UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI FIGHT SONG KEEPS BLACKS DOWN

THEY EVEN HAVE A WHITE MASCOT!

THEY EVEN HAVE A WHITE MASCOT!

The Chancellor of the University of Mississippi has banned the song “From Dixie With Love” from being played at athletic events! Students in the stands refused to stop chanting “the South will rise again” so Chancellor Dan Jones prohibited the future playing of the fan favorite. The song is a medley of “Dixie,” “All My Trials” and the “Battle Hymn of the Republic” written by an assistant band director in the mid-1970s. All AWD can say is, it’s about time! The evil song Dixie has kept millions of black Americans down for centuries! Just take a look at these hateful lyrics (AWD is almost ashamed to post them):

O, I wish I was in the land of cotton
Old times there are not forgotten
Look away! Look away!
Look away! Dixie Land.

In Dixie Land where I was born in
Early on one frosty mornin’
Look away! Look away!
Look away! Dixie Land.

Chorus:
O, I wish I was in Dixie!
Hooray! Hooray!
In Dixie Land I’ll take my stand
To live and die in Dixie
Away, away,
Away down south in Dixie!

Oh, the hate in those words! The pure unadulterated racism that Dixie advocates! How much damage can one song be permitted to do? Especially in this post-racial time where President Barack Hussein Obama has taught everyone to love everyone….except white devils. A little known fact (hidden by white racist devils) is the 70% of black children born to single black mothers were procreated while their mothers and baby-daddies listened to Dixie on the stereo! The crimes that put over 1 million black males in prison were committed while humming the subliminal messages of institutional racism in that very same song….Dixie! Black children drop out of school at a much higher percentage rate than other races because rap versions of Dixie have poisoned their minds. Even rap artists such as Snoop Dixie Dogg are encouraging young black children to “bust a dixie cap in a ni**as ass.”

Evil white southerners at the University of Mississippi with their sinister history and so-called love of their homeland have succeeded. They have kept all American blacks down by playing and singing Dixie for generations. Robert E. Lee was right all the time! We owe Chancellor Jones a deep debt of gratitude! Now that Dixie will no longer be heard at UMiss football games, we can look forward to black Americans creating less crimes, staying in school, abandoning violence and black children being raised by two parents! There will no longer be a need for the NAACP, United Negro College Fund…or Negro colleges, BET, Miss Black America, the Black Chamber of Commerce or any of the other benevolent institutions that have fought against the one thing that has held down blacks for so long…..Dixie!

Just think about it…black students will also be finally allowed to attend the University of Mississippi! My sincere hope is that the hate-filled song Dixie will be replaced with something that brings all people together such as “We Shall Overcome.” Or another song that represents love and black pride, the rap song “I be lookin’ fo bitches and ho’s.”

People messing with Ole Miss. Take the flag, take the colonel, and now a song?

    Crying shame.

  2. J in MS says:

Stunning, but not surprising. It’s already been tried with our state flag. It was “offensive”, so they wanted to change it. Didn’t happen.
They removed Colonel Reb from the field, but not the history of the mascot. Who happened to be based off of Jim Ivy, who was considered a campus celebrity, and who also happened to be a blind black man. They tried to replace Reb, but the students didn’t really get into it. So the admin dropped it. The Colonal still lives in Oxford, but not on campus anymore.
So go ahead and ban Dixie. The students on Ole Miss will just sing
    louder.

  3. BayouBoy says:

This attempt at Political Correctness gone-amuck will only succeed if the students and fans allow it to succeed.
There is nothing in the song that even comes close to a hint of racism! Quite a stretch….Stand tall, Rebs!

  4. bigtimer says:

    Color me furious.

    Contempt, disgust.

    Disgrace.

    I want my country back…

I will never see the return…and I know it.

  5. blue eyed devil says:

WTF? Whats next? All AWD’s have to line up for voluntary castration?

  6. twodogs257 says:

One of our local high schools, Maryville High School called the Rebels lost the stars and bars as their flag a few years ago due to PC. I don’t get it. However, flying a communist flag over the capitol or lighting the Empire State Bldg in red and yellow to celebrate 60 years of communist reign of China, is OK? Give me a feckin’ break!

