Today, reading and listening to the government controlled media talking morons it occurred to me…our country has returned to September 10, 2001. It has taken 8 years but we are back at square one in terms of national awareness of the dangers we face from radical Islam. I heard one libtard say today he was sad the murderer at Ft. Hood was Muslim because it will give the right wing something to exploit. Yes, it’s just like those evil conservatives to pin something like terrorism on Muslims….how crazy is that? We heard waste of oxygen Diane Sawyer say she had spoken with an anonymous military wife (of course you did, Diane) who said when she heard of the shootings she hoped the killer’s name was Smith instead of an Arab name. That I do believe! Sawyer and the rest of the ancient media have no problem disparaging the evil white men who are responsible for everything wrong in the world…including Islamic terrorism. However, heaven forbid they recognize the obvious!
I guess the blame really starts with President Bush, who after 9/11 continually referred to Islam as the “religion of peace.” He even invited an Imam to the prayer meeting at the National Cathedral to show how much Islam contributes to world peace. Much has been done in an attempt to mollify the “Muslim street.” Interesting how we don’t hear Muslims, even in America, wanting to appease the American street. Our politically correct so-called leaders invent ways to look the other way when Islamic terrorism is involved. Top Army General Casey even said he hoped the attack at Ft. Hood would not hurt the diversity program of the Army. This after the shootings of 30 American soldiers by a Muslim terrorist! Yes General Casey, I’d say that diversity program is working wonders! For Al Qaeda! Now, back to the Human Resources office! Suddenly, I don’t feel so secure anymore. You can bet the Chinese and Russian militaries are not concerned about diversity. They are probably concerning themselves with, call me crazy…killing the enemy and winning wars! But Hussein Hopenchange himself said the term “winning the war” concerned him. Yes, he has shown that for 10 months.
The average American citizen has long ago figured out that Islam and America do not mix. Muslims have no problem calling America the enemy that must be destroyed. America cannot even bring itself to call terrorist acts by Muslims terrorist acts. This head in the sand system of self-delusion will result in a lot of American deaths at the hands of Islamic terrorists. Obama doesn’t care about America or Americans. Even his Homeland Security idiot Janet Napolitano was in the middle east telling Muslims she was trying to minimize American “backlash” against Muslims by us crazy, violent Americans. Think about it….these are the people charged with keeping us safe! These are the people we depend on to protect us and our families. We are in deep trouble. Just as we were September 10, 2001

The Constitution trumps the UN and all international treaties and agreements. The U.S. Constitution cannot be subserviant to these. As for taking away our guns… FAT CHANCE!!! There are 305 million Americans and 90 million gun owners, many of which have more than one. Who are they going to send out to take your gun away? Once the word goes around that the government is confiscating American’s guns, the shooting will start. I pity the poor local policeman that comes up to many people’s doors and gets shot dead for his efforts. If the government takes my single Walther’s PP (.380 automatic), so what? I’ll turn around and buy a REAL assault rifle (the one that shoots full auto) on the black market — the gun that the government doesn’t know about. They cannot stop drugs and everything else coming into this country… do you honestly think they can keep guns out? Be realistic! When President Bush spoke at a CAIR event, took off his shoes etc. it made me furious…well more than furious, which I posted about at the time…still does when I think about it.

Hey, I lost the thread–but– I just read about a woman who had Homeland Security come to her house and investigate her after she called the mfr of her digital conversion to get the new digital TV signals. She said, (roughly) “somone ought to be shot in the head for making such a lousy device”.
She was told she should call the FCC –she did and they did help her over the phone. Later 2 “Official looking” cars showed up and they came into her house and questioned her.
Bear with me here. Those sons of bitches cannot remove an illegal alien or remove a crazy Muslim from the Army, but they can get themselves off their worthless asses and harass an American citizen with a legitimate complaint who makes and angry statement that any one of us might make.

I agree with pretty much everything that’s been said here. The exception is all of this talk of .223s, .9 MMs and .380s. I have two Semi AK-47 variants, one of which has had over 100,000 rounds run through it without a misfire of jam. (Or much cleaning) I’m definitely not trading that in on an AR-15. I own a nine, but I carry either a .45 or a .38 special. The nine (beretta) is my around the house gun. The .38 is my “running to the store” pistol, and the .45 is my “night on the town” choice. On a related note, Century Arms is manufacturing a 12 gauge double barrel “coach gun” that you can buy for 200-250 dollars retail. The quality isn’t bad for the price, and the gun just looks awesome. It’s definitely a tide over until someone decides to release a civilian version of the AA-12. Screw that overpriced “streetsweeper”, I want me a stainless 12 gauge with a twenty round clip.

Tom, I’ll be using Spear Gold Dot 124+P JHP ammo in my Glock 19 for self defense. I’m sure that will do the job. I did consider the Glock 23 but I get 2 more rounds with the 19 plus ammo is cheaper meaning I can practice more. I went to a shooting range yesterday and the 19 is powerful enough for me.
