NATIONAL PUBLIC RADIO AIRS PROGRAM ON DALLAS TEA PARTY

DALLAS TEA PARTY MEMBER SIGNS DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE
National Public Radio’s All Things Considered spent last week in Dallas covering the Dallas Tea Party. I know, I know, NPR is a liberal station…we all know that. All Things Considered host Robert Siegel and his producer attended Neighborhood Coordinator meetings, planning meetings and interviewed many DTP members and ran the show today.
I wanted to link the story to AWD. Our goal was to present Dallas Tea Party as we are…American patriots who are demanding fiscal responsibility from our elected officials. Take a chance to read the comments from the libtards with their predictable “teabagger,” “racist,” and “where were these people when Bush was the President?” BS. Liberals are so pathetic! What I want to know is what is so radical and wrong in demanding our federal and state governments don’t spend more money than they take in? Anyway, here’s the link. Let me know what you think.

Because I check out everything I can especially if it is mentioned on this site I had to go look. Same result. It seems that the liberal left has thrown intelligence out the window. I cannot read any more of the comments or I will go outside and kill something. Read this comment;
“I see why it may seem to be race driven, but I really believe that the underlying issue is that these folks are convinced that their way of life is being taken away from them. However, for the most part they are just regurgitating, and have little interest in listening to other opinions because they have lost the ability to consider that they might be wrong.”
This idiot needs to make up his mind, if there is one left. I get so mad listening to the liberal left and it just gets worst every day. You can tell when most liberals are lying, their lips move.
The comments are more irritating than the story.
“They’re scared of change”. Um no, change can be a good thing. But changing to all out socialism isn’t.
Looking forward to reading this all, especially the comments and what it looks like tomorrow.
By the way, for those of you in the know, if you want to put a link in to a story here do you put the #tcot before you start the post or after you have the link in, or at all?
I’m new at that, trying to learn, I’ll check back here tomorrow for any advice…thanks.
I couldn’t read more than 3 comments. What’s “meaningful” healthcare? That NPR wrote a fair enough account of the tea party shocks me.
You guys have more stomach for the vacuous knee-jerk commentary than I–I got about five comments in before I had to run for my Levatol.
But on a positive note, I’m glad to see the movement getting continued exposure in the liberal media. Despite the predictable commentary, I have faith there are libtards out there who can be awoken from their dogmatic slumber given sufficient access to patriotic Americans’ points of view. (I’m a case in point–took a while, but I got there.)
BigTimer–when I put a link in, I just type the URL in as-is (e.g., http://www.google.com ) and it seems to work fine. Maybe that’s not best-practice though…
bigtimer,
I’m going to assume you mean for Twitter. It doesn’t matter what order you put things in. As long as #tcot is on there, it will show up in the search for tcot. So an example would be:

… or…

I assume this is what you were referring too, but if not, ignore my comment : P

Rob and RedState…thank you both.
Rob,you answered what I needed to know.
Much appreciated by both, I got on that thing this morning,(last night as well) knew it was a mistake,it’s hard to get off there at times.
Will catch up with you all soon, have to get an order in before I go on and on today regarding the computer etc.
I KNOW what these liberals are going to say… same old talking points all the time. They’re not even creative enough to make up their own stuff, just repeat what’s already been provided for them. I disagree with one of the commentors above: these people are NOT redeemable. They’re suffering from an INcurrible disease and the only way to get rid of it is to kill the patient. In that regard, Obamacare might be just the ticket we need. It will kill far more than it will save.
I think the more we ignore these drones and their Alinsky tactics the better for us. Their comments make them the insignificant ones, aka People like Olberman,Cooper,Maddow and Garafolo.
I don’t get as mad anymore because I realize it’s their own lack of any honest debate that makes them resort to name calling.
As to the statement where were all these people when Bush was president,my response is where are all those people now who were slamming Bush for spending?
10x the spending they should be 10x as mad.
I rose this morning, with an old man’s daily pain
I don’t need any doctor trying to explain
That these things happen as people do grow old
Sore backs; hands, feet and fingers always cold.
Then I took a shower and stood there in the nude,
Looked in the mirror, saw an old, angry white dude
A member of a country, once greatest on earth
Wondering as I’m shaving, what is all this worth.
People living in the past, blaming dudes like me
For indignities that happened that they never did see
Tapping on the white dudes for all they can get
Whining, moaning, griping while we white dudes sweat.
White dudes worry about the future, not about the past
Our daddies long ago came here to build a country to last
We started many businesses nad created a lot of jobs
Only to get burdened by politicians, what a bunch of snobs.
They tax us and the bind us with an evil bunch of rules
That are more beneficial to another bunch of fools
The fools who question the value of others hard work
When they can collect money for duties that they shirk.
The others really like to bother and get in our hair
Pushing homosexuality and stopping us from prayer
They keep insisting each dude should be a homophile
They can’t understand, it’s just is not our style.
Our elected politicians and each and every church
Expects our contributions, but leave us in the lurch
And when, our values sullied, we try to raise our voice
They tell us we are bigots and we do not have a choice
They open up our borders, let illegals freely come
To steal our jobs and income until we are numb
And when the illegals employers we do start to probe
The MSM jumps in and calls us each a xenophobe
They post in the media that we are not the alpha male
And praise men of another color most of whom they jail
So, I keep looking in the mirror at the old man that is there
Wondering why us God-fearing dudes are treated so unfair.
The only thing I figure I can come up with, I swear
It’s the reward they give us for treating people fair
We let them air their problems and sat quietly by
And the the supposed underdogs started spitting in our eye.
Their constant complaint is laying all the blame
On all the old white dudes, that’s today’s game
Oh, they’ll tolerate us longer until they get our wealth
To pay for everybody’s insurance to cover their health
They take our jobs and money but white dudes they will shun
Until they see us each and every strapping on a gun
And the old dude in the mirror will see a tough dude looking back
Going to fight for our country and picking up the slack
I am really sorry that I must be in this mood
But I am really tired of being treated rude
They mock us in the papers, they say that we are crude
They won’t know how to handle the new Angry White Dude.
Lisa…look at where all the people are now regarding Bush vs ‘O’.

