I want to say I am happy Barack Hussein Obama is our President! I know what you’re thinking. You’re thinking “who kidnapped the real AWD?” You’re thinking, “the AWD’s gone plum loco!” You’re thinking, “the AWD has started drinking Perrier and reading GQ!” Well, dudes, nothing is further from the truth! This is the one and only AWD writing from the Captain’s chair as I do every night.
Why would I be happy Hussein Hopenchange is the President? Because he has awakened American patriots who have for years sat back and watched America go to Hell! Middle-class tax payers have awakened from the mind-numbing slumbers induced from years of watching American Idol and Dancing With The Stars and are saying “Enough! No more!” Face it, the people who pay the bills for America have been asleep since Ronald Reagan left office. We have slowly watched the DemonRats turn into open socialists. We have awakened to find the Republican party has become the Democrat party of 25 years ago. Our taxes are too high, our government has borrowed and spent us into near bankruptcy and our current elected “leaders” want to nationalize every segment of our faltering economy. No one in Washington speaks of fiscal responsibility. Hell, no one even considers if the disastrous laws they pass are Constitutional anymore! They will soon fully realize the gigantic errors of their ways!
I credit Barack Hussein Obama for fully awakening the sleeping conservative giant. Conservatives are angry and politicians are nervous. The tea party movement has brought millions of hard-working taxpayers off of their couches and turned them into political activists. AWD is confident a President McCain would have kept us asleep with his moderate, Democrat-lite politics and his “reaching across the aisle” BS. American needed this generation’s Jimmy Carter. And we got it…except worse! Barack Obama is so bad that independent voters who elected him are bailing in droves after 11 months! His tanking approval ratings have slunk to a pitiful 45%!
In the short term, Barack Obama is a disaster zone for America. In the long run, he is the best thing that could have ever happened to us. With the DemonRats in Congress following Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid over the cliff of stupidity, the DemonRat party will kill itself for a generation. America continues to be a conservative nation. The socialist wackos now in charge do not understand that Americans will not allow our country to turn into Venezuela. They will begin understanding in November of 2010!
So thank you Barack Hussein Obama. Thank you for doing what no Republican could have done. Sometimes we must be in total darkness before we realize it was much better in the light!

Look, I’d like to believe that President Obama (that’s right, he is the president whether you like or not, might as well at least give him credit for a game well played) has woken up the Conservatives in America…but I just don’t see it. If you’re going to talk about approval ratings then don’t forget what Bush’s approval rating were (in case you did then here’s a link http://www.gallup.com/poll/110806/bushs-approval-rating-drops-new-low-27.aspx).
Ya’ll need to realize that my generation consists of, for the most part, a bunch of apathetic idiots who don’t care enough to find out what’s really going on.
It’s good if ya’ll are beginning to stand up but my generation is going to be the next crop of leaders in this country and, as I see every day, they just don’t care.
Until my generation gets a kick in the ass, any work you guys do is wasted because it will just go to hell all over again.
Josh, one small correction, your generation doesn’t vote. Ours does! Young people are ignorant because they have not experienced life…they will grow more conservative with the years. Especially when the government is taking the majority of their checks to pay for this President’s spending.

Josh, I see what you’re saying. You seem to be a young man coming into his own and starting to realize that there is a cyclical trend in history. That’s no reason to give up, that just means you’re smarter than your peers. Make sure your own moral compass is strong, then follow it for the rest of your life.

