RUSH LIMBAUGH’S MONEY NOT BLACK ENOUGH TO OWN RAMS!

WHITE DEVIL RUSH LIMBAUGH

WHITE DEVIL RUSH LIMBAUGH

There has been a whirlwind of ignorance by the usual racialist suspects since Rush Limbaugh announced he was interested in buying the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League. Da Revrum Al (“ax me if I is impotent”) Sharpton has spread his special brand of industrial strength stupidity saying he was disturbed to hear Limbaugh was interested in buying the Rams because Rush has been:

“anti-NFL in his comments about several of the league’s players, specifically naming Philadelphia Eagles quarterbacks Donovan McNabb and Michael Vick.”

What Rush did was commit the cardinal sin….criticize a black person while being white! The real problem with the left is Rush’s money is not black enough!

Sharpton was also upset at Limbaugh writing, “recent statement that the NFL was beginning to look like a fight between the Crips and the Bloods without the weapons, was disturbing.”

Angry White Dude lost interest in professional sports years ago with the “Deion-ization” of pro athletes. Deion Sanders was one of the first to take off his helmet and go into spasms every time he did his job on the field. Trash talking and thuggish behavior is the norm these days with black athletes. It is no longer enough to out-perform your opponent, you must humiliate them after the play as well. I know..they just keepin’ it real!

NFL Players Union (there’s that word again) Chief DeMaurice deSmith called on fellow de-union members in an e-mail Saturday to speak out against the talk radio giant. He said:

“I’ve spoken to the Commissioner [Roger Goodell] and I understand that this ownership consideration is in the early stages. But sport in America is at its best when it unifies, gives all of us reason to cheer, and when it transcends.”

What he really is saying is sport in America is at its best when it unifies around liberal ideology. He’s so much into unity that he’s called on black players to write the Commish to complain about Limbaugh. In a ESPN interview, deSmith said players should “speak with candor and blunt honesty about how they feel.” But Rush Limbaugh should not! Because he is a racist. Because he is white. Because he sometimes criticizes blacks. Such is logic of the failed ideology of liberal politics!

Super-stud conservative and friend of AWD (I’m bragging here), Wayne Allyn Root, wrote (you should buy Wayne’s excellent book, The Conscience of a Libertarian:

“Liberals tend to believe that if they disagree with your opinions, you or your opinions should be banned. Or you should be labeled a “racist” thereby destroying your credibility, and possibly your career. Liberals are the Joseph McCarthy’s of today. Is there anything American about the idea that someone should be banned from ownership of a NFL football team because of his or her political views?”

There is nothing American about someone being banned from anything because of their political views. However, there is something politically correct there. Leftoids are much more concerned with political correctness than the Constitution as seen in the actions or statements by any DemonRat! In fact, the Constitution doesn’t enter into the argument with libtards.

Some NFL players are stating they would not play for the Rams if Limbaugh buys the team. I can guaran-damn-tee them they are right! NY Giants defensive end Mathias Kiwanuka said, “I don’t want anything to do with a team that he has any part of. He can do whatever he wants, it is a free country. But if it goes through, I can tell you where I am not going to play.” My guess is Kiwanuka, if faced between playing for Rush or retiring, would go back to his prior field of nuclear science instead of playing football. Or selling drugs. Or becoming a Reverend. Or the latter two.

The NFL will want to tread very lightly on this one. They have played political correct politics for decades but may push this one too far. Look in the stands. There’s a lot of white devils paying lots of money to watch the NFL. This is different from wearing ridiculous pink cleats and supporting breast cancer (may peace be upon breasts). A whole hell of a lot of those whiteys in the stands comprise the 40 million who listen to Rush on a daily basis. I’m sure they could find something better to do with their time in this political climate than watch over-paid gang bangers talk trash and take cheap shots. Especially when they are taking cheap shots at freedom in America!

ESPN’s Stephen Smith calls NFL players who say they won’t play for Rush what they are….liars!

  1. Snowdog99 says:

Oh well. Let the Rams go broke then!

If Rush is racist, then I guess they don’t need is money, now do they?

  2. Col. Sanders says:

Given the hysteria of communists (nothing ‘liberal’ about pinkos), they’ll be calling Rush the next Marge Schott…

  3. JS says:

The sad part is how Blacks continue to be THE protected ones.

Ask any Conservative and they will happily tell you, without hesitation, that Liberals are ruining this country. It’s not disputable.

But inform them that Blacks vote in lockstep with Liberals, and therefore, are themselves helping to ruin America (leave out any mention of violent crime, out of wedlock births, drugs, etc), and…..RACIST!