Pretty rich eh?
Misterbill,
You are a constant source of amazement to me. I looked up Patriot in the Webster and it said: see misterbill.
I salute you, sir.
This has nothing to do with this post but it has me so pi**ed off I can’t stand it. The city of Berkley has sent clothes hangers to all the Democrats who voted to exclude federal funding for abortions in the health car debacle bill.
http://www.weaselzippers.net/blog/2009/12/berkeley-city-council-sends-coat-hangers-to-members-of-congress-to-protest-obamacares-abortion-restr.html
misterb….
You said it ALL Angry Dude!
I more than thank you…so glad we’ve met…you are appreciated more than you know kind sir.
“I don’t want my granddaughter to go through what my grandmothers had to. I don’t want it compromised. I don’t think the health care bill is reform if it excludes access to women’s reproductive health care.”
God forgive me , I want my four grand daughters to be women of virtue as my daughters are.
This angry white dude suggests that perhaps the woman who was interviewed had a grandmother who was promiscuous or did not understand contraception. Perhaps this lady does not have a daughter because she had abortions.
I am no prude and I understand the heat and fire of hormonal drives as well as any man or woman. I also understand common sense.
The issue of abortion will never be resolved. The nature of man will never change. There are many who do not hold the sanctity of human life as high as others. There are those who, somehow, can close their minds to actual facts and live comfortably with the consequences.
The issue of the coat hangers was well publicized back in the 50s and 60s. Life magazine for those who may remember did a study on it and its consequences.
No matter how you look at it, it will never be resolved in the minds of men in a common belief.
I have, in contradiction to my church’s teaching, accepted contraception as a fact of life and a far more preferable solution to unwanted pregnancies. I cannot accept the use of murder to accomplish the same. And yes, there are those who choose to argue at which point life exists. It doesn’t work for me.
Abortion is a firebrand issue and as much as I am opposed to it, I do not see it as the key issue in a political election and restoration of our constitution. It could be the issue that keeps us from restoring our country to greatness.
Economic issues, job issues, cap and trade, Obama Care, Afghanistan and similar issues all need to be resolved , in my opinion, so that a strong and renewed America can resolve the abortion, as well as it can be, in the future.
Clinical versus coat hanger abortions versus limited abortions will be a moot point in an economically destroyed society.
I understand your point misterb…and in the long run of it all, I know it may not matter, but for me it does, it also has a huge impact on the way I vote…always will as long as I walk this earth.
I read that too BT. Very rich indeed. I think from now on when I comment I will tag it with “I miss Bush”
MB always a pleasure to read your wisdom.
Lisa…in a way Bush has to be sitting back and laughing his arse off if you know what I mean.
Nothing like time to heal all wounds.
BT
I know. And I know you are aware of my feelings which are quite similar to yours. It is hard to ignore and the picture that Dave posted on another site still lives in my mind. As long as I breathe, I will remember it. May God have mercy on those poor innocents.
I still hang on to the fact that if we have abortion as our primary focus, we will lose to those who favor abortions at will.
We must regain power to change the things we do not like. My rep is a doctor. Ron Paul is a doctor. There are a large number of doctors in state and Federal government who still believe, “First, do no harm”.
These are the kind of women and men we must put in office to make America the country it was.
I do not dismiss the sin, the crime, of abortion. I believe we all will stand before God one day and answer to him for our actions on earth.
Geez–
You have to excuse me. I have to visit the vomitorium. I just read some of Senator Leahy’s comments about checkpoints on another site:
“The comments came as the committee chairman Sen. Patrick Leahy, D-Vt., questioned the checkpoints. He said he was stopped and grilled at length about his citizenship status by a border agent at an interior checkpoint in Vermont years ago, even after showing his Senate ID.
“I’ve always been concerned with these kinds of checkpoints,” he (Leahy) said. “If (immigrants) really want to get across, they’re not going to use the interstate.”
So–let;s remove another method of checking for illegals.
We must clean house–starting with the White House.
misterb….when it comes to Leahy…I always have the words of wisdom that Cheney told him.
‘Eff Off!’
I am very worried about what may happen with the McC/Kennedy bill, whatever name they paste on it, last name for the Bill was ‘The Dream Act’ which Reid put aside, it still can be brought up again, with more amendments like Leaky Leahy wants.
Misterbill, you are a very wise man and thanks for your thoughtful comments,….and I agree with you.
I’m not a “spring chicken” either and in all my life I have not witnessed anything as alarming as what is happening to our beloved country today!
The planned downfall of America started with the begining of progressivism/communism in the early “20th century”,….and has progressively gotten worse,…iow, “death by a thousand cuts”.
Today, we have woken up to a nation that is damn near to a Marxist dictatorship.
If we cannot turn this evil around within the next year,{ballots}, then IMO, we are headed for an armed revolution.
Another Concord/Lexington.
G*d help America.
Misterbill,
Regarding the abortion issue, your observations & concerns mirror mine to the letter. One further consideration: Since the inception of Roe v. Wade, an entire generation of taxpayers has been summarily killed off because they were “inconvenient” ; and yet our slimy pols pi$$ & moan about where additional revenue can be sourced…amazing & disgusting, isnt it ?
God bless America and all her patriots !
