I really tried! I did. I gave Michael Steele a chance! He wasn’t my guy to run the RNC because I sensed he was another big-tent moderate instead of the true conservative warrior Republicans need. He is turning out to be a big-tent moron! It seems every time Steele speaks he show himself to be what I’m afraid can only be described as the affirmative action choice for the RNC.

Steele says he respects what ACORN has done for the poor in the communities. Like help them set up prostitution rings for underage girls? Yes, Steele, ACORN is impressive…especially when one reflects on the hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars given to that pack of thieves! Steele also is sure top ACORN crook Bertha Lewis is going to clean out the bad apples. Bertha Lewis is the bad apple TREE! However, notice that Steele is speaking at Philander Smith College in Little Rock, Arkansas. Better for whom? I’ll give you three guesses and the first two don’t count! So speaking at Philander Smith College, Steele couldn’t bring himself to break rule number one of blackitude. Never criticize a black person no matter how big a bag of sh*t they are. It truly is pathetic Steele, while representing a party that has done more for blacks in history, cannot bring himself to criticize a disgusting scam operation like ACORN. He didn’t have a problem criticizing Rush Limbaugh earlier in the year. But this is the guy who wants to spend his time trying to bring blacks to the Republican party. It was his idea to develop conservative rap music to convert blacks to conservatism. Yeah, that might work! Maybe Steele needs to spend a little time deciding who he is supposed to represent.
Blacks are more than welcome to join conservatives. Big-tent Republicans are hell-bent on recruiting blacks….any blacks for heaven’s sake!..to the party so they can feel they’ve done something important. Unfortunately, it won’t happen. Most blacks will live on the Democrat liberal plantation forever. Blacks who have figured it out are conservatives already. Steele is an insult to every black conservative who has moved from the typical black liberal mental prison by rational thought.
AWD saw Steele speak about six months ago. I was embarrassed for him during his speech by the number of times he used black speech. He said of Arlen Specter (who had just left the Repub party), “I’m gonna send the brother a bill for the last election.” There were many other patronizing and ignorant statements like that. It led me to believe Steele sees himself as a black man first and a Republican second. He believes he was chosen because he is black…as do I now. He is trying to play the part he believes the Republican establishment wants him to play. So he plays the hip black guy who can “keep it real.” Steele has no ideas of relevance and Republican donations are very low..as they should be. The Republicans have lost conservatives. After his speech, I caught Steele just before he ran out the door. I told him “the Republicans will never regain power until you follow the 3 R’s….Rid Republicans of RINOs.” He said, “I hear ya, brother.” I responded, “do you?” It’s obvious he did not. The Republican party is supporting several RINO candidates over quality conservatives around the country.
It is obvious to me the Republican party is our enemy as much as the DemonRats. Replacing big-spending DemonRats with big-spending Republicans is not the change we need. Conservatives need to re-take the Republican party.

Just sent one to that lovely young lady (the prostitute) that nailed ACORN. She is being sued by ACORN because they say that it is illegal to record stuff like that in Maryland. I read elsewhere that ACORN is operating in Maryland illegally — their paperwork expired. Who’s going to go after them in Maryland about that?

Spoke out about it long ago elsewhere, very much in the minority then…seems some are waking up now after they all voted for him and didn’t bother with the links I inserted in my posts of what I had heard him say in the past.
People on both sides of the aisle at times go along to get along with a so-called leader or two of a gang leader to remain on the good side, hope to be popular in that gang.
That’s life…and it ain’t gonna change any either.
In the meantime…the damage is done.
We all pay for it…one way or the other.
You know, I had a genuine post-racial feeling with this guy- not empty rhetoric like Obama, seemed to me he was largely focused on issues/campaigns… so what’s THIS all about?
I’ve defended him on my blog more than once and gave him the complete benefit of the doubt, too- although a bit out of his depth, I thought he’d grow into the job- I like his personality, and hey- at least the guy’s got a sense of humor.
But after NY-23 I lost most respect for him… that’s largely his fault for letting it go down like that– he’s the boss, and it was botched, that’s all I know.