I’ve tried, on plenty of so-called tough, “Conservative” sites. The response is always the same. Endless cries for reparations, violence, abandoned baby-momma’s, out of wedlock births, etc. How is any of that, in any way, good for this country? Then toss in the voting record and what court would not side with you?

It’s hopeless. Now, they’re going to band together so a talk show host can’t buy a team?

    Awesome…

  4. bigtimer says:

Typical leftist hypocrisy/agenda…nothing new here at all regarding Rush or anyone who is a conservative…no matter the skin color.

The left are filthy ba$tards with an agenda..nothing more, nothing less.

If I weren’t so tired I’d post more of my thoughts about this…guess this will have to suffice for the time being.

By the way…Rush had a black caller today with view points that others need to listen to, digest, and put use to for their own lives.

  5. Martin Glover says:

If the man can afford it he should be able to buy it. What are the black racist scared of

  6. Keep Honkin, I'm Reloading says:

What are the black racist scared of?

Knowing their threats of crying racism or cashing in on affirmative action, will get them no where with Rush as an owner.

I say buy the team, let the “sanctimonious” gangstas walk, then replace them all with white players…at twice the salary.

    F#%@ ‘em

  7. zone says:

Day by day and brick by brick a wall rises,
As on either side “opposing teams” increase their size.

  8. Brett says:

Sharpton’s mouth will drive the price of the Rams’ down even further but not so far he could ever come close to affording them. As usual with these whiners: epic fail! Hope all you Ram players enjoy having a mouthpiece like Sharpton!!

  9. DcFather says:

Pink shoes, Spanish penalties, J-low victimology, race-based hiring of coaches and quarterbacks, etc. and now race-based ownership. What’s next, the Mexican National Anthem sung by a trans-gendered illegal alien Muslim from Kenya to “raise awareness” that some children in Kindergarten are still being deprived of homosexual indoctrination in government-run schools?

In the past you had to sell your soul to the PC morons to be a player, coach, or owner in the NFL, but now you must do so just to watch 1/2 hour of pinked-up football interspersed between 3 1/2 hours of PC advertisements.

A Sunday afternoon at the shooting range sounds more and more like a better idea every week.

  10. Artimus Maximus says:

The fear for these players that “won’t” play for Rush is that they wont be allowed to grandstand like T.O.. I hope he buys the Rams and makes players live up to the expectations of being good citizens and roll models for the kids that watch their actions.

I am not a Rush fan but this is something that I support him in and hope he does not back down. In fact I hope he is rejected based upon this hype and he sues for racial discrimination.

  11. Rob says:

My guess is that none of these people actually listen to his show. The guy isn’t a racist, he’s against the PC garbage that has infected our society.

Before I started getting politically active I figured Rush was a racist kinda guy, too. They sure do paint him that way in the MSM, which I have completely cut myself off from. They fail to air the entirety of his words, and only little snippets of things he says in order to make him look racist. Then if some people DO check out his show, the people that pander in the name of being politically correct are close-minded about him, and just look for points to bicker about. The ones that actually have some common sense get an epiphany and realize what the MSM tries to do to him.

    It’s sad really.

Speaking of Rush, he’s on in 3 minutes!

I like how Stephen Smith called them all out haha “Tell me who said it!” He knows they’re full of garbage. I would be SHOCKED if even one of them decided to not play for the amount of money they get.

  12. Gerald says:

    Wrong, wrong wrong.

    1. Deion Sanders was far from the first. He was just the first that everyone complained about. Mark Gastineau was doing his “sack dances” in the NFL years before Sanders. And Ty Cobb was doing nonsense like that in BASEBALL before pro sports was even integrated (which Ty Cobb was opposed to incidentally).

    2. “My guess is Kiwanuka, if faced between playing for Rush or retiring, would go back to his prior field of nuclear science instead of playing football. Or selling drugs. Or becoming a Reverend. Or the latter two.”

You guess this because Matthias Kiwanuka is a black person who disagrees with you politically. Did you even bother to check Kiwanuka’s background? The guy was an honor student at Boston College. He is the grandson of the former Ugandan prime minister who was assassinated by the fascist Idi Amin. If he wasn’t playing football, he’d be making hundreds of thousands of dollars a year as a corporate lawyer or accountant or something. That is what you get for thinking that every black person who disagrees with your politics is a welfare recipient or criminal, which incidentally is not something that any of you “color blind” conservatives ever accuses the MANY white affluent liberals of. So a white liberal is perfectly capable of being a hard working, law abiding, moral successful person with whom you just happen to disagree with, but a black liberal can only be someone on welfare, a criminal, or someone who used affirmative action to take some white person’s job?

