Angry White Dude is in Washington for the big 9-12 march on Saturday. Something very weird happened tonight at the hotel. I’m staying at the Hyatt…the main hotel for the tea party people. Tonight as Mrs. AWD and I were on the escalator leaving the hotel with an old college friend for dinner, who should I spy on the opposite side of the escalator (going down…how appropriate) but Massachusetts DemonRat Barney Frank! I had to do a double take because I couldn’t believe he’d be in the belly of the beast (the Hyatt) with thousands of pissed off tea partiers..but he was! As we passed, he looked at me and I said to him “Cwiminal!” He looked away and kept going. I take that as a sign this is going to be a great weekend!
Open post time! OK, you liberals…it’s time we talk! I am really getting sick of name calling. That is all you do! Every once and a while, we’ll get a lib who can express a thought but they are the great exception. Do they teach you it”s witty to accuse conservatives of being inbred, trailer living, NASCAR loving rednecks at Libtard school? You all do it! Don’t you bleeding hearts campaign against stereotyping? What is wrong with you? Can you not formulate a thought? Take a minute or two and read down the comments. If you find a comment from one of your liberal friends, 9 times out of 10, it will contain nothing more than name calling. I would prefer everyone discuss opinions and ideas instead of calling names. Conservatives tend to leave evidence and well-thought out points in their comments. Not all, but many. Do liberals not have any ideas or opinions at all? Is your ideology that weak? We know it is but I’d rather hear it from you.
So, liberals…have at it. I’d love for you to tell me how I’m wrong. If you’re upset about the Republican calling Obama a liar last night…tough. Were you upset with Democrats when they booed and hissed Bush? Were you upset as your leader called concerned citizens “Nazis, mobs, evil mongers, teabaggers, rednecks,” etc. this summer? Be honest…if that’s possible.
All the rest, open post on what’s going on in the world. I assume Obama’s speech didn’t change your mind on ObamaCare. What about the ACORN video today? More of the same criminal behavior from the group liberals love. You can discuss the big march on Saturday. Or the football game tonight. Or any other little thing that chaps your ass.

Great start to the NFL season last night. While I figured scoring would be like pulling teeth…at least we got some great end of game and overtime play. Plus while I like the offense, a good old fashioned defensive struggle can be enjoyable too.

The Texas Rangers is actually a very,very small unit, consisting of only 144 sworn commissioned officers. Yep, only 144.
The current Dallas PD has 3,500 officers.
So, The Rangers can organize, investigate, and call for more police enforcements, and hopefully get some, but due to their very small actual numbers, they themselves won’t amount to much. Sorry.
