It just hit me today that we have the same ol’ tagline, “in defense of the most ridiculed and unappreciated being on the planet…the white male” that we have had since the page was started 18 months ago. Does that still apply to this website? Angry White Dude was started originally to draw attention to how poorly white men are treated in society. We still touch on that topic from time to time but have become so much more. Plus, we have a lot of hot, curvy womerns who comment and greatly add to the experience.

AWD’s first wife was in the TV news bidness and once her station manager wanted employees and their families to come up with a new tag line for their news program. I guess he was too cheap to pay a marketing company and find a green lizard or something. AWD suggested these winners:

1. Channel 36 News – What do you want for nothing?
2. Channel 36 News – We’re not that bad!

Both of those suggestions would probably accurately describe AWD. Sadly, none of my suggestions was selected and they ended up going with something gay like “the News Specialists.” That being said, let’s take suggestions from everyone who wants to venture an idea. I think it helps for our growing community of dudes and dudettes to be able to make positive changes in the page. Also, it takes the load off of AWD to some extent.

So let’s hear it. Come up with something better than I did 18 months ago. I can’t wait to hear some of these already! And Olds, I’m keeping a close eye on you mister!
