TAX-PAYING PATRIOTS MARCH ON WASHINGTON

Angry White Dude has the advantage of having attended the 9/12 March on Washington when I listen to the inaccurate mainstream media reports of the event. It has been interesting, but not surprising, to listen to the usual liberal suspect talking heads try to paint the event as an extremist group of racists who cannot deal with having a black President. This has been the theme of the MSM since the tea party inception in February. Of course, the term racist has been so over-used by the left it has been watered down to mean virtually nothing. To the left, a racist is a white person who disagrees with a liberal. As Obama continues to fail and his presidency ends in total disaster, we will never hear the end of call we are racist haters of a black man. I told a reporter who stopped me yesterday that if Obama was a conservative who governed along the lines of Ronald Reagan, I’d have Obama’s face tattooed on my chest. Conservatives don’t care about skin color. We care about political ideology. That is why I strongly oppose a black socialist president but strongly support a conservative black man running for the Senate in my home state of Texas.

What is wrong with liberals? One thing, they hang out only with other liberals in liberal places and talk of liberal topics. They surround themselves with liberal ideology and cannot believe that anyone could disagree with their political beliefs. The story is told of the owner of the Washington Post. After Reagan was elected by a huge landslide, she remarked, “I can’t believe he won! I don’t know one person who voted for him!” Since liberals are too arrogant and ignorant to allow themselves to believe we cannot disagree on ideological terms, they soothe their tiny little minds into believing we must be racist or uneducated. It’s the easy way out for them albeit intellectually dishonest and lazy. But liberals count on stupid. That is the only reason the mainstream media is still in business. Liberals do not think for themselves. They allow their leaders to give them trite talking points to repeat. “Tea partiers are teabaggers,” they say. “Teabaggers are racist and can’t stand having a black President.” They said “Bush lied, people died.” This innocuous statement has so many facets for discussion…but liberals can only spout the catch phrase. They have no other substance.

I was greatly surprised to see as many people at the march. I said I would consider it a success if more than 100,000 people attended. It looks like it was somewhere between 500,000 to a million! Americans from each state traveling at their own expense to protest a unresponsive, irresponsible government. Not an arrest that I know of. No fights, bad language or rude behavior to be found. The trash from the event was cleaned up and bagged for removal by volunteers 30 minutes after the event ended.

I am proud to have attended the largest group of conservative Americans in US history. This movement is growing…not because of a black president….but because he is hellbent on destroying our country. As for anyone who seeks government run health care I ask, when has the government ever done anything faster, better, and cheaper than the private sector? Answer..never. See you next September in Washington!
