WHO LIED TO NEWT GINGRICH?
Who lied to Newt or is the question better served, why is Newt Gingrich lying? Newt has gone into the tank for liberal Republican Dede Scozzafava in New York’s 23rd district. The problem is there is a credible conservative alternative also in the race. Gingrich, as well as the wussypants Republican RINO elites, has ignored conservative Doug Hoffman and endorsed very left wing Scozzafava. Gingrich has said to anyone who would listen that the local Repubs made the decision to back Dede. Whoa! Not so fast there, Great American RINO!
Michael Patrick Leahy, the American patriot who started the tea party movement back in February, has written an investigative piece that shows what really happened with the Republicans in New York. Seems like Newt is not being forthcoming. I encourage anyone who wants to know the truth about that race to read Mike’s excellent piece. Newt is a liar..he’s been this way for so long back now I can’t remember the years that have passed since I figured it out watching him in the House and such…plus the back-stabbing evil cold things he did to real conservatives that were in races they could have won but he cut off the support finanacially…and renigged in some campaign stops he was suppossed to make for them etc.
He is a slime-ball deluxe…I’m just glad many more people are seeing him for what he really is…it’s taken long enough.
Thank goodness for the internet as well…these creatures of all stripes can’t get away with what they all have for years and years.

We need to clean Newt and all his big-wig ilk out of the power they hold in the GOP/RNC…they are the problem…they had better get the message.
Unfortunately their egos are so big, the msm keeps having them nodding in agreement most of the time…they will never go away in my opinion.
I just want their weight to go away behind the scenes…I no longer care how often they are on the TV screen..they need to just get their paws/power out of our lives.
They have helped the downward spiral we are in now spinning in with their money/power/influence etc.
I’d like it to be settled like an old ad was for Draino or some-such…”flush your troubles down the drain”…
That would solve everything…and we the people have to do it.
Newtie is just a symptom of the corruption that has infested both parties.

While I do live in NY – I don’t live in NY 23. However I spent quite a few years at -and retired from the Army at Fort Drum and the 10th Mountain Division, which are in the NY 23 (I retired to the NY 26, Tom Reynolds (R), now Rep. Chris Lee’s (R) district.
NY 23 is a dream come true for those of us in NY who are true Republicans as well as Conservatives. So much so that we are donating $$$, time and anything else to the NY-23 in the hopes we are finally sending a message to our State Republican Committee.
NY Republican Party has the same problems that the National seems to have. The candidates they run (1) are either rich enough to fund their own campaigns or (2) The individual they feel is the easiest to elect e.g. the cheapest to run, especially since NY is a blue state because of the liberal cities and suburbs of NY, Albany, Syracuse, Rochester and Buffalo.
If one looks at a county to county map it becomes obvious that the vast majority of upstate, central and western NY counties – located away from the cities – are red counties but the State and County Committee’s continuously runs those who are rich enough to finance their own campaigns or who are they feel are the cheapest to run / easiest to elect.
The State Republican Committee is one of the reasons NY is one bankruptcy step behind California and losing residents in droves because of high taxes and the impossibility of doing business of any sort.
Something I would find humorous – if not so hypocritical – is the fact that now that Hoffman has stepped out in the lead – RINO’ s like ex-govie George Pataki are endorsing him e.g. “hey guys don’t forget me – I’m a conservative too” – Sorry George – too many NYers remember you all too well.
Back to the question at hand – was Newtie lied to? The fact is – Newt is a RINO ass, as is evident with his big tent crap – but I do believe Newt was mislead by the whacks who chair the State and County Committee’s. I also believe the article attached – in that – the “Party Powers” such as Tom Reynolds are so out of touch with the Republicans in the state that unless they are “relieved” by new blood – NY may never come around.
Although I have met Tom Reynolds on several occasions, I primarily dealt with his staff on the behalf of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Disabled American Veterans on veterans and Veterans Administration Issues. Incidentally Mr. Reynolds – just never seemed to have the time to get personally involved in vet’s issued while Mr. Lee has.
I was never really impressed that Reynolds actually gave a crap – other than making sure he could get votes from the organization he was “helping”.

I agree..Newt is a RINO to the highest degree and a traitor to the ideals he has claimed to believe in..time for him to move on!

Ol’ Newtie lost me the day I saw him on TV, sitting on a couch with Nasty Nancy, trying to convince us that wind power was the new savior..
Not so sure about Hannity any longer, as he seems to be in love with “Mr. Speaker.”
Newtie is a frequent guest on Hannity. Hannity is one of my favorite radio/tv commentators, who I believe is a true conservative. So, I recently sent him an email. In that email, I advised him that if he continued to give RINO’s such as Newt a forum, he would damage his credibility. I further stated that there is too much at stake in the 2010 elections to take people such as him seriously.
Mikey, Hannity is a Republican hack. I don’t know why Fox is so enamored of Mr. Speaker and “the architect” Karl Rove. They both make me puke!

I’m with you and AWD.
I’ve become sick and tired of Newt everywhere all the time on Hannity as well as other shows on Fox…I listen to Hannity about half of the week, Dobbs/Malzberg/Levin the other half…plus I throw in others talk shows here and there as well.
Rush is a regular for me.
As to Rove…he’s made me more than furious over the years…and posted as such over time myself over the years.
