REST IN PEACE NEDA

It’s hard for AWD to pull for any Iranian on any occasion. My only thoughts of Iranians over the past 30 years have been watching them burning American flags while chanting “Death to America.” I still remember Iran holding American hostages for over one year in 1979 after overtaking our embassy. I can truly say America would have dealt much differently with Iran had President AWD been in office rather than Carter, Bush, Clinton, Bush and now Obama. That being said, it is hard not to pull for the Iranians in the streets protesting the brutal dictators that stole an election. The Iranian people had the guts to take to the streets and many were beaten, killed or imprisoned. We have all seen videos of the savage Muslim hard line gangs beating unarmed protesters. No video is more touching than the video of an Iranian girl named Neda who was assassinated by a snipers bullet in the streets of Tehran. I’m not sure what the protesters ultimately wanted but it is sure not the mullahs in charge for the past 30 years. After watching the brutality of the current ruling regime I can understand why the Iranian people would risk their lives for change.

It makes me think of what may occur in the streets of the United States. As our federal government gets larger and usurps more of our resources and freedoms, there is a distinct possibility of a second American revolution. AWD has no doubt the feds would call in government goons to bring violence against the American people. Think it won’t happen here? Think again! Only look to Waco and Ruby Ridge for evidence where innocents were murdered by government killers. The only difference between us and the Iranians is the Second Amendment. We, the people, will have the means to shoot back. And God bless those wise Founding Fathers who were wise enough to give the right to arms to the American people!

I watch week after week where the present administration makes nation-altering changes in an effort to pass through insane legislation before the people are organized to challenge. We saw it with the $800 billion stimulus bill which was passed without ONE person reading it! We see tomorrow the House is voting on the insane Cap and Trade bill which will vastly increase the cost for energy in America at a time where the national unemployment rate is at 10%. We see the Senate gearing up to ram the Health Care Reform (socialized medicine) down our throats. It is plain to see Obama has an agenda to alter the United States that will forever move us away from the principles that made the USA the greatest and wealthiest country in the world. Are YOU prepared to do what the Iranians did and are doing? Are YOU prepared to do what our Founding Fathers did in committing treason and risking their fortunes and lives? Are YOU prepared to retake your rights as outlined in the Constitution from a bunch of corrupt socialists? Are YOU doing anything about it now?

I pray the day never arrives where we see what happened in Iran in our streets. We must do everything in our power to work within the bounds of the law. But we must also prepare for the worst. We have sat by idly for so long we no longer raise a finger as another of our freedoms is taken! If you are not attending a Tea Party on the 4th of July, I ask you to reconsider. AWD will attend the largest tea party…America’s Tea Party…in Dallas at Southfork Ranch with up to 50,000 freedom loving patriots! We will make our voice heard. We are organizing at the neighborhood level throughout the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex to get middle-class taxpayers off of their couches and active in the political process. It could be the last chance we have for our country and children!
