Brinks just can’t leave it alone! They just have to keep putting out their moronic white male-bashing commercials with equally moronic white male criminals! Every single commercial that Brinks puts out has some white guy in a hooded sweatshirt either peeking through a fence around a house in the middle of suburbia during the middle of the day or some fat ex-boyfriend kicking in the door because his ex-girlfriend has a date! Like a white guy is going to be peering through the fence in plain site of everyone before he kicks in the FRONT door! AWD is not a criminal and doesn’t really have a criminal mind but, damn, what kind of white moron criminal kicks in the front door in the middle of the day? And I love the overweight loser who lost the good looking girlfriend and waits in his car RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER HOUSE and waits to break in THE FRONT DOOR to terrorize his ex!
The other thing that bugs me about Brinks commercials is the Brinks white guy on the phone always calls within 2 seconds of the alarm going off. I once had Brinks home alarm service before I realized what a scam it was. Once I accidentally set off the alarm but didn’t push the button to notify them it was me. It took so long for them to call a criminal could have killed me, cooked me, eaten me and moved in for a month or two! Here’s a reproduction of my experience with Ghandi from Mumbai with Brinks:
Brinks guy: Halloooo Meester Ahngry Dood? Everyting OK is dere, yes?
AWD: What did you say Haji?
Brinks guy: De alarm go off your home. Do you have password?
AWD: What the hell did you say? Oh….password…yes, I have it! If I remember right it is LEARN TO SPEAK ENGLISH TARGET-HEAD!
Brinks guy: Cahn I put you on hold for a minute?
AWD: Click.
Brinks has gone the route of the stupid, insidious white male-bashing route rather than face the un-political correct truth that the majority of criminals are not white! Most criminals who break into houses are not white! There may be some but white guys definitely don’t make up the entire population of stupid criminals as portrayed in Brinks Home Security commercials! You think perchance maybe a black guy or Mexican might be doing some crimes in reality? Nahhh…that would not be realistic at all! Plus, it would be racist!
Brinks joins the other shameful companies with their white male bashing, embarrassing, deceitful, unrealistic commercials. Wouldn’t the women in those commercials being terrorized by the stupid white criminals be better off with a Remington 870 Wingmaster with #1 buckshot? If they would subscribe to AWD’s GIER program (Gun In Every Room) they wouldn’t have to wait weeks for the Brinks guy to call from Bangladesh!

There are so many things wrong with this it’s unbelievable.
PC demands that anybody who is less than admirable be portrayed as a white male. So, if you don’t stereotype and pre-judge people based on race and gender, in disregard of the content of their character, you must be a racist, sexist, or both. Or, more concisely, if you aren’t racist or sexist, then you are racist or sexist. Makes no sense of course, but that’s PC, our new Constitution.

Everyone knows only white males break into homes.
A few years ago we were broken into. I was walking the dogs at the river and my wife was out running errands. These guys were as stupid as the one in the ad. They just kicked the front door in. Luckily, when she came home, the cops were already there as a neighbor noticed “something” out of place. Let’s just say they weren’t a couple of fraternity brothers from the local college.
When I got there, one of the perps was in the back of the cop car with a busted up face (they took the stolen car they were driving and smashed it into the cop car in an attempt to get away).
The other perp ran through the woods and caught a local metro bus. Even though the guy was covered with mud and shirtless (this would not be all that unusual on our buses). But one of the riders did call the cops thinking something was just slightly suspiscous.
He was caught with my wifes pager on his belt. He insited that it was his.
Wait until you see the latest Progressive Insurance White Man Bashing commercial. This one covers sensitive as well as bashing.
While white males are portrayed as the intruders, notice that the employees are also white males. Why not make the commercial complete by having a black male thug be the security person calling the woman to see of she is ok? They we can consider this cycle complete.

Just saw the broadview commerical with the white guy who needs a shave break down the door, in the middle of the day. While a single mother is about to prepare lunch with her daughter.
It occurs to me that the safest people to pick on are white men. And it does not matter how old the male is. Even young boys are exposed to this sexism. Girls wearing shirts that say “Girls rule Boys drool.”
Basically what I am saying is that there is no reprecussions for bashing men, especially white men.
When the day comes that there is some type of penalty for these type commercials, then it will stop.

Actually, I’d like to know where these neighborhoods they portray are located. Considering the actual statistics, if all I had to worry about were white criminals, my family and stuff would be much safer.

Most commercials these days are stupid. They are scripted so that us “ignorant” people will be impressed by what they are saying and buy their product. They don’t get it. We think they are “ignorant”. I think the worst commercials are the ones for “I owed $58,000.00 in income taxes and the law firm of John Doe fixed it so I only paid $120.00.” These really tick me off because if I have to pay all my taxes, so should they. What they neglect to say in the commercial is that all those people are on Obama’s payroll.

To Hillbilly Jack, there are white Hispanics, some well known ones are: Christina Aguiler,Cameron Diaz,Anita Page, and many more. Most Hispanics are classified as white, they make up most of the Hispanic population in Latin America and Spain.

What kind of commercial would it be if, when the white punk kicked in the door; a 6’2″ 260 pound Ex-Marine hit him between the eyes with the Brinks alarm control panel and knocked his ass cold? Not much of a sales pitch there.
The media marketers need to prey on the fears of the huddled masses. Like a burglar alarm will protect you from a determined attacker! The Police will need several minutes to arrive and that is plenty of time for most attackers to have their way with their unprotected victims. The first thing you do is take away the guns and stop training people in self defense and this is what you get! A Nation that is unable to protect themselves!
The dumbest commercials are those “Tax Relief” ones!

What a load of crap. If you are Honest, then you file your tax returns and pay your taxes! You should not “owe” taxes. If you hide your income or fail to file, there is no excuse except stupidity or arrogance! Sounds like most of the Presidents cabinet and advisers should call this number right away! How can you “forget” to pay your taxes? How come everyone’s Turbo tax EXCEPT Geithners’ came up with the “right” answer? Just like gun control laws, only the law abiding citizens obey the law!

FEAR. Brinks Home Security has 30 to 60 seconds to portray a break in and put FEAR into your mind. Brinks uses the white guy for FEAR of having to answer to Jessie Jackson or the NOW gang. Brinks has a lot of non-white guys and gals, especially low to mid management, in their corporate office in Irving Texas for FEAR of our government.
NO FEAR. What goes around comes around. Brinks Home Security changed to Broadview Security and then was bought by Tyco, parent company of ADT. Their ads must not be working out very well. Not to mention the Brinks fast spin revolving door policy for Mr AWD and having to scrape the bottom of the barrel for talneted and honest employes. Wonder if all those folks at Brinks get to keep their jobs with ADT? From a former Brinks Corp employee, I can testify and say good ridance.
