the recommendation of his current commander, Gen. John Allen, and leave few — if any — troops behind after U.S. combat units pull out at the end of 2014. That’s what’s known as a learning curve.

The assertion that Petraeus and McChrystal won the argument about troops and strategy is ridiculous, they both noted that many times more troops and a valid commitment to winning were needed. But the recognition that nothing but a palace guard will be left behind seems unfortunately true. They can help load the helicopters on the roof of the embassy.

I made a video four years ago that was all too sadly prescient. I reminded Obama that campaign promises are not a good enough reason to send America’s finest to die in a foreign land. I had absolutely no desire to be proved wrong and hoped if he was going to continue the fight, he would do so with the resolve and resources to win. Instead he sent too few troops and stamped their orders with an expiration date that ensured Taliban knew we were leaving and the Afghans would never trust us and join the fight. One thousand three hundred men and women sacrificed, for what?”

  19. Impeachment will not do anything. It would be like cutting the head off a hydra, two more would appear in its place. What we need to do, we the people, the politicians can take a flying leap, all of them, but what we need to do, is what is in our Declaration of Independence when government becomes destructive, and no longer representative of the people. We need to declare a separation and reestablish the forms to which we are accustomed. They aren’t just words are they? They have all the force of law. I say the long train of abuses and incompetence has gone on long enough. It is time to redeclare our independence. It is time to reestablish our constitution and to create new safe guards for our future liberty by declaring new constitutional limits on congresses power to spend our money. IMHO

  22. Here ya go:

The articles of impeachment require a simple majority vote in the house. But a 2/3 vote in the senate. This senate hasn’t passed a budget in over 3 years which is illegal too. We should impeach them.

Now the beauty behind the process is this: A majority vote in the house could be done. At which time, it goes to the senate. Harry Reid CAN’T STOP those proceedings, they must come up. This process would allow senators to debate the articles on the floor and on record. This process would also place all other bills on the back burner in the media as well the senate. This would basically render the senate even more impotent… Which is GREAT for Americans especially in regards to the 2nd amendment fight. NOTHING will move in the senate until the impeachment process is over. It would be a win in its failure…It would also be another black mark on Obama’s legacy…

I’m all for anything that pains Obama and his cronies in the media/democrat party.

    (0)
    • Robert…

Thank you so much. You answered my query wondering if this passed in the House could Reid just trash it or would he be required to take it up by law…I can’t thank you enough.

Btw…since when did what the dems in power are required to do by the book hasn’t been flaunted the likes of which we’ve never seen from O and his side-kick Reid in the Senate. It wouldn’t surprise me one iota if O was impeached in the House, Reid said screw this…I don’t have to take it up.

We all know what happens after that if that scenario ever came to be…the court system all the way to SCOTUS.

We shall see what happens…no doubt about that. I also agree with your final words too…I’m all in for that.

      (0)
      • Bigtimer, the fact is, as long as the media is running blocker for the democrat party and the people of the US allow it. Reid can basically do what ever he wants. IF the Republican party refused to pass a budget for 3 years the MSM would be running 1 hour segments every day reporting on every aspect of it…

The thing that is necessary is what is the hardest. We will continue to have this type of disparity in power until California turns red or is no longer a state in the union. Texas is haven, there is no battle there. California on the other hand MUST be changed into a red state. IF that happens WE the people will be heard. Simple reason 55 house seats and a powerful senate seat.

The GOP or a third party MUST take over CA or this nation is dead as CA is now.

        (0)
        • Once again…I agree. ~

…but I do doubt I will ever live to see the day that I see my native state turn red before I leave this earth. I certainly hope I’m wrong. I still have property there…not much, still pay taxes…but it’s the last part of the family homestead since my great-grandmother set foot their long ago, along with my grandfather.

Sad state of affairs this nation is in…never thought I’d see the day she’s in the shape she is…and many of us our now at this time in our lives.

Fight on we must…no matter what.

I love you guys. You bitch and moan about the repugs and damns, but ball busted Ron Paul and his supportters.Vote Mitt was the word.Do you TRULY think the agenda would have been different? You got what you deserved. The two party system has the same body and mind.It is controlled by the same BEAST.I also love how you talk about how “bad” you are with your Glocks and AR’s.How do you protect yourselves, now that the feds(which YOU elected,by not supporting Paul)are going to take them away?

    (0)
    • Paulbootlicker.. You are serious? Ron Paul would have won if only those who voted for Romney would have written in Ron Paul? Yeah, I don’t think that math works at all. Ron Paul had a few minutes of media scrutiny and he lost the next couple states by larger margins than before. Ron Paul couldn’t get elected to POTUS it was NOT POSSIBLE. But he could have helped push Romney over the top and he chose not to.

