Dudes and dudettes…some of you may recall a story I posted here about Sheriff Clarke back in January. If you missed it, or don’t recall the post you can read it in full here, he minced no words whatsoever! – Well now, Sheriff Clarke had some more to say about Dear Leader, the second amendment, gun control and the possibility of a second American revolution if things keep going the way they are with Dear Leader and his Executive Orders concerning this issue. He also thinks if a second revolution were to take place it would be far worse than our first revolution.

See what you think about all of this. – This is via WND:

Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke is calling proposals to seize firearms unconstitutional and warns of dire consequences if such plans are enacted.

“This is about attacking the Second Amendment, it’s about going after the wrong crowd,” the sheriff told listeners to the Alex Jones show.

Clarke blasted gun-control proposals triggered by presidential executive orders and said he would not enforce unconstitutional laws.

“First of all, to me that would be an act of tyranny,” he told Jones. ‘So the people in Milwaukee County do not have to worry about me enforcing some sort of order that goes out and collects everybody’s handgun, or rifles, or any kind of firearm and makes them turn them in.

“The reason is I don’t want to get shot, because I believe that if somebody tried to enforce something of that magnitude, you would see the second coming of an American Revolution, the likes of which would make the first revolution pale by comparison.”

Clark said attacks on assault rifles miss the target, too.

“This has nothing to do with violence reduction because the type of violence that we’re talking about, that I see on the streets in the Milwaukee area on a daily basis, is not even committed using the weapons that the left is trying to ban.

“They are not using assault rifles, they are not using high capacity magazines, they are not buying their ammo over the Internet. The criminals couldn’t care less about a background check, so that tells me that this is [dis]ingenuous,” he said.

He identified the real problem as the criminals.

“If they were serious about violence reduction, they would get behind me… and join me arm in arm in calling for longer periods of incarceration for repeat career criminals who have demonstrated over and over again that they are going to get a handgun, that they are going to get a firearm and perpetrate violence.”

Clarke also said firearms background checks don’t work. He told Jones the gunman in the Sikh temple shooting in his county a few months ago passed such a check.

“My understanding is the creep in Aurora, Colo., who shot up the theater, also passed a background check.”

The sheriff said: “This isn’t about background checks, of which the overwhelming majority of gun transfers go on anyway. This is about attacking the Second Amendment, it’s about going after the wrong crowd.”

Clarke said the Obama administration’s real target is more government control over society.

“Government control cannot go on as long as people have some sort of ability to say ‘hey wait just a doggone minute’,” he said. “That’s what the government fears, they don’t really fear the criminals, they support the criminals. What they fear is a law-abiding person.”

Clarke said people should realize that a gun grab would be unconstitutional.

“Read the Declaration of Independence, it’s right there where a law-abiding people say ‘enough is enough, you are exerting too much influence in our lives, this is tyrannical and we’re going to stop it,’ that’s what they are worried about.”

There’s more to this report, including some words from another sheriff and what the NRA is doing to fight back…including some of the congress-critters they will be targeting. Click the WND link above to read the rest.

Here’s another excellent report about this subject, Clarke is also here as well. Videos included. – These Four Sheriffs Are Taking a Bold Stand Against Gun Control: ‘An Unarmed Public Is a Tyrant’s Playground

So friends…do you foresee a possible 2nd American Revolution on the way…or not?

  4. I believe the second revolution is coming. Today our country is more divided then ever. We are in a powder keg state. All that is needed a reason. The liberals will lose the fight. Do you think John Kerry is going to be out on the front line fighting lol. The whole reason the second amendment was passed was to prevent the country from becoming ran by a tyrannical leader. The first revolution was started on April 19 with the battle of Concorde. The English came for the guns of the people. Be prepared my fellow patriots for it will soon be among us.

I think you’re right. I’ve been seeing this for quite some time now, and everything seems to point to some sort of revolutionary conflict or, at least, a great secession. I hope I’m wrong and things don’t have to revert to bloodshed with American fighting American, but we are living in different times now and the government has so clearly spread itself beyond its Constitutional limits. The government, with the help of both the Democrats and Republicans, has become tyrannical. Americans for too long have been asleep at the wheel. I think many of us are starting to wake up to the sad reality that we have been taken over by a mass of ‘enemies within.’

      God help us!

  9. Here’s a grim prognosis for a post-apocalyptic America – with a dose of dark humor…

Not to worry, you won’t need the money because there will be no food in the stores to buy. If you live in the Marxist inner cities like New York City, Washington, DC, Chicago, Detroit, and LA, you will suffer theft, rape, pillage, murder, pain, starvation and cannibalism while waiting for help from Marxist authorities who never come. Well, they might come as they have in the past for conservation purposes, to shoot you as a possible threat or for being worthless to their cause. People who live in the Marxist inner cities should leave now while they can.

    • …and do you think they’ll wake up anytime soon and take heed? – Heck, I say let them stay put. They get what they deserve…they will in the end, one way or the other. Time is all it takes.

      • That wasn’t very nice, BT. Hahaha – you’re right though! I especially liked the part about the authorities arriving to shoot down those who called for help.

