John Allen Muhammad (sort of resembles another popular muslim)

At 9:11 tonight the Commonwealth of Virginia cleansed another bit of their environment with the execution of John Allen Muhammad.  Muhammad was another Muslim terrorist who went on a spree of killing “infidels” in an act that neither the Government nor the worthless “Main Stream Media” have the honesty to call what it was … domestic terrorism.

Muhammad was executed for killing Dean Harold Meyers, who was shot in the head at a Manassas, Virginia, gas station during a spree that left 10 dead across Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C.  The shootings terrorized the region starting on October 2, 2002, as victim after victim was shot down while doing everyday chores like going shopping, pumping gas, and mowing the lawn. One child was shot while walking into his middle school.  Altogether 14 people were shot … 10 victims died.

The reign of terror ended on Oct. 24, 2002, when police captured Muhammad and his teenage accomplice, Lee Boyd Malvo, as they slept at a Maryland rest stop in a car they had outfitted for a shooter to perch in its trunk without being detected.   Malvo was sentenced to life in prison.    Muhammad and Malvo were also convicted of six murders in Maryland and sentenced to six life terms.

Muhammad and Malvo were suspected of fatal shootings in other states, including Louisiana, Alabama and Arizona.

The motive for the shootings remains murky. Malvo said Muhammad wanted to use the plot to extort $10 million from the government to set up a camp in Canada where homeless children would be trained as terrorists.

When will we wake up and challenge the domestic terrorism among us?  Hopefully before it is too late.