  7. olds442 says:

Any blacks who feel “slighted” by the Ol’ Miss song, should immediately transfer to the University of Nigeria, with the understanding that once they fly into Nigeria, their U.S. passports will be confiscated and destroyed.

Afterwards, they can play football in the jungle. According to local custom, the losing team is thrown to a pack a ravenous hyenas. How’s that, kids?

  8. iw says:

O, I wish I was in the land of Hopenchange
Old times there are best forgotten
    Mmmm! Mmmm!
    Mmmm! Obama Land.

In Obama Land where I was born in
    Early on one frosty mornin’
    Mmmmy! Mmmmm!
    Mmmmm! Obama Land.

    Chorus:
O, I wish I was in Obama Land!
    Mmmm! Mmmmm!
In Obama Land I’ll pay my tax
To give and die in Obama Land
    Away, away,
Away with my rights in Obama Land!

  9. stevil says:

africoon Americans are 13% of the population and cause 90% of our problems, they way I see it. I hate diversity and political correctness.

  10. JimB says:

Could this chancellor happen to be BLACK!!
If not, he’s acting like a frikken imbecile. If the students let this shithead get away with this, they deserve what they get.Another instance of the “silent majority” remaining silent for fear of being politically incorrect. F***K ME!!!

  11. DeltaWolf says:

In a high school called Marysville-Pilchuck High School (in Marysville, WA, next to Everett, north of Seattle), a few students were expelled for having a Confederate flag painted on the hood of one of their trucks and for possessing and displaying a Confederate flag in school.

  12. Gunner says:

Is it just me or are all of you getting goddamn tired of kissing every minorities ass? If they don’t like it here GET THE HELL OUT!

  13. bigtimer says:

    iw…

That was good…and says it all!

  14. bigtimer says:

    DW…

It’s everywhere…it makes me sick whats happened to Wa. and Oregon….the left are all working on all the NW..and they’ve made huge inroads over the last two decades.

    It’s pathetic.

  15. bigtimer says:

Gunner…they aren’t going anywhere, they want us to though.

  16. Willi says:

If Dixie and the Confederate flag are the biggest issues in the black community today, then they don’t have any problems and they don’t need Sharpton and Jackson!

On a side note, before the War (for Southern Independence) if you were a free man of color and living in Mississippi, you could attend the university. Up to 1850, if you were a free man of color in North Carolina, you could vote!

  17. J in MS says:

JimB, the chancellor is some pasty white dude…with no backbone.
Oh, here’s something that I found quite irritating.

  18. Young Angry White Male says:

Gunner, I grew tired of kissing colored ass a few years ago. Now, I am an unapologetically proud white person who doesn’t cower in the presence of angry blacks. The history of the world has shown us that a society cannot function when numerous racial groups dwell within. No educated person can look around the world and tell me that diversity is a strength. When has the dominant group ever voluntarily given up power to groups they have oppressed? As I’ve said before, I say it’s about time we members of the so-called “dominant group” started acting like members of the dominant group.

  19. bob & Kate says:

I was sitting at a red light in Columbus Ohio and a young black fellow pulled up next to me in the other lane . His radio was thumping out a rap song and the lyrics were ” n***r got a big d**k ,n****r got a big d**k , n***r got a big d**k , big d**k yeah ! He stared straight ahead and would not meet my gaze and did not get to see my teeth showing in a most massive grin . I would have been glad to compare ” Old Chunky ” to any darker appendage as the wife refers to him . I got to get that CD . HA!HA!HA! Now I suppose I should have been offended . That’s the new wave . Don’t offend anyone .

  20. Johnny Anger says:

Elvis used to sing this as “American Trilogy”

  21. UncleWhitey says:

If Dixie offends them they should move north, maybe Canada? They treat Negroes like kings there.

  22. Snake Oiler says:

The future U.S.? I’ve got one word for you — Yugoslavia.

  23. Col. Sanders says:

I suppose the offended assclowns have forgotten Chucky Mullins…

  24. Moons says:

What a shame. Some people really need to look at the truth of the south and the civil war. People dont know history. This is my favorite song of all time.

