Paybacks might be hell!

Short, sweet and to the point.

Dudes and dudettes, see if you think this plan by a pair of congress-critters could be the cat’s meow or not. Louie Gohmert and Bill Flores, both Texans, could reap the rewards we need to retrieve Lois Lerner’s emails. Trust me folks, this is rich in more ways than one…I kid you not.

Check out this report and chew on it for a bit:

Former Obama IRS minion, Lois Lerner, “mysteriously” lost 27 months of emails just ten days after learning about being investigated in the Obamagate scandal in which American’s First Amendment rights were thrashed.

Obama IRS Commissioner John Koskinen made the ridiculous claim that a $4 billion budget was so ‘bare bones’ that the tyrannical agency didn’t have enough money to either back up and/or retrieve Lerner’s emails.

A recent poll indicates even Democrats believe that the Obama IRS intentionally destroyed Lois Lerner’s emails in the coverup.

Now, two congressman from Texas, Louie Gohmert and Bill Flores have introduced legislation that would award anyone who could recover Lerner’s supposedly “lost” emails.

Additionally, the bill introduced by the congressmen would provide $500,000 for pertinent information regarding the destruction of her emails.

Perhaps even more important in getting to the bottom of the scandal, H.R. 4958, cleverly named the Identify and Recover Sent (Get it?…I.R.S.) Emails Act would also cut IRS employees income by 20% until the emails have been recovered.

Congressman Gohmert said of the “IRS” bill:

“It seems that each time the IRS has evidence that will either prove with certainty its guilt or innocence, the evidence disappears, which both common sense and the law indicate, the evidence such as emails must have proved the IRS’s impropriety if not outright crimes. It is time the IRS either comes clean, or has a special prosecutor to clean it up. This bill should help in the interim.”

Representative Bill Flores said that Congress (assuming he means Republicans, as Democrats have acted like Obama’s defense attorneys) “won’t sit idly by as the IRS continues to cover up its blatant abuse of government power.”

“I find it very hard to believe that the emails from Lois Lerner are lost and unrecoverable. It is very convenient that the IRS is unable to turn over any of the communications from the central figure responsible for the inappropriate targeting of conservative groups. We will not sit idly by as the IRS continues to work to cover up its blatant abuse of government power.”

Listen below: – He includes the ‘Injustice Dept.’ and Eric ‘Held in Contempt‘ Holder too.

This is also what’s included in the video: All reward money would be taken from the budget of the IRS. In addition, the bill would cut all IRS salaries by 20 percent until the Lerner emails are found.

For once, this may be money well spent via Capitol Hill…especially if ‘We the People’ are enriched when all is said done!

  1. Good idea, but I don’t think that the IRS will allow anyone who is not part of the IRS access to either their computers or servers. If they won’t produce the emails at the order of congress, why would they allow some citizen access to their network. Guaranteed they will claim privacy or something just as asinine.

      To reiterate…

Meanwhile, Obama is out there telling the rubes in flyover country that all of his many scandals and policy failures are phony, but man-made global warming is real.

If he says so, that ‘s it.

      (3)
      • He’s truly insane.

It might be instructive if someone were to point out who stands to gain financially from the whole global warming/climate change industry. Follow the money – always follow the money. It’s science! Let’s shut down every Mexican restaurant and eatery in the country – too much flatus is being produced due to consumption of all those refried beans. Or maybe just levy a fart tax, instead.

          (2)
          • Heck, aren’t they close enough now…after-all, they want to, or do tax cow and sheep farts. Of course we pay for this in the long run.

Btw…your point is right on the mark.

What the uber-wealthy leftists just don’t have the candor to admit is that they would much prefer a world where only possibly a few thousand people would be worthy enough to exist. Which got me to thinking about something I heard a while back. I know, it sounds about like the plot from the Terminator movies, but it was told in a manner that was hard-core serious. Within the next fifty or so years, computers will have become powerful enough that achieve self-realization, decide humankind is superfluous and dangerous, and then you-know-what. Just a thought.

            (1)
          • Unfortunately, I don’t doubt that. Glad I won’t be around to see it happen,. Spooky enough many doctors and hospitals etc are tracking our every move now. You know, so they can decide what we do is bad for our health in every day live.

Don’t have a link, but I think you know what I’m talking about.

            One quick excerpt:

In 10/20/30/40/50 years or “by the end of the century”…..the world could be as much as 50 to 100 feet underwater.

The strawman argument plays big. “And all this warming is caused by the use of fossil fuels”.

Question: Why was the Jurassic period so much warmer than now? Was it all the coal and oil the dinosaurs burned to heat their homes and drive their SUV’s?

Why did the earth get dramatically cooler, so that glaciers came down as far as Pennsylvania over several periods of time in Earth’s history? Was it because previously unknown humans elected to stop using electricity?

The climate changes. It gets warmer, it gets cooler over the span of many millenia.

          • Think back a couple of years -there was a serious attempt to levy a tax on cattle because their flatuance was contributing to global warming. The idea is still being tossed around .

I’ve got one for the smokers and drinkers…

If your Doctor asks you about your tobacco and/or alcohol purchases just tell the Doctor you are stocking up on supplies to barter with after the collapse of a Democratically run economy.