Also, there is more than a little bit of conservative hypocrisy going on. I remember when Bill Cosby tried to buy NBC in the late 1980s. Now as this was back when Cosby was better known for his civil rights work and liberal politics than for addressing crime and other black cultural problems, white conservatives mobilized to denounce and oppose the idea, linking Cosby to Al Sharpton and claiming that he would use NBC to promote and advance a black agenda that would marginalize whites.

And in the 1990s, when Bob Johnson, the founder and then-owner of Black Entertainment Television – a well known liberal Democrat, although he did famously back Hillary Clinton over Barack Obama – attempted to create a major airline (it was to be called D.C. Air) white conservatives not only denounced the idea but pledged to fight it in Congress.

Look, if Limbaugh wants to buy an NFL team and the NFL wants to sell it to him, fine. (By the way, the NFL has the same rights to buy and sell to whomever they please as anyone else. Yes, that is capitalism and it is freedom. And if the NFL decides that selling to Limbaugh is against its interests because of a negative reaction from black players or black fans … that is capitalism and freedom too. Incidentally, when Donald Watkins, a black investment banker and energy company entrepreneur, tried three times to buy a Major League Baseball franchise and was refused, I don’t recall conservatives caring. For the record, Watkins used to be a Republican, left the GOP for reasons that he will not cite, and is now an independent.)

And yes, the NFL player’s union, Matthias Kiwanuka, and others have the right to oppose Limbaugh owning a team and to voice and pursue their opposition. That is called a FREE SOCIETY. They have as much right to work to keep Limbaugh to buying an NFL team as conservatives did to work to get George W. Bush to withdraw the Harriet Miers nomination to the Supreme Court and replace her with Samuel Alito.

    3. Look, either you support freedom or you don’t. Either you respect the right of others to disagree with you and oppose you so long as they do it legally or you don’t. And clearly with your claim that Matthias Kiwanuka would be selling drugs if he wasn’t playing football merely because he opposes Rush Limbaugh politically, you don’t.

    4. And yes, Kiwanuka is one of the FEW black players who actually would refuse to play for Rush Limbaugh. A. Kiwanuka knows that he can use his superior academic record at an elite academic institution to obtain employment for any firm that hires based on MERIT in the country. Being bright, working hard and having options in an economy, and acting in a manner that is consistent with your own beliefs, values and self-interests are things that conservatives are SUPPOSED to support. I thought it was the left that wanted to make us drones without freedom of thought, action or conscience. B. Kiwanuka has principles. That is a good thing. Would you accept employment from a company that makes and traffics pornography, heavy metal rock, or gangsta rap music just because they are the highest bidder for your services? Or would you take less money – but still more than enough to live on! – to work for an employer that better reflects your beliefs and values? What “conservative” would tell a Federalist society law school graduate to turn down an offer from Antonin Scalia and instead go work for Sonia Sotomayor or Ruth Bader Ginsburg just because Sotomayor or Ginsburg paid more?

  13. olds442 says:

Bring the Rams back to Cleveland! The BrownClowns could be sent to St. Louis and renamed the Cardinals following their first win of the year, a “thrilling” 6-3 win over the Bills. Then, rename the Ravens the Colts, and rename the Colts the Browns. That should make everyone happy- especially Cleveland sports fans. Rush would be great for Cleveland- Jesse Jackass and Al Sharpie would get mugged (or worse) if they mooned their sorry black asses on the nippy shores of Lake Erie.

  14. AWD says:

Gerald, you’re right, I don’t know much about Kiwanuka. I guess I base a lot of my opinions of NFL players on gentlemen like Michael Vick, Ray Lewis, Rae Caruth and others. Like I said, I don’t follow professional sports. If Kiwanuka is an educated and good man…fine. If he doesn’t want to play for Limbaugh…find. But don’t discombobulate the reasoning here the only reason the blackisphere is opposing Limbaugh is because he is a white conservative who dares to speak his mind! Also, I would hardly put Limbaugh’s views close to your example of pornography or gangsta rap.

Yes, I believe NFL players have the right to speak out and play for whomever they want. I just don’t discount the fact the reasons they oppose Rush is because he is a conservative, outspoken white man!

    AWD

  15. Janet says:

I like Rush, listen to him as much as I can. He infuriates the left because he has common sense.

I hope Rush buys the team, fires all those ungrateful jackasses and replaces them with white boys.

