Once again Trey Gowdy takes on Dear Leader, as always he minced nary a word either! – And once again Trey Gowdy comes out the winner in the long run to-boot!

See what happened on the floor of the House today when it comes to this matter, then speak your mind.

Also, Gowdy was on with Greta Van Susteren tonight as well talking about this relevant issue. Of course what passed in the House today will be thrown in the trash bin of history via senate majority leader Dingy Harry. Still, this should matter to each and every one of us…especially if we take the senate come November!
Here’s the first report:

Ignoring President Barack Obama’s veto threat, the House voted on Wednesday for a bill that would expedite congressional lawsuits against the chief executive for failure to enforce federal laws.

The vote was 233-181 in the Republican-led House as GOP lawmakers excoriated Obama for multiple changes to his 4-year-old health care law, steps he’s taken to allow young immigrants to remain in the United States and the administration’s resistance to defend the federal law banning gay marriage.

Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., sponsor of the ENFORCE the Law Act, delivered a fiery speech and read a series of statements by Obama when he was an Illinois senator in which he warned of the encroachment of the executive on the powers of the other branches of government.

“How does going from being a senator to a president rewrite the Constitution?” Gowdy asked. “What’s different from when he was a senator? Mr. Speaker, I don’t think there’s an amendment to the Constitution that I’ve missed. I try to keep up with those with regularity.”

Gowdy went on to argue that “process matters” in law enforcement, noting that evidence gathered with a legitimate search warrant is thrown out if an officer so much as accidentally checks the wrong box on the application.

“Even though he was well-intended, even though he had good motivations, even though he got the evidence — because process matters,” he added.

“We all swore an allegiance to the same document that the president swears allegiance to, to faithfully execute the law,” Gowdy continued. “If a president does not faithfully execute the law… what are our remedies?”

He then argued that Congress should do exactly what then-Sen. Obama suggested before he was president of the United States: “To go to the Supreme Court and have the Supreme Court say once and for all: ‘We don’t pass suggestions in this body. … We don’t pass ideas — we pass laws. And we expect them to be faithfully executed.”

Watch the amazing speech here..it’s not to be missed!:

Here’s a bit more from this report, I hope you read all of this too, it’s an excellent article!:

Arguing that Obama should agree with the legislation, Gowdy gave a “pop quiz” on the House floor prior to the vote.

“That may seem unfair to my colleagues on the other side of the aisle, but I’m going to give them a hint,” he said. “The answer to every one of the questions is the same.”

“I’m going to read a quote and then you tell me who said it,” Gowdy said. “‘These last few years we’ve seen an unacceptable abuse of power having a president whose priority is expanding his own power.’ Any guess on who said that? Mr. Speaker, it was Sen. Barack Obama.”

“Here’s another one: ‘No law can give Congress a backbone if it refuses to stand up as a coequal branch the Constitution made it.’”

“’I taught the Constitution for 10 years, I believe in the Constitution,’” Gowdy again quoted then-Sen. Obama.

“So my question Mr. Speaker is what’s changed?” Gowdy asked. “How does going from being a senator to a president rewrite the constitution? What’s different from when he was a senator?”

Now, listen to Gowdy tonight on Fox with Greta Van Susteren:

You need to check this out as well. It has to do with the same bill and illegal immigration…plus throw in a video of Up-Chuck Schumer talking about this matter last Sunday too:

How do you like that petard, Mr. 0bama?

  2. A couple months ago, I commented at another site that I’d love to see Gowdy’s name on the ticket in 2016, either Prez or Vice Prez. Got a response to that by someone from SC who had reservations about Gowdy, intimating that he isn’t as conservative as he appears. Now, I have no idea if this is true or not and would be terribly disappointed if he’s just another RINO. Personally, virtually every single thing I’ve read or seen of this guy just makes me wanna stand up, clap, and cheer. And I’d love to see him debate ANYONE on the Dem side, including Shrillary. He could make mincemeat of Preezy Jugears, too. Gowdy is a brilliant communicator and legal mind. Still love the guy despite that aforementioned naysayer from SC. Now if he’d just spring the trap on Lois Lerner…. :)

    • Good morning Vix…

Hmm..did that poster, or friend of yours have an example of what he or she meant by that, how he really isn’t as conservative as he appears?

Anyway, so far I really love Gowdy…he brings out the same emotions in me that you so aptly described. That floor speech is priceless as far as I’m concerned.

Btw…I wouldn’t mind seeing him on the ticket either.

