Another age old American institution bites the dust! That’s right friends, seems the Daughters of the American Revolution let so-called political correctness dictate what they may or may not do or say…besides this being beneath contempt via my viewfinder in life, it’s also INSANITY-DELUXE!

We all know political correctness has been killing this nation for a few decades, now we know the leftists are winning this pathetic issue 24/7 in one fashion or another. This report is just one more example of that…see what you think about this. – This is via FNR:

The Daughters of the American Revolution, one of the nationโ€™s oldest patriotic organizations, has erased any mention of Jesus Christ in their official book, removed prayers and poems that reference Christian imagery, and directed members to refrain from praying in the name of Christ, an outraged group of members alleged.

The dispute has been brewing for more than a year when DAR members learned that the newly revised Ritual and Missal books โ€“ the primary guide for chaplains โ€“ were altered. They noticed that the name of Jesus Christ had been omitted.

The members said DAR leadership made the changes to be politically correct and to accommodate new members of other religious beliefs.

You can read the rest of the report from Todd Starnes here…plus, there is some more information with another video here as well. Both links are well worth your time to take a look at.

DAR’s motto has always been ‘God, Home and Country‘…what will it become now?

What’s the deal Bigtimer? Don’t you remember reading about the brave muslim women that fought the British in 1776?

  2. It began before Jefferson was president. He was then the American ambassador to France, and he was disturbed by what was happening in the Mediterranean. For centuries, the “Barbary Coast Pirates” had been raiding ships passing through the Mediterranean. These were not “pirates” in the sense that we usually think of them. They weren’t rogue agents acting independently. They worked for the governments of the North African countries. They would steal the ship and return to their countries, confiscating the booty aboard the ship, most of which added to the wealth of the Islamic state. They also took the ship’s crew members captive and ransomed the ones they could. Most of that money also went to the Islamic government. The crew who could not be ransomed were sold into slavery.
In addition, these “pirates” randomly raided towns on the coasts of Europe and captured people, bringing them back to North Africa to ransom or sell into slavery. They even came so far as the shores of America to capture settlers, to bring them back to Africa to ransom or sell. They especially prized young women and children who could be used as concubines or made into eunuchs. Over a million Europeans and Americans were sold into slavery during the 200-year reign of the Muslim “Barbary Coast” rulers.
The United States was paying this tribute also. This bothered Jefferson. It just so happened that while he was an ambassador in France, Jefferson met with John Adams (then the American ambassador to Britain) and together the two men met with the ambassador from Tripoli (one of the North African Muslim pirate countries). Jefferson and Adams sat down to talk with this man. They asked him why Tripoli attacked ships. Why attack the United States? They had no previous interactions. Why the hostility? Why did they choose America as an enemy?
The Tripoli Muslim ambassador was very straightforward. He said, basically, “That’s what we do. We are commanded to do so by Allah.” Jefferson later wrote that the Tripoli ambassador told him, “It was written in their Koran that all nations which had not acknowledged the Prophet were sinners, whom it was the right and duty of the faithful to plunder and enslave; and that every mussulman (Muslim) who was slain in this warfare was sure to go to Paradise.”

  3. As an Atheist or maybe better Agnostic I find this disturbing. This is another attempt to destroy the history and culture of Europeans in America. Christianity is an important and indisputable part of Americas past.Wether I believe or not in a higher power or an entity is immaterial the curch exists to pretend otherwise is madness. Libralism is truly a disease.

  6. I don’t think Todd Starnes’ reporting was entirely accurate. It’s clear that the DAR made some revisions for the sake of “freedom of religion” and as expressed in a post today, I’m not happy about them. I’m awaiting comment from people within the organization and will post any clarifications that need to be made. In the meantime, the DAR has posted info. on this topic, including three links to the President General’s blog, at http://www.dar.org/natsociety/.....&hd=n.

    • Thanks for your input and information. – Many of us are waiting for a response from within the organization. I, for one, will very much appreciate for any response you get here.

      Thank you.

Btw…I’ll check out your link as soon as I get done with a few things.

  7. Louis R. McClain says:

The DAR Society no longer represent The True Spirit Of The American Revolution. My Mother and Grand Mother rolled over in their graves for every mention of; GOD, JESUS CHRIST, or CHRISTIAN removal. My Grand Mother was an Eastern Star of the Masons. I wonder if they’re going to remove all symbols of the Masons from all of our government edifices?

    • I surely don’t have the answers to your question…I do know one thing, you aren’t alone regarding your family tree and what they would be doing. – God help us all!

  8. Louis R. McClain says:

If they remove all mention of GOD, JESUS CHRIST, or CHRISTIANITY, when are they going to FORBID mention of allah or muslim dieties?

  9. The slippery slope is everywhere nowadays. All they need is our guns and you will be issued a prayer rug to use daily. As Rush says “The Battle Is The Culture”. Without the Guns we loose our culture…

  10. Guns, god and freedom are the integrated fabric of which America is founded. How is that so hard as elected employee to understand?!?

    Blistered, out!

  13. History is being rewritten. In a generation or less, our countries founding will be a myth, a rumor, nothing more. And those who remember America the way it was will be gone.
