Liberals are not bright people. That’s why they’re liberals. They believe the obvious lies or are too stupid to know the difference. Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and the rest of the disgusting liberal lot seek only one thing….total control over your life. They don’t care about you or your family’s health. They don’t care if you die. They don’t care if you are against government run health care..as over 70% of Americans are. They are going to pass ObamaCare no matter what we do.
There will be a severe price to pay for the liberals. Americans are at about 9.9 out of 10 on the pissed-off scale. We’ve had enough! Pelosi and her co-horts do not fully realize the price they will pay. DemonRats are going to be bludgeoned in the 2010 elections. Not one DemonRat from a Republican district will be re-elected. I am extremely confident Pelosi will no longer be Speaker of the House. My prayer is conservatives can retake the House and put a halt to Obama’s nightmare vision of America.
2012 should see conservatives, who will have re-taken the Republican party, in control of both houses of Congress with a conservative in the White House. At that time, we will demand dramatic, yes dramatic, changes to government. We will demand a return to Constitutional government. We will demand dramatic cuts in the size of the federal government along with tremendous cuts in federal spending. We will demand freedom be returned to American businesses and taxpayers. We will demand personal responsibility. We will demand the borders be permanently shut and we will demand illegals be returned forever to their countries. We will demand American companies be allowed and encouraged to drill for energy off America’s coasts and in the interior. Everywhere! We will demand the middle eastern savage OPEC nations go to Hell and shove their oil barrels sideways! We will investigate the corrupt DemonRats like Charlie Rangel and many, many others and put them in jail. We will also demand the real birthplace of Obama be uncovered. If he is found to have covered the truth (if he was indeed born in Kenya) we will demand everyone involved in the cover up go to prison…including Hussein himself!
I am sick and tired…and quite irate…at watching the Democrats taking control of our country and stealing our freedoms. The Founding Fathers never intended on government run health care, BS global warming taxes and bailouts and government control of banks and industry. We are tired of political correctness that puts the blame on America and the working people of this country…especially whites. This has gone too far. Americans cannot be pushed too much further. As am I. I knew it would pass without question, but still, I’m pissed. I’m almost foaming at the mouth. I’ve been watching all day, and my blood pressure can vouch for that. I’m tired of seeing our liberties chipped away by the Dems and RINOs who only care about power and money. I can’t take anymore of this crap. This is NOT the USA anymore. It’s looking like Europe more and more everyday. I can’t take anymore of the libs, with that “I know what’s better for you” attitude. The bill passed because one POS RINO Joseph Cao (R) La. voted for the bill because he loves Obama. He was voted into William Jefferson’s old seat. We used to call The VC “Joe Shit The Ragman”. Joe Cao is a Vietnamese American, more likely he is VC. Way to go Joe Shit The Ragman.

The bill is not effective until 2013 (if the Senate also passes it). If enough conservatives can get elected in 2010 it could be repealed, hopefully.

Exciting times we live in. I love how the constitutionality of this drivel is only brought up once or twice by the talking heads, then forgotten. TwoDogs, the Tea Party movement is about to release a Contract For America that we will ask candidates to endorse. It greatly limits latitude to turn into a RINO. It will call for strict fiscal responsibility. The tea party movement will watch closely every vote of our elected politicians. They will be held in close check or they will spend a short time in Washington. Every patriotic American needs to get involved in the movement and the political process.

I can already tell you what the result of “contract for america” will be. We saw this in 94, republicans will use grass roots freedom movements to their advantage and then turn on their constituents once they have power.
Just like gun laws don’t disarm criminals, signing a contract is not going to make a man honest.
How many times will we be fooled? The only solution is to find politicians who are honest beyond doubt and have a thorough knowledge of capitalism and history. Basically politicians in the mould of Ron Paul. Then you don’t need contracts.
Barring that, if you want a contract, then make it hurt if it is broken. Make the politician put up 50% of his net worth as a performance bond, then after his term is over his performance is put to a vote of tea partiers to determine if he gets his money back.
A contract may not make a politician honest (so what does??) but the 1994 Contract did keep Bill Clinton (somewhat) honest by putting more at least marginally conservative reps in office. We also got a bit of welfare reform, a few tax breaks, and put the brakes on much of the out-of-control leftist madness.
Best of all, the Klintons couldn’t do whatever they pleased. Sometimes half a pie is better than none.

KHM, you’re right, politicians can do what they like once they get to DC. But candidates will endorse the tea party movement’s demands of fiscal conservatism if they want our support. Now that we have a movement for fiscally conservative Americans, we will bring any politicians caught breaking their oath home at the earliest opportunity. Watch Texas this March 2nd for the primary votes. We will turn out hundreds of thousands of new voters that have never voted in a primary before. Since only 2% of Americans typically vote in primaries, think that won’t have an effect?

Would a Congressman Choose ObamaCare?
Are liberals willing to swallow their own medicine? Apparently not. When Republican Senator Tom Coburn offered a two-page amendment to “public option” legislation, an amendment that would have required all members of the Senate health committee and their staffs to enroll in any new government-run health program, every Democrat on the Senate health committee – with three exceptions – voted against the amendment. Among the exceptions were Ted Kennedy (voting via proxy), who knew he wouldn’t live long enough to endure the indignities of big-government health rationing, and the committee’s chairman, Chris Dodd, who knew that he could strip out the amendment later in some out-of-sight backroom.
Event though they had assured us in an op-ed essay that a big-government health plan “will offer benefits that are as good as those available through private insurance – or better,” the liberal senators from Ohio and Rhode Island, Sherrod Brown and Sheldon Whitehouse, voted against Coburn’s amendment. Even Vermont’s self-described socialist senator, Bernie Sanders, voted nay to subjecting himself to bureaucratic healthcare rationing. These liberals want to cling to all those comforting Congressional-health-plan choices that they voted for themselves, but would deny to the rest of us. The only Republican senator to vote against the Coburn amendment was Judd Gregg who explained that his vote was the only humane thing to do because the public option “will be so bad that I don’t think anyone should be forced to join.”

So where did you get that 70% figure? Did you just make it up? Because that’s closer to the number that DO want “government run health care” (the public option).