  16. Whitewolf222 says:

The fact that some people are against Rush buying that team proves what Rush says every day.

  17. Dirty-Harry says:

    DITTO JANET!!!

However, color should not matter. There are reasonable black men who can agree to disagree and still play in the NFL.

Rush is Right, but in NO way is he a racist. Cuz if Rush is a racist so is Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity… and my self.

I hope Rush buys the team… he’ll be selling Rams jerseys on his site. Heck I’ll buy one, cuz us (angry) white dudes look good ib blue.

  18. tazzmax says:

I don’t know why Rush would spend his money on a team of racist black ghetto thugs, unless it was for a tax shelter.

AWD, I’m like you, I have no use for major league sports, it’s become nothing but a rogues’ gallery of ghetto thugs.

  19. Gerald says:

    AWD:

I understand and agree with your position on refusing to support the NFL because of the illegal activities of its athletes. However, I would hope that you would extend that attitude towards not only Hollywood entertainment (which not only glorifies criminal behavior, but many of the people who make and act in the entertainment are also criminals) but also the business community, which is chock full of lawbreakers. Regarding the latter, it is true that the people most likely to speak of the criminal behavior of many in the business community are people like Michael Moore and Eliot Spitzer, socialists who do so out of their disdain for capitalism. However, that does not change the fact that when the Moores and Spitzers of the world want to find lawbreakers in the business community, they never have to look very far. And to show that it isn’t even an ideological or partisan issue, GOP star Rudy Giuliani’s claim to fame was prosecuting corrupt Wall Street types as a U.S. attorney during the Reagan administration, a fact that Giuliani does not mention when he is courting the support of the Heritage Foundation, the Manhattan Institute or the Club For Growth. I will say that a main argument for liberals (as well as for blacks who aren’t politically inclined) that one of the main things that absolutely convinces them that conservatives are racist is the hypocritical double standard regarding white collar crime and street crime. Talking about the drug use of athletes when Wall Street types are notorious casual drug users is just one example. That conservatives dedicate much more outraged rhetoric towards street criminals than they do white collar criminals and executives who bilk the economy out of billions is another. But to hear conservatives talk, the only criminal CEO on the face of the earth was the liberal black Democrat who ran Fannie Mae. The National Review actually defended the crooks that Eliot Spitzer marched off to jail. A common line of defense is that corporate crooks are only guilty of violating laws that shouldn’t exist anyway that were only enacted by anti-business leftist socialists. How that is any different from Jackson and Sharpton claiming that black drug dealers shouldn’t be in jail because they are only guilty of breaking racist drug laws passed to target the black community you will have to explain to me.

“I just don’t discount the fact the reasons they oppose Rush is because he is a conservative, outspoken white man!”

I am sorry, sir, but that comment betrays a real disconnect from reality. The truth is that the NFL is dominated by conservative white males. Always has been. As a matter of fact, the NFL is far more conservative than the other sports leagues, including Major League Baseball and the National Hockey League which have far fewer black athletes. So, the black NFL player who chooses not to work for a white conservative male owner, general manager or head coach would have basically no employment options.

The problem isn’t Limbaugh’s conservatism, or his outspokenness, but his race-baiting. Now I used to regularly listen to Limbaugh’s radio show, even used to watch his TV show. Limbaugh is not a racist in the pure or classic sense, meaning a person who believes blacks to be inferior or someone who participates in or advocates discrimination against or mistreatment of blacks. Instead, the problem is that Limbaugh sincerely believes that blacks should simply accept any racism that blacks experience – and Limbaugh does acknowledge the existence of racism – without complaining, because he believes that complaining about racism harms the country. In his calculation, racism only harms blacks, which are 10% of the country, and complaining about racism hurts everyone. So in his thinking, blacks should be willing to put up with racism – a “racism tax” if you will – in service to a greater good, a greater good that ultimately provides blacks more benefit than harm. And Limbaugh believes that people who tell blacks that blacks should not have to “pay the racism tax” are doing the country – and ultimately blacks – more harm than good.