  25. Doorman56 says:

To be completely honest, I think all of you are complete morons and obviously not Christians. Christianity teaches to love all people, no matter what skin color. Unfortunately, we whites arent here by ourselves. What if we were the minority race? We would want negroes and mexicans to treat us with some dignity and respect. What if they had a fight song with cracker or peckerwood in the song? Y’all just care about yourselves, but I dont judge. I let the one and only God judge me because i love everybody.

  26. olds442 says:

    ShowHimtheDoor:

“What if we were the minority race?”

In that case, you’d have to move to Canada, because America would become something a lot worse than Rhodesia, real fast. You would just have time to toss your family and clothing into the car and drive due north. And I’m not just whistlin’ Dixie.

  27. bigred says:

    @PleaseUsetheDoor

Where oh where do I begin?? You don’t actually proclaim it, but I’m assuming you consider yourself a Christian. Christians are to be honest, so why do you feel the need to say you are being “completely honest”? That tells me you are sometimes not honest and have to make sure people know you are serious this time. And just what is the difference between being honest and “completely honest”?

“Christianity teaches us to love all people…” I don’t know about anyone else, but I’m not feelin’ a whole lotta love for me coming through your post.

In the song “Dixie”, what on earth do you consider the equivalent of cracker or peckerwood?
Peckerwood???? I haven’t heard that word since eighth grade (and that was a long time ago for me). I guess it could be the name of a very unfortunate pirate.

But my favorite comes next: “…but I don’t judge.” This is just a few lines after calling all of us “complete morons”, and then looking into the heart of each and every one of us AND looking into the mind of Christ Almighty Himself to be able to declare and broadcast that we are “obviously not Christians.” If that ain’t judging…

You’re more of a bigot that anyone who regularly contributes to this blog.

  28. bigred says:

    @PleaseUsetheDoor

Oh yeah, that’s along with being an arrogant hypocrite.

  29. rocknrollnole says:

    @Doorman56
Got to agree with everything bigred said. If you are going to make comments expressing dissatisfaction with anything, for the sake of us that are Christians, please leave the “fact” that you are a Christian out. Don’t embarrass yourself.

  30. KindaNotReally says:

why are we always so afraid of coloreds? it is as if we fear they are able to overthrow the white race if they had the same opportunities afforded us. so we’re stingy with our power and greedy for more. calm your flat asses down. we run everything, everywhere. soon we’ll take their little negro-filled Haiti and make it into a vacation spot for our spoiled bitchy brats.

…well, that felt good. now i can log off and go back to being too afraid to say this sh*t in a negroe’s face again.

  31. bigred says:

    @KNR

I started writing a reasoned response to your posting. I had six or seven lines written when I looked back at it to make sure I was covering all of your points. That was when I decided what you were saying wasn’t as important as what I think is underneath all of it. I think underneath everything there is a lot of anger and fear…toward and of everybody. So instead of a reasoned response, I think it would be better to give you a little friendly and well-meaning advice (if I may be so forward) – go see a therapist.

  32. steve says:

The Southern people must be right cause we sure do catch the flak.

  33. bigtimer says:

Doorman is regular comedian…he better keep his day job…if he has one.

  34. Bob Myers says:

    Tend to your own business.

  35. AWD says:

Bob Myers, I’ll attend to any damn business I want! Don’t waste my time with stupid comments.

  36. tcovin says:

    omg…..you’re some really uninformed people…

I wish I was in de land of cotton,
    Old times dar am not forgotten;
Look away! Look away! Look away! Dixie Land.
In Dixie Land whar I was born in,
    Early on one frosty mornin,
Look away! Look away! Look away! Dixie Land
    Old Missus marry “Will-de-weaber,”
    Willium was a gay deceaber;
Look away! Look away! Look away! Dixie Land.
But when he put his arm around’er,
He smiled as fierce as a forty-pound’er,
Look away! Look away! Look away! Dixie Land
Dar’s buck-wheat cakes an ‘Ingen’ batter,
    Makes you fat or a little fatter;
Look away! Look away! Look away! Dixie Land.
Den hoe it down an scratch your grabble,
To Dixie land I’m bound to trabble.
Look away! Look away! Look away! Dixie Land.
IS THAT CLEAR ENOUGH FOR YOU?
DO I NEED TO BRING IT DOWN A NOTCH FOR THE SLOW!
