Madison-Root

This story should be a major wake-up call, but you have to wonder if it is anymore these days!

Dudes and dudettes, meet Madison Root. While I have a strong hunch the majority of you out there have heard about her by now, some of you may not have. See what you think about the trials and tribulations wrought on this young girl, (among others) via Big Brother’s stronghold on this nation in state after state across this land with their ridiculous, never-ending, mind-blowing rules and regulations. The damage is two-fold in more ways than one..no doubt about that fact!

And folks, you can be sure there are tons more to come via the O-Team before their reign in power is over! Tell me how this type of control doesn’t puts us all through the wringer one way or the other each and every single day we survive this morass of these mind-numbing marxists in meddling blue states like hers!

Nothing like slow strangulation! – Give me liberty or give me death comes to mind!

But I digress, just in case you case you haven’t heard about this feisty young go-getter yet, you will now! Folks, see if her attitude about work ethics give you hope for the future survival of our nation long after some of us are gone. Kudos to her parents for her upbringing as well.

This is via Bizpac Review:

The plucky 11-year-old Oregon girl who was kicked out of the Portland Saturday Market for selling mistletoe without a license made an appearance on “The Kelly File” Wednesday night and totally won over the Fox News host, Megyn Kelly.

Amazingly, Madison Root was told she couldn’t sell her hand-cut and packaged holiday favorite, but she was free to beg.

Kelly asked her what made her so upset when she was forced to stop selling.

“What made me so mad was that he said I could beg, but I couldn’t work hard and sell,” she replied. “What has society come to — teaching these kids that it’s okay to beg instead of work hard and sell?”

“How old are you?” Kelly asked. When Madison replied that she was 11, Kelly said, “Incredible — going on 30, and the next President of the United States in 25 years.”

At the close of the interview, Kelly predicted, “I see great things for you in your future, Hon.”

Madison beamed at this, exposing her top row of new braces.

When Glenn Beck heard Madison’s story, he set her up to sell her items through his website, and she sold out in an hour. She’s working feverishly to put together another 1,000.

What has this society come to?” – Listen below:

  1. Yet another embarrassing story from my home state. I don’t think there is any sanity left here in the Northwest. Kudos to Kelly for making this a national story and to Beck for helping her out.

  2. Jack Daniels says:

Obviously this poor child has not been properly educated in victicratism.

So, all her family and those around her are entrepreneurs eh? Well little girl, I’m sure that this annoys the hell of the IRS, so they can probably expect audits for Christmas.

That’ll teach you to hold on to your ethics of hard work.

……….After reading my comment before posting, I thought the real sad thing here is I was obviously being sarcastic…..but I wouldn’t put it pass this administration to look into her family’s businesses.

    • the truth is often spoken in jest… wouldn’t surprise me if this young lady was on the domestic terrorist watch list now. The last thing this administration wants is independent spirit in the populous.. democrats believe that dependents make the best voters and everyone else is the enemy

Obviously the IRS is a tool of this administration used to punish its enemies… imagine the outrage if GW would have pulled these shenanigans.. demands for impeachment would cycle 24/7/365

    • JD…

I wouldn’t put it pass this administration either. I bet they’ve already done it.

  3. She gives me hope and she makes me smile. I have always gone my own way, money is just to easy to come buy. Unlike what we are forced to believe. what kind of a POS would tell a child to beg, they should have said…kid go take over the world. Must have been a freakin commie.

  5. The FBI can spy on you through the camera on your laptop or your phone, without you knowing about it.

  6. The powers that be do not want anyone disrupting the status quo. This girl is guilty of the crimes of making the freeloaders in Porkland OR not only look bad, but also feel bad, of thumbing her nose at the Ovomit Administration by refusing handouts, and the ultimate crime of going against the cradle to grave entitlement mentality.

  7. Don’t worry, one way or another, she will pay in life. The libs will make sure that this girl will be tarnished, audited, investigated, boycotted…hell, maybe even one day tried. You don’t embarrass or challenge an African dictator or his ilk, no matter how old you are.

  8. Security guard at a public park, that in itself implies serious problems.

This was a great lesson for Madison root, she learned how an over regulated economy is not conducive to free enterprise.

She was instructed about the benefits of begging by the security guard, and now that the city manager and mayor are looking into it, I’m sure her next lesson will be the proper application of bribes.

  10. As I’m sure everyone here has asked at one point or another: “What has our world come to?”

  11. That’s what I hate the most about liberalism/communism in America now. Kids can’t just be kids and have fun or think for themselves anymore, like we did when we were young. Now some idiot has to get involved and put a stop to it.

    • Speaking of which, this is a good article.

      • Good article BT. That’s exactly what I’m talking about. Let kids be kids.

        • Exactly. Did you happen to hear about that little boy that was suspended or something like that for pretending to shoot an arrow at school. This has to stop…imagination is what makes the brain work etc.

          • I didn’t hear about that one but I know when liberals are involved they always stop any fun or enjoyment a kid might have.

          • Btw…how are your Colts doing today?

I’ve been really busy all days so far, trying to figure out why our water isn’t running. Heater has been going under the house during this cold snap, yet no water. Too weird. Wished my husband wasn’t in ND right now. I’ve tried everything I can think of to do during times like this, including being under the house twice. Guess I’ll be patient for awhile and see what happens.

          • Colts 7 Bengals 21 at the beginning of the third quarter. Sorry you’re having problems with the water.

          • Well BT the Colts and the Seahawks lost but the Chargers and the Broncos kicked butt. Yay for the Chargers, they needed a win. I almost forgot did you get your water back on?

            (0)
          • I heard about the games. Watched the Seahawks lose.

And NO…we have no water. It’s going to be hell around here for the next few days. I fear our pump may have went out. Will have to get someone out here in the next few days to help me. Went under the house twice more, can’t find anything wrong.

Gawd, if it’s the pump, it will cost an arm and a leg. Plus, we are in this deep freeze big time, have been for a week or so, still more to go. What a nightmare, especially with my main man gone.

Btw…thanks for the info about the Broncos and Chargers. At least something good happened today.

          • Plus a new NFL record for field goal distance was set during the game that broke record set in 70.

          • I saw that replay during a wrap-up of games segment. Something else!

          • I remember watching the original record being set…eons ago.