          • I’ve got a question for you, and be assured, I am 100% serious. Do you believe Obama selected Biden because he knew he wasn’t right in the head? Maybe as insurance against removal by impeachment or other means? I don’t think Joe could really be described as stupid, but more along the lines of a rather dull pathological liar. Any way you slice it, he’s a world-class turd.

            (0)
          • Snake…I just don’t know the answer to that. One things a fact…we’ll never see Dear Leader impeached, most likely by any other means as well, unless it was for a health reason. But even if O should unexpectedly meet his maker…it would be Biden as prez. And I hate to say it…but I’d rather have that dunderhead as prez any-day than I would one of our greatest enemies within that holds the power on ‘We the People.’

          • Please keep in mind that Obama is just a front man for a very foul group. After reading some of his unscripted comments from the past I firmly believe that is not very smart. Mainly he can talk s@#$ and be black. He may really believe in the Marxism he has been trained in but the people who are controlling him really don’t give a rats rear about anything but power (for themselves). If he is there four more years or removed tomorrow nothing changes as long as the same people own the same politicians. The French had it a solution at one time.

  13. BT,

Thanks for the post. Agree with the sheriff when he said he doesn’t want to get shot trying to take someones gun away… plus it would be unconstitutional.

My four best friends are outstanding citizens and they say the same as I… come for my gun and someone will die on that day.

    • You and your friends aren’t alone by any means. – Plus, I agree with him about a Second American Revolution being on the stew pot…getting ready to boil over if much more happens regarding this issue. Others as well.

The steam vent is no longer going to help that pot that is no longer simmering.

          • I’m going off on another wild-goose chase, so maybe it can be kept brief. Russia is changing – it might just be possible that within a few years the Russian people will be freer than their American counterparts. They still have a long way to go, but considering their history, they have made great strides. Real freedom has only existed there since 1991, when the communist regime finally gave up the ghost. Autocratic rule until 1917, serfs were freed in 1861 – if you can call what they were released into freedom. But for a brief period of about nine months in 1918, their constitution made the country the freest on earth. Then the Lenin-Trotsky mob wrecked everything. The civil war after the revolution killed anywhere from seven to ten million people. Millions more starved to death in the Ukrainian terror famines. Millions more killed in WW2. Then, the Cold War. And finally the big collapse. You might be hard pressed to find a people that have suffered more. Maybe the biggest challenge was recovering from the psychological damage done to them by Marxist Leninism and the gangster subculture that it created – which is still prevalent to this day. Maybe I am overly optimistic, but these people should not be our enemies. At the critical point in time in 1991, when communist hard-liners were attempting a coup, these events transpired. Check the words of Konstantin Truyevtsev:

When the coup plotters sat down to plan the storming of the White House they found that too many commanders in the army and KGB refused to carry out their orders.

The plotters were undermined by their own indecision and incompetence, but the main reason the coup failed was the swelling number of people who came to defend the newly elected president of Russia and the freedoms he promised. Any attempt to storm the building would have led to bloodshed.

“We came first of all to defend our government,” said Konstantin Truyevtsev, an academic who was among those manning the makeshift barricades around the White House. “For me personally it was for the first time in my country that I had the possibility to choose my government and then these miserable people tried to take it away. So, I went to defend my rights more than anything else.”

The coup collapsed on Aug. 22 and Gorbachev returned to Moscow, but power had shifted to Yeltsin. On Dec. 8, he and the leaders of Ukraine and Belarus, with Burbulis co-signing for Russia, dissolved the Soviet Union.

“A revolution is a mixture of spontaneous events and of what you and other people do yourselves,” Truyevtsev said. “It is very dramatic.”

It’s difficult to not at least feel something when reading that. They want what we used to have. I hope they get there.

            (0)
          • …and where are we going in this country as a whole, where are we at now in this point of life? – I don’t know Snake…I fear what I feel deep in my bones about the direction we are being forced to take from those we keep in the money monthly via their paychecks…while we suffer out here. How many more cuts can one make in their budgets and still make it house and home?

  15. I feel your pain but think of this. if this was to happen it would not be like in 1860. there are no clear lines no clear enemy. after a couple of years our southern borders would be overrun like never before and the western border would also be over run. israel which I know some dont care about wouldnt stand a chance. christians would be slaughered like in early rome the best way is to get a message that the world is better when other ideas are in place.

    (0)
    • Just out of curiosity, what other ideas would you have in place regarding this scenario?

      (0)
    • I would be inclined to agree, at least in principle. Problem is, alternatives were available in:

      Russia – 1917-18
      Germany – 1933
      China – 1949
      Cambodia – 1975

And these are just the most egregious and well-known. Unless you have a vigilant, well-informed population, even the most sound of ideas have little chance of taking root.

  18. conservative ideas it still takes massive amounts of money and a team of oj style lawyers but fight them,n the court system and restore the constitution. madison v marbury if its against the constitution it can not be law. it will take as many years to turn back around but freedom and liberty trump dictatorship and socialism any day I thought under regan when I was in high school that I was really free un till I grew up and realized freedom was gone long before then. really we need to pick our battles. like if the libs stop killing unborn children we will stop putting to death mass murders. it cost to much in trial laywers cheaper to feed them. make marijuana legal and put money in to fighting hard stuff. and rehab. make going against constitution federal crime. we have to show people we are for them. habitat for humanity and community help not set up by government but by the people.
