When the U.S. practiced isolationism, we were still able to uphold our own interests. I suggest you actually do some research on it.

‘Fantastical’ alternative energy? Other countries have been able to do it (one of them being Brazil=third-world country). France is on nuclear energy and they’re doing very well.
