TWO WORDS NEWT - SHUT THE #@*& UP!
It is time for Great American RINO Newt Gingrich to go away. Once and for all. We all know that won’t happen as long as there is a television camera and electricity. Seems he always has a book to sell. I think Newt writes a book every time he gets on a plane. For some reason, they love this RINO waste of space on Fox. But the mainstream media scum love him because he is a RINO. Like Juan McPain and the ridiculous Colin Powell, Powell seems to be drawn to keeping the Republican party a bunch of unprincipled, rudderless morons! Asked today by the leftist buffoon Harry Smith on CBS’s Disgrace The Nation how the Republican Party should deal with conservatives who advocate “ideological purity,” Gingrich had simple advice: “You shrug them off. Reagan shrugged them off. My advice is that Colin Powell is a great American, I am proud he is a Republican,” Gingrich went on. “And Dick Cheney is a great American. I am proud he is a Republican. I am glad both of them are Republicans. Interesting that Cheney, the great Republican didn’t have the same feelings himself about great Republican Powell when interviewed last week! I share Cheney’s feelings toward traitor Powell!
A couple of things here. Reagan WAS a conservative. The supreme conservative. The establishment wussypants Republicans wanted Bob Dole in ’76 and George Bush I in ’80. Neither of those have strong conservative principles and untlmately proved themselves to be RINOs. Who does Gingrich think he’s fooling? Gingrich rode Reagan’s coattails to power. What does “ideological purity,” as Gingrich calls it, mean to conservatives? Small government, low taxes, strong military and personal liberty and responsibility. So now Gingrich is telling me that Reagan was not a ideologically pure conservative? Nice try re-writing history but no dice! Gingrich seals his death as a Republican voice by saying he’s proud Colin Powell is a Republican! Do good Republicans campaign for, endorse and vote for DemonRats as Powell did?? Do good Republicans denigrate Rush Limbaugh and other conservative voices as Powell did? Gingrich, if you think Colin Powell is a good Republican you have proven yourself unworthy to have a voice in the Republican Party. If your vision of moderate, big-tent, wishy washy wussypants Republican party is the answer, why is the party in tatters now? Because that is exactly what the Republican party is these days!
Why not write another book? Why not make another global warming commercial with Nancy Pelosi? Why not take another boondoggle trip and hoist a few chilly ones with Hitlery Clintoon? You’ve done all of these recently! But why not keep your big piehole shut about what the Republicans should be. Because they are currently what you espouse and the result has been a total disaster! Hey Newt, I have a title for your next book: Newt Gingrich – The Great American RINO!

I despise Newt and have for over a dozen years, when I used to post that, and my reasons why, at least some people starting learning more about him, others never let go…he is a phony as they come.
Like I have said ad nauseum, he would be a great history college professor, I used to watch his classes love years back, he is great there…and he needs to go there, stay there, and really, really, contribute to this country and it’s future for a change.
But noooo…he’s addicted to self-illusions of grandeur too…
God, these RINOs make me ill.
He is no different than Clintoon or anybody else, with his finger in the wind to see which way the country is turning…just like his Drill here…Drill Now thing, (which he got from me by the way, but I won’t go there), hell, he depends on everyone in this country not to remember his so-called debate with Kerry about Global Warming, oil etc., on C-SPAN, well, I do, and I’m sure there are a handful of others…

I have said this before–I am not 100% in agreement with you on Newt on some issues. I do agree , he is playing the game for Newt and not for America. He can no longer be a standard bearer for the party. He may scorn McCain for “hands across the aisle”,(as I do),but, as entered here earlier–he had better get off the couch with Nancy first.
At oone time, he knew how to feel the pulse of conservatives. He has lost the touch.He is turning old fans like me away. I cannot tell from day to day what his position is. His handlers are, in a way, shouting, ” turn left. no right, no, hit the brake, no, floor it.” Absolutely no true moral direction.
The man I admired was a conservative, a scholar and a patriot. The man I see today is a waffler, trying to come out on top no matter which way the wind blows. “Buy my book and all will be well.”
The only thing left is for him to jump on the amnesty wagon.

Newt Gingrich is a carpetbagging fraud. He just recently converted to Catholicism. Newt is a divorced man. He is re-married. The Catholic faith holds these two instances as mortal sins. I think he is angling for something. I agree 1.000% that he is worthless to our conservative cause. He says one thing one day, then plays another tune the next. Thank the Lord that Rush had him pegged long ago. And thank you AWD.
I like Newt. More power to him. He speaks his mind with no illusions about any ascendance to public office.
There are plenty other RINOs out there available for target practice.
