LISTEN TO THE WORDS OF A REAL PRESIDENT

A TRUE LEADER AND REAL MAN!
Today is the 20th anniversary of the destruction of the Berlin Wall. It stood for over 20 years as a brutal reminder of the evils of totalitarianism. As much as the current resident of the White House (I can’t bring myself to call him President tonight) apologizes to our enemies for America, President Ronald Reagan showed what a true statesman he was with the following words:
We welcome change and openness; for we believe that freedom and security go together, that the advance of human liberty can only strengthen the cause of world peace. There is one sign the Soviets can make that would be unmistakable, that would advance dramatically the cause of freedom and peace. General Secretary Gorbachev, if you seek peace, if you seek prosperity for the Soviet Union and eastern Europe, if you seek liberalization, come here to this gate. Mr. Gorbachev, open this gate. Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!
An interesting insight is most of Reagan’s cabinet, including the worthless Colin Powell, thought the last line was “extreme” and “unpresidential.” Reagan wasn’t interested in making friends with the Soviet Union. He wanted to destroy it, which he did. Contrary to Hussein Hopenchange’s lies earlier this year, the Soviet Union did not go away because the communists were nice guys and recognized the evil of their ways. They were defeated by the actions of millions of vigilant, freedom loving patriots who had the guts to speak and act out for liberty! I heard someone say today on the radio that Obama is not worthy to drink from a toilet that Reagan used. I wish I were that eloquent!
In deference to the liberal mania that currently resides in both political parties in Washington, America was not founded or built by appeasing liberals. America is strong because of lovers of personal liberty, lovers of self-determination, lovers of those who would not be slaves to government! That is our legacy! That is our heritage! That is who we are as a country! We put our lives on the line to give liberty to other countries. We will do so to protect our own. We believe America is the greatest nation in history because of freedoms and opportunities granted to each of us.
How I long for the days of a President like Reagan. A true leader and statesman. We have not seen anything close to his equal since he left office. We have hit rock bottom with what we have now. Obama couldn’t bring himself to attend the service today in Germany. After al, it wasn’t about him. There were two groups of people sad at the destruction of the Berlin Wall all those years ago…..communists and Obama and his friends.
I will end this post with the sacred words of another great American patriot:

This is a culminating moment in history. I remember where I was when President Reagan was shot, recovered and couldn’t wait to cast my first vote for this first among equals President.
Later, my initial tour of duty was in a nuclear weapon system; we knew why we were there and where we were pointed at, the USSR.
President Reagan was a force of nature, statesman and leader. His legacy is sorely missed and barely echo’s today in American Gov’t…but make no mistake, RINO’s, libtards and the enemy’s of America, the echo is still heard, and it is gaining strength, momentum and is called to action.

Never cared for him as a cowboy in a western movie, but dammmmmmmm I liked him when he was president. He was a true Patriot, nothing like this piece of shit we now have to put up with for 3 more years,sucking up to our enemies. 3 more years, Un….lesssssss………………………
RIP, President Reagan. We miss you and your bold leadership. I am almost 68 years old and for the first time in my life, I am truly afraid for our Country. Yes, we’ve had some close calls and disturbing incidents in America I can remember – the Cuban Missile Crisis, the Vietnam War, the debacle Presidency of Jimmy Carter, etc., etc., but this time around, I believe we have people in Washington who truly want this Country to collapse. Lord help us!

A great man, who lead us through very dangerous times. None of the presidents after him were fit to shine his shoes. Come to think of it, very few before him were either. Watching the media celebration of the fall of the Berlin wall, you’d think it was Gorbachev who made it all happen. I lived through it, and I remember mainly Reagan, Thatcher, and a select few others that heralded us through those insane times. It’s too bad we don’t have that leadership now. Tough times are ahead folks, be on the lookout for the next Gipper.
IMO, Reagan was the ONLY president in my living memory, worth a crap, with the possible exception of “Ike”.
I was “just a pup” during Ikes’ term and I don’t know much about him,…except,{I think}, he got tough on illegal Mejicans.
By far, Reagan was the best president in my memory,….maybe I should rephrase that to say “the ONLY one” to deserve the office!