Would it be different? you tell me, do you really think Romney would be pushing for banning guns? NOW? REALLY? Do you think your paycheck would have taken the hit it did if Romney was elected? REALLY? Tell me how engulfed you are in Ron Paul’s terrific leadership. How many bills did he sponsor in 35 years in Congress that passed? How can you lead a nation when you can’t lead your fellow members in congress? Obama had more leadership skills than Your boy even though he leads them to disaster. Don’t blame US, how about blaming Dr Paul for his lack of leadership resume?

You clowns who worship Paul are as pitiful as the Obamabots. Sigh.

      (0)
      • Im just curious… what is it about Ron Paul that YOU do not like? Please be specific… not with pejoratives like crazy old man, etc… but actual political views that you disagree with.

Pretty hard for one man to push through any bills when he is almost the only one who actually believes in the Constitution while the rest of the RINO’s and Dem/Marxists would rather ignore it… but please, tell me how making the government smaller and more accountable is such a horrible thing.

        (0)
        • Vince, Look, you had your chance to push paul to the finish line. Fact is I’d have voted for him had he been on the ballot. I was at the ABO point this election as EVERYONE should have been. (Anybody but Obama) Obama’s second term is going to damn near if not totally destroy this nation.

The fact is LEADERS are able to LEAD even those who don’t necessarily agree with them on things. You think every democrat likes everything Obama is doing? Hell no. You look at our founding fathers, they had to battle through their feelings on issues and LEADERS rise. You can’t be so rigid that you can’t lead. He couldn’t LEAD in congress and that’s why HE WAS NOT A VIABLE CANDIDATE FOR POTUS.

Difference is Paul would have got votes from Americans who saw Obama as more dangerous. But Paul’s supporters were all or nothing. So we got we got. IF you voted off ticket or didn’t vote at all the shut the hell up about everything Obama is doing. You helped.

          (0)
          • 1st… I politely asked you for an explanation.. so your sarcasm and assumptions only reflect poorly on you

2nd.. if you had been here last year when the rest of US were discussing this instead of chiming in now like some rude house guest/visitor you would know that I “held my nose” and voted for Romney( like many of us did ) since it was obvious that Paul had no chance with all the lemmings like YOU and the power hungry in his OWN party bashing him…

3rd.. you still have not provided SPECIFIC policies that YOU are opposed to… Leadership style ( or lack there of ) is not what I am asking for ( Hitler was a great leader ) You are so quick to flex your internet muscles by telling me “shut the hell up” that you miss my bigger point…

look were decades of flexibilty got us.. a marxist takeover.. enough said

            (0)
          • Vince, You politely asked what every ron paulbot asked all through the 2012 election. And the answer is still the same. HE IS UNELECTABLE. And here’s a bit of fun.. Can you tell me why you wouldn’t vote for Ted Nugent? His statements about government are the same as Ron Paul’s.. His love of liberty is the same? Why is he not on the ballot? HE’S NOT ELECTABLE! It’s not the peoples fault. Its HIS FAULT.

I like a lot of what Ron Paul says. But in order to work with people, which is what you have to do you have to be a leader. Obama like him or not has leadership qualities among his peers. Paul couldn’t get even the staunchest conservatives to follow his lead. That speaks volumes to the people.

I never said shut up, but since Paul isn’t going to be running in 2016, perhaps you should rethink your methods and push for his son. IF you treat his son like you did Paul, you will effectively kill Rand’s chances as well.

            Just a thought.

            (0)
          • well, in my opinion Obama was un-electable yet he was re-elected

it would seem that you are suggesting that Ron Paul forsake his principles or ideology to capitulate to power-hungry politicians.. yes there are career politicians on BOTH sides who hated what Paul stands for because it would diminish their power. Thats like blaming the TEA party for not having enough blacks in their ranks… how can they when they are so opposite in ideology concerning entitlements?

as for Ted Nugent… would have been better than Obama or Romney

Like I said Hitler could schmooze people very well.. but being amicable or electable it ALL that matters.. right? Ideology and a spine doesn’t matter… just as long as he can change his spots to win an election.

Not trying to start a fight… just get tired of the Paul bashing without reason

  24. Are any of you listening to Dear Leader and Crazy Uncle Joe at the moment regarding gun control?

O can’t miss a day of having his mug on TV…it’s past sickening!

Btw…I haven’t listened to one word of this BS, I can’t bear it. – I’ll listen to the summary via radio, and reading about it later.

    • SecondAmendment says:

#14 was already done. I guess the CDC’s findings that gun laws don’t work was not to BHO’s likings.

BHO should study his own backyard in Chicago (Massive anti-gun laws, massive gun murders). Maybe BHO should wise up and realize it isn’t law abiding guns owners, it is criminal cultures that he refuses to acknowledge.

