It’s no secret. Angry White Dude doesn’t care much for Hollywood types. I find them largely to be self-obsessed morons with the mental capacity of a sponge. Ed Begley, Jr. is one strange cat. He’s the guy who pedals a generator to produce enough electricity to cook, rides his bike everywhere he goes and, of course, has it in his pointy head that global warming is a scientific fact. Here Ed squares off with the wise and reasoned Stuart Varney yesterday:
Ed, who just looks like he’s a beer short of a six-pack, keeps droning on about “peer-reviewed” scientific data. But what he doesn’t mention is what happens when the peers are lying just like the scientists manipulating the data? We recently found out that scientists were altering the numbers and even admitting the data didn’t support their theories about global warming in last week’s hacking into the University of East Anglia. What a big surprise! The University of East Anglia (Go Tigers!) is one of the leading universities in the creation…ummm….study of global warming. It’s hard to explain how the Earth is warming when global temperatures have been dropping for the past 10 years. A baseball playoff game in Colorado was SNOWED out! There are too many competent voices against global warming and too many people who support it with financial interests…hello Al Gore…to make me very uncomfortable with it’s existence. Also, anything Ed Begley, Jr. believes is a big red flag for the AWD. And no scientist has been able to explain how humans affect the climate when they cannot explain why the Earth has had three ice ages.
I have no problem with tools like Ed Begley living like a cave man. Hey, he’s from California…a state full of idiots. I don’t care if he eats tree bark and howls at the moon. But I do mind him and his fellow earth warming libtards telling me I cannot drive my F-150. That’s the problem with libs…they want to control the lives of everyone else. Conservatives want to live and let live. Like I said, I don’t care if Ed Begley, Jr. covers himself with feathers and quacks around the yard…as long as he quacks in California…that’s normal behavior out there. Just leave me alone and don’t make up science. Like I say over and over, don’t pee on my boots and tell me it’s raining. Remember, if Al Gore, Nancy Pelosi and Ed Begley believe something…it HAS to be false!

I’m not talking about the “we have to stop manufacturing everything to save the owls, whales or polar bear” type of enviro-whacko, but some common sense environmentalism.
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle actually makes a ton of sense.
We’ve come almost full circle in relation to shopping bags. Now there’s the “reusable bags” like the canvas bags that my parents & grandparents used to bring groceries home in. This cuts the amount of middle east petroleum needed for plastic bags.
Hell, take the idiots on the government tit and put them to work sorting recyclables from garbage. Then incinerate the rest for power generation. (You can’t tell me that there’s no technology to process the emissions and make this cleaner)
I personally support the idea of utilizing wind, solar & water for energy generation in ADDITION to new nuclear power plants.
Anything to help rid us of the dependence on imported oil. I also support drilling here and building new refineries (again, there has to be an improvement in refining technologies making the process more “environmentally friendly” than a 50-100 year old refinery)
Another White Dude, I find everything you said perfectly reasonable. One thing is certain, it is ridiculous to keep transferring our wealth to the middle east when we are sitting on seas of oil in the US!

If Gorey Al really believes that climate change is man-made, I suggest he fly the friendly skies of United at 50,000 feet and take a good look down to get a real feeling of how puny mankind is. It’s pretty obvious that if the tilt of the earth was altered by one or two degrees, the effect would be catastrophic- think 2012. If G-d wasn’t CONSTANTLY watching over us, we’d all be toast within seconds. Even the multi-billionaires of the NWO hiding like rats in their bunkers underneath the NWO Denver Airport would be fried like eggs.

Basically, he stuffs his face with several cases of cooked baked beans, sits in a modified kiddie wagon or sled, and attaches a pilot flame to his rear end that goes full throttle when Al starts producing methane gas in industrial quantities. He calls it the Fartmobile, and hopes to have these new products in your favorite department stores in time for Christmas. What a guy!

100% agree with everything you said. It also helps if you plan your life out a little. I drive a 6 cylinder ford, but I go through only a tank of gas every two weeks. When I make a trip, I get more than one thing accompished with it. For instance, if I’m going to my local gun shop, I’ll go to shooting range on the same day. Mutli-tasking is a wonderful thing.
A(n)WD – Nuclear Power. Fission now, fusion when we get that figured out. Hundreds of (hopefully less) years from now, we will be creating power with water as the by product.

Recycling, wind,solar, water, and nuclear are all great. But most of our energy comes from coal and oil.
Untill that changes(and it will), last I heard we import more oil from Canada than anywhere else. If I am wrong, please let me know.
That being said, I have heard that in the next few years North Dakota will be considered the next saudi arabia. I also think that we need more refineries, I understand that the last new one was built in the 70′s. Once again, please correct me if I am wrong. But it only makes sense to me that if we produce more oil and can refine more oil, than energy prices can come back down to where they belong.
I will continue to drive my 1980 Chevrolet Suburban( 350 small block with a weiand 144 supercharger on it) without worrying that I am causing the earths temp to rise.
On another note, AWD I love this site. I have found everyone here (for the most part) to be on target with the facts. I have found many new places for information here. Thank you all.

I heard about it on Rush Wed. morning, fetched the link, loved it, they always do a great job….if any of you didn’t click on the link and watch it…you’re missing out on some great work they did, let a lot of fun…they do this parody to the then of ‘Draggin’ a Line’ from Tommy James and the Shondells.