In other words, Limbaugh adheres to the classic neoconservative position on race. Which contrasts with the paleoconservative position, which is one of racialism, meaning segregation and racial superiority. Of course, Limbaugh and his fellow neo-conservative travelers cannot come out and SAY that blacks should accept paying the racism tax for the greater good. So, they need to come up with an alternative discourse. I guess that is fine if you choose to play the political game that often makes it impossible to say what you really feel, and Limbaugh plays it and plays it well. The problem is when you start to actually BELIEVE what you say. Limbaugh has been pushing this alternative discourse for so long and so often that he either has internalized it or has a lot of cognitive dissonance moments. A bigger problem is people who think that your alternative discourse is real, that it is either your true opinion or a valid political and social philosophy rather than a construct designed to make your true beliefs more politically palatable, and buy into it. Which is a shame, because Limbaugh’s true beliefs are rational, logically consistent, and therefore very defensible. By contrast, his public discourse on the matter is populist (in the bad sense of the word), shallow, simplistic, inconsistent, and fundamentally dishonest by design and is therefore indefensible. The great irony is that were Limbaugh to articulate his true feelings (feelings which incidentally are shared by a long line of black leaders like Booker T. Washington) he would be much more respected in the black community but useless – indeed a liability – to the conservative community politically. Which, of course, means that he’d have a lot less money and power. So, Limbaugh doesn’t articulate his true views on race for the same reason that he doesn’t go after the crooks and cheats in corporate America the way that, say, Bill O’Reilly does.

The bottom line is that in this instance and in many others, the truth is much more complicated than you would like to believe.

  20. AWD says:

Gerald, I won’t respond to your epistle but I believe all criminals should pay for their crimes. You need to read more of my writings and you’ll see I have no favoritism to lawbreakers or trouble-makers of any race.

  21. Zach says:

Gerald, you make a lot of sense. I don’t like the fact that Limbaugh tries to sway me to his rant while he’s laughing all the way to the bank.

You, dear author of this piece and your commentators on this piece, are racist. You just don’t get it. I am personally sick of ALL of you. Sign me ANGRY WHITE Woman.

  23. AWD says:

Sandra, thank you for your well-thought out words. I note that you did not take a moment to explain how the author and commentators are racist. Please grace us with your thoughts and enlighten us to how we may change our beliefs to satisfy you. We do apologize if any of our words or actions have rendered you ill.

  24. MM says:

I used to watch sports to get away from liberals playing with my mind. Now I listen to music instead. Sports commentators are occasionally apolitical but generally fly the liberal flag from their microphones, always trying to be properly fashionably leftists. You won’t hear a conservative comment from any of these characters. If a sport isn’t black-dominated, they want to know why. John Feinstein (Duke grad) is a good example. He still thinks the lacrosse players are bad guys, at least partially guilty. Rich white boys! So what if they’re well off. Not all are. I lost all respect for Feinstein when he sided with the Nifong-Brodhead crowd. Regards, MM

  25. No one is really a fan of Rush especially in one of the most integrated American pastimes.

  26. Zach says:

I enjoy watching sports,If its football or basketball. I like seeing the Camaraderie the players have with each other, black , white or Hispanic. It would be nice if that could extend outside of the playing field. There is some friction between certain team mates, but they usually have each others backs. I don’t want to see an all white team or an all black team and I’m sure the rest of America doesn’t either.

    The “Related Videos” are disturbing.

It’s laborious to go through all the comments, but I’ll paraphrase one. One of them said that some legal analysts where on the boob-tube tonight (no mention of network, it was probably Fox) and said that Rush would probably have a pretty good legal case.

    We’ll see what happens.

  28. Guardian says:

Poor misunderstood drug addict who is quite possibly the most condensending, narissitic individual that is known of nationally. Sit behind the eib microphone, educate the masses but, you are not entitled to be part of a sports franchise because you have money. You are good at what you do however, you are becoming more like gore. gore is unelectable and you are not welcome in the football genre.

  29. Brett says:

Um, I’ve never seen such jealous racists who can’t afford a football team show their true colors so fast!! This has to be a record. I only hope the team doesn’t sue Sharpton and Jackson for ruining the market on something they couldn’t afford anyway. I mean these guys interfered in a private transaction. In the wholesale car business, this kind of behavior would ruin a man.

  30. georgie girl says:

If I were one the those evil white season ticket holders it would be my last season.

  31. bigtimer says:

Despicable what the msm/leftist lemmings everywhere have done…of all venues…and they all did this in tandem.

America had better wake up and soon…

    Rush is only the beginning.

IF We remain silent…we will be silenced.

Agenda…the Big Agenda is in the works with the team…we ain’t seen nothing yet.

  32. Hillbilly Jack says:

Perhaps..in response to his ouster,Rush should instead purchase a chain of KFC franchises?

Imagine the furor of the race hustlers, poverty pimps and other enablers,if Rush dared to exercise his freedoms and violate that “holy of holies”.

Whats next?..is Colonel Sanders going to be accused of ripping off the secret recipe from some unknown downtrodden, sharecropping negro?

It amazes me that the “Reverends” are still relevant in 2009.
