KEEPIN' IT REAL WITH DALLAS ISD!
The Angry White Dude is always satisfied to see his tax dollars at work in education our youth! Especially in the case of rapper (scientific name: rapperious felonius negroidus) Gorilla Zoe being hired to speak to the utes of Pearl C. Anderson Middle Learning Center in Dallas this week. Pearl Anderson’s student population is 75% black and 25% Hispanic. In his rap songs, Zoe raps about taking drugs, violence, drinking, while using profanity and the N word profusely. Each of the “chirren” at the Pearl fa-ci-li-tay was given a poster of Gorilla Zoe smoking, drinking and in possession of a gun while sitting in front of a huge pile of money. You know, the usual message of rap role models for black kids.
The Dallas ISD is a disaster zone. Like many inner-city ISD’s it is rife with corruption and each superintendent hired seems to leave the ISD in a worse condition than they found it…if possible. In the case of Gorilla Zoe, one must question the judgment of a principal who invites a rapper thug speak to young children and leave them with distasteful posters. What principal would think this is in the best interest of the children? The answer is probably most Dallas ISD principals! Instead of teaching civics and reading books that educate the mind, modern day education has turned into a politically correct mishmash of anti-American crap. Children are forced to read books by racist Malcolm X instead of books by our founding fathers. They study the marvels of multi-culturism without learning that this country was founded and has succeeded as a melting pot for all to be Americans! They study leftist Maya Angelou instead of the undeniable truths of Ayn Rand’s Atlas Shrugged. I challenge you to read Angelou and Rand and see which holds more value!
Principal Benita Noiel-Ashford of Pearl C. Anderson Middle Learning Center should immediately resign or be terminated for inviting this rapper fool to speak to her kids. Young black children need and deserve better examples than thug rappers and professional athletes. Ignorance perpetuates ignorance!

FunnyGirl is absolutely right. Bill Cosby speaks the truth regarding the problems within the black community but he is hissed and booed for his message. Blacks don’t want to hear it from whites, they don’t want to hear it from blacks either. Who are they going to listen to? What’s it going to take to get the message to sink in?
I think of those kids in DISD, many with little direction at home, in need of structure and discipline and education. You’d think a safe place for these kids would be school with teachers and principals who cared for and encouraged them to reach for the stars. Yeah, now there’s a fairy tale. LBJ’s “Great Society” experiment was a failure in every sense. Black Americans were making progress economically and socially, despite the problems with Jim Crow (which was being dismantled), right up to the time he decided to just push the money at people who wanted to fornicate without paying child support. It all went downhill from there.
And there are similar trends among whites and Hispanics too. Getting down in the dirt is an equal opportunity calling, with no racial divides that I can see.

Sigh…I came across your site while looking for a quote (positive) about having White ancestry, from May Angelou – (who I have to agree is “over-exposed” for the talent level (I’ll be tactful – we Canadians of whatever shade are known for our politeness). I saw this sad news on who is being invited to a SCHOOL (!) to “speak” to students…you are RIGHT – this principle should be fired.
My ancestors are 8th generation Afro-Canadians from the southern Gulf Islands, B.C. I am SO GLAD to be Canadian…that aside, I’m sickened by the reach of this so-called “black culture” (GIVE ME A BREAK) – Violence, talking like you have marbles in “yo mouf” and a pea for a brain, mistreating women, braggadoccio, greed, turning on each other, being hyper-sexed, being turned on by bad poetry….these things are not “Black” (or White or Asian…or Native First Nations…or whoever!) I think you will find the vast majority of Black people think these rappers are the abject fools they are.
And by the way 9lest I misunderstood) – when I say I’m “proud’ to be a Black Canadian” – I hope you are proud to be a White american (or whomever/whatever you identify as). Sadly, it seems that some White (Americans) think that if you are Black and “proud” that you are being exclusionist or racist against White people. For me, anyway, nothing could be further from the truth; I just mean it as being self-confident, having self-esteem for the ancestry I was born with and the nationality I was born into – nothing much deeper than that – and I think it is a sign of good mental health to be “proud” of being White (or Black or Mixed, etc. etc.)
And – speaking of being “Mixed” – does anyone else out there notice? Barack Obama is not “Black” – he is “Mixed” – a “Hybrid” like his (half-Asian/White sister) and is married to a Black woman. It always bugs me that the U.S. in particular seems to have to polarize everyone into “one or the other” (such as that silly “one drop” idea – it’s NUTS to have blue-eyed, blonde-haired people with a little “Black” ancestry or like the Mariah Careys and Derek Jeters being called “Black” or calling themselves Black…I hate to say it, but with M.C. it’s like a way to get the Most Attention, and be in an exclusive club without having to experience the true racism she claims to have experienced – I’m not her, but is it just me or would others never know she’s “Black” if she didn’t SAY “I’m Black!”? Don’t get me wrong, just because it’s got lots better, does not mean terrible scourges like the KKK don’t exist and do evils still – but, I agree that having a misogynistic, vile, violent thug “speak” to middle-school students is evil-doing that promotes internalized race-hatred and “reverse-racism” (what I mean is : making Black inner city people out to {unfairly} be portrayed as total idiots who hate themselves and each other and think “success” is to “stick it to Whitey” by throwing around “ho’s 7 gold chains” as if on some MAD TV skit!