Then advise the Doctor to stock up himself. That will get him thinking.

This story cracks me up. The B&tch needs to go jail. She lives in a $2.4M house. She can’t make over $200k/year

If I ever get the IRS up my @ss I will refuse to cooperate. I will make them take me to the limit. I will tell them I scanned all my receipts and you can’t believe my hard drive F***ING crashed and I want a trial and the first witness I will call (as a witness) the head of the IRS to discuss hard drive crashes and backups. I will request a jury trial. I might lose but sometimes you need to make a F***ING point.

I will also refuse any request for documentation for my contributions to political groups since it will be used against me. I will only show the documentation to a REAL non-IRS judge.

I will be a total b&tch and if I go to jail then I could use the rest, FREE food and FREE medical care.

I currently pay $18k per year for medical insurance (I’m in business) so I would save some money!

I have owned computers for over 25 years. I have had a computer at work longer than that. I believe I have had one hard-drive in all those years.

The very first hard drive I had was 20megs. The first modem was rated at 1200 baud.

The whole story stinks and this administration lying about the emails just shows how little respect they have for our intelligence and our (and congress) resolve to doing anything about it!

Let’s face it, we can’t count on congress and the GOP leaders (Boehner & McConnell) to do anything because they are part of the democratic party. They create some issues that divide the dems and the demlites to raise money so that they can campaign.

Barack is out campaigning and blaming the GOP for all the problems (so that the dems can raise money to ousts the GOP). The GOP sits on their hands. Why don’t they throw a negative 2.9% decline in the GDP for the 1st quarter. Why don’t they blame Obamacare for the decline?

Why don’t they say Barack “the constitutional expert” Obama just got PUNKed by the SC 9-0?

I read yesterday a NYT editorial that said the SC was wrong. Don’t ask me why I read it. It is the last NYT piece I read, along with the Paul Krugman and E. J. Dionne.

  5. I just heard on Fox that Koskinen is now saying Lerner’s emails should be retrieved by the end of next week. Anyone believe that?

Btw…mighty funny this was said the day after Gohmert’s million dollar reward was put out.

    (0)
    • Interesting, after swearing up and down, under oath no less, that the emails are gone for good, now they say they will give them up. I wonder if anyone will do time for perjury? I also wonder how badly they will be redacted, and if the actual incriminating emails will show up.

    • BT, I say get rid of IRS completely! It is a Gestapo type agency that is way too powerful and is an oxymoron to freedom and liberty.
It needs to be replaced with the fair tax system and let their 90 thousand employees go out and compete for an honest job like the rest of us have too.

      (0)

I couldn’t agree with you more! Millions of others of us do too.

  10. I like the reward idea…..it should get someone to come out of the shadows and turn on these bastards at the IRS and white house………I don’t know that the bill also included a 20% reduction in pay…..that’s great……..

no matter how much money is offered to get Lois’s emails, Obongo’s attack dog, Holder, will not appoint a special prosecutor…..he will go down in flames before he appoints one…….literally go down in flames before he gives up his buddy Obongo………

Beohener has to appoint a special house prosecutor, a special committee to investigate and use the power of subpoena and put everyone under oath to prosecute and get anyone who will lie under oath………I don’t see any other way……maybe there is another way but I’m not aware of it……..I for the life of me don’t understand what the hell is Boehner waiting for…..go after these bastards……we finally got them on the run and Boehner sits on his ass…………..

this is the most egregious corruption in my life-time…..far greater than water-gate ever thought of being…….

    (0)
    • Under Holder, a special prosecutor is a bad idea in my opinion. I want a special committee for the time being…at least it will get the ball rolling big time.

      • I agree that Holder should be kept out of the entire process…..his hands are as dirty as the dirt around a septic tank…….and smell just as bad………if it were up to him he would appoint Elijah Cummings as the special prosecutor so Holder has to be kept out at all costs…….

I’m not surprised that DoJ is in this up to their eye-balls…….without a doubt they are complicit…….I would think there is a fire sale going on in the DoJ to lose/destroy any and all emails they have as well……after-all they’re a bunch of crimminals as well and need to be thorughly investigated……

if we get the right people in who will “”do the job”” we got these bastards …….we got em………

    • Bachmann nailed it to the wall…and then some!

      (0)
    • It will take a Special Prosecutor and nothing less as the DOJ is tied into this and they can’t be looking legally into it. Only a SP will do, with a free hand. An unquenchable fuse has been lit.

      (0)
      • michael…

Holder names the special prosecutor. – That alone scares the hell out of me.

        (0)
        • Since his DOJ and the FBI are involved they have to remove themselves from a SP as they will be investigated. Holder could resign and a new AT could appoint a SP, but legally Holder is involved with the potential illegalities as is the FBI. The whole thing rests on how dogged the Repos are. Remember NSA has dossiers on all of Congress. They and theirs are pulling the strings.

          (0)
          • We’ll see what happens on down the line. But the FBI hasn’t exactly been any help to the truth, in fact they’ve defended and protected this administration so far. And who will replace Holder….do you really think he’ll be any different than Holder and his ideology?

One things for sure…time will tell. Still, until then, we need a special committee to delve into this ..in my humble opinion. – Just my quick two cents.

Btw…don’t get me wrong, your points are well taken by me.
