While watching the responses of union thugs and liberals in general to the town hall meetings taking place since the Congress recess it occurred to me….this is a total power grab by the left. And not a power grab by exchange of ideas or bi-partisanship. This is a power grab by force and will probably get much worse. Obama and his socialists have tried to corner major parts of the US economy. banking, insurance, auto manufacturers, energy and now health care. It is frightening to see how fast our country can move to socialism and how fast our freedoms to live our lives the way WE want can be taken away. It’s almost surreal to read the news every day. I should say the internet because anything on television (with some exception given to Fox) is merely dishonest propaganda from the White House. Thank heavens for the internet!!!
Tea party patriots attending numerous congress critter open houses have alerted the hardcore left that conservatives are fed up and ready for action. Obama and his thugs have called out the ACORN and SEIU (Service Employees International Union) goons to intimidate those attending open houses. SEIU chief Andy Stern said, ““We prefer to use the power of persuasion, but if that doesn’t work we use the persuasion of power.” No, they prefer to win doing whatever it takes to win…including violence. The SEIU is a goon operation that uses underhanded methods to win. One leftard arrested in St. Louis allegedly is an employee of liberal Senator Russ Carnahan. At the same rally, six were arrested for assault and committing peace disturbances. Here is a snippet from the St. Louis Post-Dispatch:
St. Louis County police say six people were arrested. Two of those were arrested on suspicion of assault, one of resisting arrest and three on suspicion of committing peace disturbances. Carnahan was gone when the ruckus started.
Kenneth Gladney, a 38-year-old conservative activist from St. Louis, said he was attacked by some of those arrested as he handed out yellow flags with Don’t tread on me printed on them. He spoke to the Post-Dispatch from the emergency room of the St. John’s Mercy Medical Center, where he said he was waiting to be treated for injuries to his knee, back, elbow, shoulder and face that he suffered in the attack. Gladney, who is black, said one of his attackers, also a black man, used a racial slur against him before the attack started.
It just seems there’s no freedom of speech without being attacked, he said.
Any word from Jackson/Sharpton or the ACLU on this? Where are the cries of the mainstream media for the protection of this man’s freedom of speech? Nancy Pelosi yesterday said protesters against Obamacare were Nazi’s carrying swastikas! Douchebag Harry Reid said, “These are nothing more than destructive efforts to interrupt a debate that we should have, and are having,” Reid said. “They are doing this because they don’t have any better ideas.” Does anyone really take these morons seriously anymore? David Axelrod’s Chief of Staff said, “If you get hit, we will punch back twice as hard.”The last 8 months is nothing more than a complete power grab by Democrats hell bent on controlling America forever. We have seen the same thing in Venezuela over the past several years! They take control of the banks and insurance companies, major industry, energy and health care. Then comes the restrictions on freedom of speech (ever heard of the Fairness Doctrine and turning in your neighbor programs?) and ultimately the gun grab by making ownership of guns illegal. You’d be blind to not see where this is heading!
The next 8 weeks will be the most important for this country in the past 200 years! If Obama Care passes and they are able to pay for it with crushing energy taxes through Cap and Trade, it’s all over unless another revolution begins! The working middle-class citizen is barely able to keep their nose above water and cannot bear any more. This lunacy must be corrected or I’m afraid the American way of life is gone forever. I don’t want to live in the country envisioned by liberal elite masters and won’t. The intimidation by goons associated with the Obama administration taking place now is nothing less than what Hugo Chavez has done to Venezuela. What are YOU willing to do to ensure the liberty your currently enjoy?
