OBAMACARE OPEN POST
Thinking people have lost another battle to socialist scum in Washington to destroy our health care system. We haven’t lost the war but things aren’t looking too good. The DemonRats are on a kamikaze course to socialize as much of America before the Republicans are voted back into control. I guess they figure the wussypants Repubs of the past don’t have the cojones to overturn any laws crammed down the throat of tax payers. If they’re thinking of the current bunch of Republican clutzes, they are right. However, the times are a changin’ big time for wussypants Republicans with the advent of the tea party. Fiscally responsible politicians will rescue the party…and the country.
Open post question: Do you think ObamaCare will pass? Do you think they can muster the votes? AWD believes it will pass. With the disgusting, dishonest dirtbags Pelosi and Reid giving away hundreds of millions of OUR tax dollars to buy votes…I believe it’s a done deal. I hope I’m wrong. What do you think? Also, how do we now combat the furthering of this disastrous government run health care? If you’re too angry to talk about ObamaCare, sound off on whatever comes to mind.
I am one of the people you can categorize as too angry to comment. But, I want to say that I am actually very frightened for our country.
It all started when I heard that Obama announced his ambitions to become President of the United States.
When his wife said that this was the first time that she was proud of her country, I knew that it was a stick it to whitey campagn from the get go.
Now, its deeper than that. This is a revolution. In thiry years, where will we be? Will I have to live as a mountain man because it is too dangerous to live in the populated part of the states? Im a White Man. I am proud of my heritage. I have nothing to do with slavery. But I am looked at as an enemy. Laws have been passed to procecute people who commit acts of hate against others. Except if the crime is committed against me, its not a hate crime. No matter what.
So, for me, it goes deeper than the heath care fiasco. Its much deeper than that.
This last week, the history channel has been running the Second World War in HD. Whenever I see it, it reminds me how far we came from patriotic Americans to morons who vote based on race and gender and nothing else while I mindlessly go about my buisness.

In Washington D.C., there exists a gigantic sausage machine called the Office of the Budget. Goverment revenues are fed into this sausage machine, and various flavors of pork sausages come out of the other end. The scam of “universal health care for all Americans” is a giant Ponzi scheme whereby new tax revenues generated from the middle class are supposedly ear-marked for mandatory health care and are then fed into this sausage machine. What comes out of the other end is altogether different. In fact, those health care revenues could be transformed into ANYTHING.
There is a direct connection between funding the gigantic federal deficit, and these new health care taxes and related penalties for non-compliance.
Hey, didn’t someone once say 240 years ago that “taxation without representation is tyranny?” Where’s that guy now?
Here’s the truth. Iran’s getting bombed by Israel before next year and gas is going to at least $4.00. Everyone will forget all about this way before cap and trade gets passed and unemployment soars above 12%. Before that happens, hug your son, daughter, grandchild, etc. If you have the means, make this the most memorable Thanksgiving/Christmas they’ll ever have. Enjoy the holiday season, and enjoy your loved ones.
I don’t think it will pass in the end. Democrats,by nature are wimps,they will be too scared of the people and their elections to pass it. There will a group that bands together over an issue or two and it will be an issue that the Socialist refuse to take out. These American hating scumbags need to be thrown out of our country. I hate them all.

The Congress is continuing its work to try to get healthcare reform legislation, and I believe the prospects are reasonably good that we will produce a bill. I hope that the bill will have the public option – and a robust public option. We will have a cloture vote tonight and I believe that we should be able to get 60 Senators at least to agree to start the debate.

It would be my hope that my colleagues would not draw lines in the sand or stay in inflexible positions. We need to move ahead, and doing nothing is not an option. The problems of so many millions of Americans uninsured and the problems of the rising healthcare costs makes it imperative that action be taken.
I think that the bill which has been proposed is a very, very good start. It is obviously subject to amendments and some modification. But the total cost has come in at about $850 billion over 10 years and is projected to save about $130 billion to reduce the deficit. In the second decade it is projected to save even more, up to as much as $650 billion. President Obama has committed not to sign a healthcare bill which adds to the deficit, and I’m committed not to vote for a healthcare bill that adds to the deficit.
It is my hope that the bill will emerge with very strong provisions on preventative care. That includes annual examinations without additional costs and encouraging people to have the annual exams to catch many problems at their early stages, like heart disease or ailments, before they develop into debilitating and expensive chronic diseases. I disagree with the recent recommendations to cut back on mammogram screenings or pap smears. I think that early detection is vital and well worth the cost. I can tell you from my personal experience: an MRI detected a brain tumor the size of a golf ball between my skull and my brain back in 1993. It could have been a very, very serious matter had that early detection not occurred.
Healthcare reform is vital and we’re determined to get a good bill.

