THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN REPUBLICANS AND DEMOCRATS
Man, was it a good day for the AWD! 70 degrees, running around with my little filly and watching a great football game between Bama and Auburn! A friend and I started talking about the two political parties at half-time and he showed me this clip:
The more things change, the more they stay the same! Both political parties have enslaved us with more taxes and less freedoms than ever before! As AWD has said, the current DemonRats are now openly socialist wanting government control over every aspect of our lives. The wussypants Republicans today are DemonRats of 30 years ago gulping the poison of political correctness and spending us into oblivion whenever they have the opportunity!
The answer is to vote in the upcoming primaries! AWD has never voted in a primary but will never again make that mistake! It is crunch time for American patriots. We must not sit back and accept the garbage that either party throws at us. Never again must we accept a pathetic Republican Presidential candidate like John McCain or Bob Dole! It is time for every tax paying American to get involved in politics at the national, state and local level! We must get involved in out school boards and let our voice be heard. More Atlas Shrugged and less Malcolm X! We want civics taught and we want our children to read of the visions of the Founding Fathers!
If you have not yet joined a Tea Party, get your sorry ass off the couch, Google your local group and get active! We in Dallas are mobilizing and organizing at the neighborhood level to bring the message of fiscal responsibility to our friends and neighbors! We will put tens of thousands of new voters in the March primary booths! My favorite saying is “if you’re going to be a bear, be a grizzly.” Are you ready to growl and scare the hell out of the bureaucrats in Washington? You damn well better be or accept the destruction of the United States!

Great video.
We vote in our local area elections as often as possible, primaries, state wide issues etc…always will..plus write letters to papers and such, I also make a lot of calls over the years, from editors across this land to congress-critters and talk shows, TV and radio, internet goes without saying.
We have to get the word out and fight like heck…we have no choice now, or this country will never be the same in my opinion, we will not be able to undo what may happen soon enough with this administration in.
Yep, I will be voting primaries next year. I have not missed voting in any general election since registering to vote in ’84. I have seldom voted in primaries, but next year especially, the primaries will be as important as the general election. The times they are a-changin’ (hopefully!)
Firebirdman, excellent! We need all tax paying patriots to vote in the primaries. Millions of us who have never voted in primaries before.

Vote early and vote often!
I LOVE THIS SITE, NO BS!
Keep on keepin on.
Yes it is very important that we vote, and tell all your friend that think that their vote does not mater to vote too!
Primaries offer choices, usually a wide range of philosophies, yet turnout is low almost every time. General elections often feature two pitiful candidates, a limited choice, yet turnout is much better than in primaries every time. The opposite should be the case. Look at the creeps who barely win then stay around for many years, for example, plagiarizin’ Joe Biden, 37 years now.
Hell,I even vote in the local school board elections…
I utilize my right to the fullest..I consider it like taking the trash out, leave it too long and it starts to stink…if ya catch my drift. ;D
Roll Tide!
Would someone please take the garbage out? There seems to some trash in our White House.
SOME trash? Heck I can’t see the White house over the mountain of garbage that’s piled up in Washington. I can even smell the stink here.
The biggest difference between conservatives and liberals is that liberals know how to organize themselves, and have been organizing for many years. It’s time to show that conservatives can do that too.
I will be voting in the primaries too,….and I’ll drag all my kinfolks, friends and neighbors along too.
I saw this while I was leaving a post on the “Muslim…” next to it, and it reminded me of the following example:
How do you tell the difference between Democrats, Republicans, and Southerners?
Pose the following question:
You’re walking down a deserted street with your wife (or husband) and two small children. Suddenly, a dangerous looking man with a wild look in his eyes and a huge knife in his hand comes around the corner. He locks eyes with you, screams obscenities, raises the knife, and charges right at you. You are carrying an XD45, and you are an expert shot. You have mere seconds before he reaches you and your family. What do you do????
Democrat answer:
Well, that’s not enough information. Does the man look poor or oppressed? Have I ever done anything to him that would cause this attack? Could we run away? What does my wife think? What about the kids? Could I possibly swing the gun like a club and knock the knife out of his hand? What does the law say? What would the ACLU say? Does the XD have appropriate safety built into it? Why am I carrying a loaded gun anyway? Is it possible he would be happy with just wounding me? Should I call 9-1-1? Why is this street so deserted? We need to raise taxes, have a paint and weed day to make this a happier, healthier street that would discourage such behavior.
Republican answer:
BANG!!
Southerner’s answer:
BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!
BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!
BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!
BANG! click…(sounds of changing magazines)
BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!
BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!
BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!
BANG! click