The real people, those who retained mostly old American values, were sufficiently distracted by a tidal wave of booze, easily available drugs, pornography, sports and other dubious forms of ‘entertainment’. ‘Thoughtcrime’ has became a reality, though about a quarter century later than the title suggested. Big Brother really is watching. And listening. It has to do with ‘fairness’. Everyone wants to be fair, right? The reasonable thinking conservative would believe in equality of opportunity. The problem is, that leftists believe in equality of outcome. Consider the analogy of the country as an individual afflicted with a dreaded and possibly incurable disease. The fellow might want to get at least a basic understanding of what is killing him. Read the Constitution. Understand Hamilton’s view as opposed to Jefferson’s (the correct one). Read the Federalist Papers. You get insight on why our current government is taking more control of the economy. Read Madison’s Notes on the Constitution. Read de Tocqueville’s Democracy in America. Our ultimate undoing will be brought about by freeloaders using the vote to legislate their way into the pockets of productive citizens. Learn about John Stuart Mills ideas on voter qualifications. They are not in line ACORN or those of a certain former ‘community organizer’. I could go on forever. I almost forgot Gibbon’s Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire. When the end came, the last emperor was deemed to be so utterly worthless, the conquerors decided he literally wasn’t worth killing. Sounds like a current alleged ‘leader of the free world’. Ramble on. My point, roundabout, is that we were forewarned. Unrevealed knowledge is of little use. Enlighten someone. And remember this. Your mind is your primary weapon.
Also read Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. I know it’s fiction but it will give you an insight about what’s happening to our country today.
By the way Helen Thomas the dean of the white house press corps(who’s been around since FDR), is also thankful that we have a black president albeit for different reasons.

The way I see it,Bozobama has done more damage than Al Queda could have ever done to the United States. The thing about Osama Bin Laden (who was an economics major) is that he believes the way to cripple the United States is to frickin bankrupt it…which is why Bin Laden was focused on the World Trade center as a target, the airline industry and the stock market,etc… Osama wanted the United States to enter a long drawn out military campaign and spend,spend,spend….now, Osama knew the United States’ past, like Vietnam or Somalia for example..and he thought the United States would eventually leave Iraq disgraced like the other times. Bin Laden bragged about what they did to our stock market after 9/11, thankfully our economy,at that time, came back after that frickin fiasco….however, with the weak belly libtards in our country who have no stomach for a long prolonged war,Bozo was able to capture their hearts with the mantra that he was against the Iraq war from the beginning. Bozo somehow won not only the Democratic nomination, but the United States presidency, which was a victory for Osama Bin Laden and Al Qaeda…because in their warped minds this proved that the United States has no stomach for a long drawn out war.
Now with a frickin Bozo administration: The war on terror is now labeled an “overseas contingency”…

Samuel, did I not say I was thankful Obama is the President? As for your 8% number, you need to stop watching MSNBC. Obama has signed a $787 billion stimulus bill into law to keep unemployment under 8% (it’s now over 10%), proposed a $3.6 trillion budget for the next fiscal year,and is responsible for a massive $700 billion Wall Street bailout program. Also, if you had read any of my posts concerning Bush, you’d know I am not a fan and have been extremely critical of his 8 years.

Samuel, isn’t this the best day to bring it up? Today we celebrate the things we are thankful for. For me the Constitution and the Founding Fathers and the Federalists Papers come to mind. For you its the love of the dear leader. I can’t think of one positive thing that Hussein Hopenchange has done for this country that we can be thankful for.
I’m thankful because millions of sheeple are waking the hell up out there…we should see the results of that in less than a year…and ’12 ought to be the real awakening for the leftist enemies within.

You blame the president for so much, but just like Bush, he isn’t responsible for all you try to pin on him. The unemployment rate was predicted to be around 12-13% if nothing was done back in August (I work for a republican administration who listened to economic analyst talk about it before things really got bad). You cry about the health care privatizing (he has talked about that for the last few years, the media needs a story to spin so they continue to spin it), He said he would get rid of lobbiest, which isn’t completely true (But are also the main people campaigning against the bloated healthcare system). There was a lot set in place, I agree he is wish-washy sometime, but unfortunately, until your AKA (American Kracker ASS) has to deal with being America’s first black president, but still act like every other white president, you’ll never know what kind of pressure that puts on you. You people that talk about believing in what this country stands for complains how everything precious to you is getting stripped away, and always have an insult ready for the president, but never pray for your president. That’s simply because in your heart of hearts will never accept a black man as the head of your country, and someone you will accept is the most powerful man on the planet.