I’m glad you switched to being a democrat, for I feel that you have shown your true colors. You are an asshole and you always have been. You have seen your last term as Senator, as the next election will show. Ronald Reagan lives!
Don’t be so discouraged people, God is on our side,they are the people who fight to get his name removed from everywhere it exist and we are the people who fight to keep his name alive in America. Good always prevails,this is a trial, we are told we would have trials and tribulations,people of faith are always tested more than those that do not believe, God is stronger than the evil Satanic cult of the left wing,we have to be strong,pat each other on the back for support and carry those who want to give up. Even if some of the Left’s Nuremberg Laws are passed, they can be overturned in 2010 and beyond. The problem is, once the (D) and (R) jackals in DC have tasted fresh pork on the hoof, it will be nearly impossible to keep them from continuing their feeding frenzy.

please continue writing it is important for the public to have access to the information you provide. It looks like the Osamacare will pass and America is moving more towards socialism and the idea os trickle up poverty is spreading. we need to be more involved in opposing it. Write your congessmen, take part in the tea party, and be vigilant. The strongerst leaders act and never react.
I think it will pass as well. WIth a 60-39 to move on to a debate on healthcare, I see the same outcome when they vote on the final bill. Leiberman and Snowe are a joke and undependable as is Specter.
I live in a red state and district and have called to let both senators and rep know how I feel about this bill and I know they will vote against it (primarily to go along with their fellow repubes), but I’ll take a NO vote anyhow I can get it

So it will pass, as will the Cap&Tax bill. Our taxes will go up, our quality of life will further go down and it will be all under the disguise for helping people get health insurance AND to save mother earth. Our congressman sent a copy of the House bill to our local library-all 2000 plus pages for the general public to look over. Crap, the table of contents will make your eyes glaze over. With the Senate version at another 2000 plus that’s about 40 lbs of paper.
There going to need the entire output of all pulp paper mills in the country for the next year to print this piece of crap.
More legislation/beauracracy = More paper to print these outrageous bills = Less trees = More CO2 in the atmosphere. Seems that would be shooting themselves in the foot with regards to the Cap&Tax Bill.
I have a stupid question: If something is SO important like reforming Health Care / Insurance, should it be required to tried as an amendment to the Constitution?? If this was the case, then the bill would have never made it out of the House b/c an amendment requires 2/3 vote in both house and senate. Then it goes to the states for 3/4 approving of the bill.
I don’t know, maybe I need brushing up on my civics, but it seems to me that Congress has gotten way out of hand and pushes things through way too fast; whereby requiring an Amendment to the Constitution would put some reigns on all these outrageous bills. Any input?

I have this suspicion that something really gigantic is going to be taking place shortly after the first of the year. I’m not sure what it will be but there is going to be some major bloodshed. I hope all of the Patriots out there are prepared and stocked up. All of us Vets I know are ready, willing and able because we know that we can’t count on the sissy-pantyass population. My gut tells me it’ll be Obama f–king up and pissing someone off… either the drug cartels south of our State or the Muslim terrorists that are allowed to roam our land. I can’t believe the number of college kids and adults under 30 that don’t know anything what so ever about US Government. This was done so that the socialists could slowly make their stand. One thing they screwed up on was they started one generation too soon because there are still a shitload of us old Nam Vets out there that remember where the real war was…in our own homeland and we are still pissed. If they had waited until all of us old bastards had died off, they would have had no opposition to their corruption. I still remember what freedom is and why we fought for it!

I share the concern that at some point in the near future things may get ugly–and, even worse, that “things getting ugly” may be our best option.