      • Biggie,
The SC person who commented was not someone I knew. Here is his comment:

“Beware of Gowdy. As a SCer, I have watched in growing horror as the man speaks out of both sides of his mouth. He’s borrowed the Graham playbook, where he acts only during election season and panders the rest of the time. There’re some people in SC trying to bring him to his senses, but until then, don’t place your hopes on him. He’s set to be another Ryan herring.”

Maybe this commenter was just a troll trying to sow discord? I dunno……

        • Interesting. All I know is Gowdy ain’t anything like Little Lindsey…not even close.

Thanks for your response my friend….much appreciated.

      • Hi, Buddy, Kudos to Gowdy! Do we finally have someone with a “set” to bring this dictator down?

  3. You always find awesome articles, BT! Thanks for the good news!

  5. Dr Poontang says:

Hey Obutthole, how’s it feel to know that you basically just got bitch-slapped by Trey Gowdy?

Good for Trey. He is trying his damndest to fight the good fight. I say “Trey, let em swing! Use those twin wrecking balls you have to demolish that stupid smug smile from that prick’s face.”

  6. So glad to hear Mark Levin talk about this subject…while I get the chance to that it is.

Btw…I have to leave pretty soon, if anyone sees JMV later, please tell him I hope he’s having a great B-Day!

  7. Too bad there isn’t a sport called ‘Ass-chewin’ where two people square up WWF style and hand out dressings down, and well deserved ‘Ass Chewin’s’, perfecting the sword play of oratory arts.
Trey Goudy could tag team with R Lee Ermy, and they could go up against Schultz and Matthews and berate them until they cry.
I would pay money to see that.

    • Lol…that would be fun to watch. Heck, with a team like that there would be crying by both Shultz and Matthews in under two minutes.

  8. You cant be serious, Expect the Democrats to Fathfully execute a VOW to UPHOLD the Constitution.

  9. Enforce the Law ACT? Really? We are in trouble if we think that this is as good as it sounds.
1)A Constitutional job of Congress is to impeach certain evil doers in federal office.
2)Congress holds the “power of the purse”. Defund the laundry list of unconstitutional administrative agencies today.
Just do your job, Congress. Read the Constitution for your job description. Do not pass one more law without the guidance in Liberty that it provides in the limitations of federal power.

OK. I just asked the cat that ate the canary— to not eat the canary. The canary is gone. Enforce the Law ACT will not bring back what has been killed, chewed, and digested by this administration–But it does make for good speech fodder and media attention.

    • Crusading Conservative says:

Spot on. We have to pass a law that requires the president to enforce a law?? I’m fairly certain that is clearly stated in a document I’ve heard about … the constitution?? He’s already breaking the law by not enforcing whatever law he’s currently not enforcing – this Enforce the Law Act is supposed to rein this guy in? Not likely … and there’s hardly anyone in congress who would call him on it when he doesn’t! All it will do is create another law he won’t enforce. And we already have too many of those as it is.

  10. when is enough going to be enough…..we’ve finally had it with you…….when will Obongo’s flaunting of the law and the Constitution going to be addressed by the House Republcian leadership…………..well as far as I can see the answer to that question is “”never””………………

Obongo is going to run rough-shad over the congress and make them look like the fools they are….or make them look like the weaklings they are…..one or the other or both…………….

Obongo has committed so many offenses against the American electorate, congress, and the constitution to justify impeachment many times over………………..I for one have had enough of this lying-ass motha-fu@kkkka…….enough……I fed up to my eye balls with this bastard………

Trey Gowdy and a few others actually know what is happening…..that we are losing our country…..and still the repubs sit on their thumbs and twirl…………things are so bad now that we may never be able to get the country back short of armed insurrection…………

anyone who will stand up to Obongo and his lawlessness is ok in my book……at least there are a few who will call Obongo out and call a spade a spade……………….

get rid of Obongo now…………impeach this lawless piece-of-sh!t……………so what if he’s black……impeach his white half…………..just get rid of him……..

    • I’m with ya Bluto. And to think, he has a few more years to destroy this nation some more. You see something new everyday he’s doing unilaterally.

Under Obama’s NDAA 2014 American Citizen’s HAVE NO RIGHT TO DUE PROCESS.

  12. BT has developed a dislike for me, but Ted Cruz/Trey Gowdy in 2016

  13. Anyone who says negative things about Trey Gowdy, is running with their tails between their legs. Truth hurts people, but remember the truth will set you free.
I am 100% a NJ Gowdy Girl, would vote for him as President in a nano second, but the again he would make a Great Attorney General. America needs this man to set this country in the right direction.