Other line items are written as unbounded, open ended power, invasion of privacy and loss of freedom grabs.

      Obamacare extends its tentacles.

The following is a list, provided by the White House, of executive actions President Obama plans to take to address gun violence.

      1. Issue a Presidential Memorandum to require federal agencies to make relevant data available to the federal background check system.

      2. Address unnecessary legal barriers, particularly relating to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, that may prevent states from making information available to the background check system.

      3. Improve incentives for states to share information with the background check system.

      4. Direct the Attorney General to review categories of individuals prohibited from having a gun to make sure dangerous people are not slipping through the cracks.

      5. Propose rulemaking to give law enforcement the ability to run a full background check on an individual before returning a seized gun.

      6. Publish a letter from ATF to federally licensed gun dealers providing guidance on how to run background checks for private sellers.

      7. Launch a national safe and responsible gun ownership campaign.

      8. Review safety standards for gun locks and gun safes (Consumer Product Safety Commission).

      9. Issue a Presidential Memorandum to require federal law enforcement to trace guns recovered in criminal investigations.

      10. Release a DOJ report analyzing information on lost and stolen guns and make it widely available to law enforcement.

      11. Nominate an ATF director.

      12. Provide law enforcement, first responders, and school officials with proper training for active shooter situations.

      13. Maximize enforcement efforts to prevent gun violence and prosecute gun crime.

      14. Issue a Presidential Memorandum directing the Centers for Disease Control to research the causes and prevention of gun violence.

      15. Direct the Attorney General to issue a report on the availability and most effective use of new gun safety technologies and challenge the private sector to develop innovative technologies.

      16. Clarify that the Affordable Care Act does not prohibit doctors asking their patients about guns in their homes.

      17. Release a letter to health care providers clarifying that no federal law prohibits them from reporting threats of violence to law enforcement authorities.

      18. Provide incentives for schools to hire school resource officers.

      19. Develop model emergency response plans for schools, houses of worship and institutions of higher education.

      20. Release a letter to state health officials clarifying the scope of mental health services that Medicaid plans must cover.

      21. Finalize regulations clarifying essential health benefits and parity requirements within ACA exchanges.

      22. Commit to finalizing mental health parity regulations.

      23. Launch a national dialogue led by Secretaries Sebelius and Duncan on mental health.

      • Oh good lord…this nation can’t take this. – Lawyers will be happy as hell, in the meantime…our insurance rates will rise again to where we can’t afford them anymore. (we’re almost to that point now.) Another way to force everyone on OCare…this has to stop!

Btw…this makes one wonder just how many doctors will comply and how many will just say screw it and retire and such.

        Complete madness…infuriating!

        • Cinnamon Girl says:

BT, you are absolutely correct. According to the directives outlined in O’s executive orders, I wouldn’t be able to own a gun since I’ve been diagnosed as having generalized anxiety disorder. Yet, I am THE most level-headed person everyone personally knows. I say personally because many are friends with the Dalai Lama online. :)

And, I am in my mid-forties yet I cannot possibly afford insurance nor the penalty (fine) of not buying it since I’m self-employed and struggling to make any ends meet.

This country has turned into such an mess that like the post about the states who refuse to comply with O’s new gun orders, we are all seceding in one way or another. Entire states are set to do so and I predict it will happen, unless there is a major turnaround, quite soon. This could be the revolution I’ve been predicting for so long, coming to fruition! Perhaps so many of us needed to be backed into a corner to the point where there was no choice but to come out fighting! Viva!

      • “7. Launch a national safe and responsible gun ownership campaign.”

Paid for by WHO? Our own taxpayer’s money forced from us at IRS gunpoint to pay the anti-gun news media to tell us how AWFUL you are to own a semi-automatic military rifle?

Note that his would be the SECOND time this happened. In 1968 after the Gun Control Act of 1968 was passed, the BATF ran television ads showing you needed to give the heavy weapons you had at home like mortars and showed that all a “sportsman” needed was a non-semi-automatic weapon.

Seems to me that you will NEED those heavy weapons by the end of The Regime’s Reign.

  27. Sorry, but I don’t follow decrees from the king. The key word here is executive, as in execute the laws passed by the legislative, and that’s only within the constitutional guidelines. Blather on hussein.

  28. Another one is calling for impeachment!

  29. My take:

“An impeachment action would be a disaster for the Democrats. They would be caught between the mass popular support which really exists for gun rights and the fanatical Obama groupies. It should clear the House and Democratic Senators from Flyover Country would be excruciatingly embarrassed. Ultimately Obama would probably have to drop his actions.”

  31. SecondAmendment says:

These 23 executive orders are also another obfuscation technique to take BHO’s other attracts against the US out of the news and public eye.

Benghazi 9/11/2012 terrorist murders of the Ambassador and Navy Seals will be forgotten.
BHO’s, Clinton’s and Susan Rice’s lying to the world about terrorist attach will be forgotten.
Fort Hood’s “Allahu Akbar/Workplace Violence” terrorist killings by Nidal Hasan has been forgotten while the surviving wounded soldiers can’t get the care they need because BHO won’t label this as an act of terror or war. Hasan was taking his terrorist instructions from radical muslim cleric Anwar-al-Awlaki in Yemen. “Workplace Violence”, MY ASS !!!
    Fast-and-Furious will be forgotten.
2013 ObamaCare landmines will be obfuscated.
    Tax hikes will be obfuscated.

Tax day and election day should be the same day so taxpayer voters REMEMBER. April and November were selected by the politicians for a reason not benefiting the citizens.

  32. SecondAmendment says:

This is GREAT. Exposes anti-gun hypocritical cowards !!!

The same folks that exposed Acorn has done another sting on anti-gun zealots. They go the homes of the anti-gun zealots (including Holder, publishers, MSNBC employees, etc.) and tell them they are an anti-gun group and would appreciate it the zealots would support them by posting a “This is an gun-free home”.

Guess what, none of them were willing to post the sign on their property. There stumbling responses were pathetic. What HYPOCRITICAL COWARDS !!!

  33. Citizens File Articles of Impeachment Against Obama

Articles of Impeachment Against Barack Hussein Obama – Filed by Citizen Alexander Emric Jones, January 15, 2013.

    – He has clearly communicated his intent to eviscerate the second amendment rights of American citizens by pursuing executive orders to curtail the right to keep and bear arms without congressional authorization and in violation of the second amendment.

Below, Congressman Stockman has pledged to move for impeachment against Obama. I am standing up against Obama right beside him, will you?

“The President’s actions are an existential threat to this nation,” reads a statement by Rep. Steve Stockman. “The right of the people to keep and bear arms is what has kept this nation free and secure for over 200 years.

The very purpose of the Second Amendment is to stop the government from disallowing people the means to defend themselves against tyranny.

Any proposal to abuse executive power and infringe upon gun rights must be repelled with the stiffest legislative force possible.”

    – He has aided America’s enemies, violating his oath, by sending funds to insurgents in Syria who are being commanded by Al-Qaeda terrorists.

    – He has violated federal law by overseeing a cover-up surrounding Operation Fast and Furious, the transfer of guns to Mexican drug cartels direct from the federal government.

    – He has lied to the American people by overseeing a cover-up of the Benghazi attack which directly led to the deaths of four American citizens.

The cover-up has been called “Obama’s Watergate,” yet four months after the incident, no one in the administration has been held accountable.

    – He has brazenly undermined the power of Congress by insisting his authority came from the United Nations Security Council prior to the attack on Libya and that Congressional approval was not necessary.

“I don’t even have to get to the Constitutional question,” said Obama. This is an act that “constitutes an impeachable high crime and misdemeanor under article II, section 4 of the Constitution,” according to Congressman Walter Jones.

    – He has ignored Congressional rejection of the cybersecurity bill and instead indicated he will pursue an unconstitutional executive order.

    – He has signed into law the National Defense Authorization Act which includes provisions that permit the abduction and military detention without trial of U.S. citizens, violating Habeas Corpus.

Despite Obama claiming he would not use the provisions to incarcerate U.S. citizens, it was his administration that specifically demanded these powers be included in the final NDAA bill.

    – He has enacted universal health care mandates that force Americans to buy health insurance, a clear violation of the Constitution in exceeding congressional power to regulate interstate commerce.

Obama has also handed outpreferential waivers to corporations friendly to his administration.

    – He has declared war on America’s coal industry by promising to bankrupt any company that attempts to build a new coal plant while using unconstitutional EPA regulations to strangle competition, ensuring Americans see their energy costs rise year after year.

    – He has violated the Constitution’s Takings and Due Process Clauses when he bullied the secured creditors of automaker Chrysler into accepting 30 cents on the dollar while politically connected labor unions and preferential others received better deals.

    – He has violated Article II of the Constitution by using signing statements as part of his executive usurpation of power.

“I will seek to thwart this action by any means necessary, including but not limited to eliminating funding for implementation, defunding the White House, and even filing articles of impeachment.”

    Rep. Steve Stockman, Texas.

For these, and other offenses which constitute high crimes and misdemeanors, includingperjury of oath, abuse of authority, bribery, intimidation, misuse of assets, failure to supervise, dereliction of duty, conduct unbecoming and refusal to obey a lawful order, we call for the immediate impeachment of Barack H. Obama.
