HOUSTON ELECTS FIRST LEBANESE MAYOR
HOUSTON MAYOR ANNISE PARKER - YEP, HAS THE WOMEN'S BASKETBALL COACH HAIRCUT GOING
Houston is not homophobic. It is racist. Yesterday, Houston voters elected the openly homosexual Annise Parker over black former city attorney Gene Locke. I guess Houston voters have had enough hopenchange with Hussein in Washington and didn’t want to bring it closer to home. Parker is the Houston City Controller and the first lebanese to become mayor. Downplaying her homosexuality after the election, Parker said:
“This election has changed the world for the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered community. Just as it is about transforming the lives of all Houstonians for the better, and that’s what my administration will be about.”
Free flannel shirts for everybody! There were many reports of Parker supporters celebrating the victory and working themselves into a little ole tizzy on Montrose Street. When asked why he voted for the openly gay Parker, Houston hairdresser Lance Johnson said it was mostly because of of Parker’s “fabulousness.”
Here’s the lesson learned through this election…..only 152,000 in a city of 2.2 million voted! Of course, probably 50% of the 2.2 million in Houston are illegal aliens. However, this is a great lesson for conservatives as we prepare for the upcoming primary and general elections in 2010. A tiny percentage of registered voters participates in the primaries. This is a tremendous mistake. Primaries are when incumbents are the most vulnerable. In Houston, only 11,000 votes put Parker won the election.
Everyone must become active in the political process. The easiest way to return this country to fiscal responsibility is to elect fiscally responsible politicians. No secession, no revolution, no third parties…just elect candidates who will honor the Constitution and quit taxing and spending us into oblivion.
As for Houston’s mayor, I don’t care one little bit about her personal life. Houston is a disaster zone with rampant crime from illegal aliens and blacks. I think the life expectancy for policemen in Houston is about the same as a fruit fly. Parker is reportedly a conservative. We’ll see. Hopefully, she can make some positive change for the taxpayers in Houston….no matter who she sleeps with.

Although the Lebanese part of your dialog threw me for a minute, lol, I hope the conservative part of her is the dominate force and I hope the best for the Houstonians. The small turnout really makes me wonder if Americans are slipping into a coma. We need patriots to maintain their attention to the only acceptable solution. That is everybody needs to vote or we lose this country, if its not too late.
I am terribly disappointed in Houston… They have given voter apathy a new face…
A 5% turnout? Houston, and every SOB that didn’t vote, should hang their heads in shame, and NEVER bitch about ANYTHING this *carpet muncher* does while in office…
Sadly, since I can remember people don’t get off their butts to vote the majority of the time, then they sit on those same butts and gripe their butts off.

BT, On each election day, my female and I take the day off and we spend the day driving shut-ins and people who have no way to go, to the polls. If I hear one person b*tch*n’ about a particular issue and they say well I didn’t or don’t vote, I proceed to issue a verbal beatdown.
I consider myself a Houstonian although I live in a close suburb. I obviously was not given an opportunity to vote, but tried to rally the evangelical crowd to do so. I’m stunned that Christians and rednecks weren’t able to do enough to stop this. What the hell is next? Openly proud pedophiles winning political office?

You might be able to make this up. But it would require a pretty disturbed mind. Where to begin. Initially being investigated for disabling the fire alarm systems in his hotel room, due to shower steam, he claimed, it was discovered he had replaced the hotel room door with a piece of plywood. The plywood contained a circular padded hole believed to be used for sexual acts. See gloryhole. Yes, it was facing the hotel hallway. It would seem he was interested in inspecting more than firearms. h/t BJ in email. And, no, I’m not making that up, either.
He serves as the director of industry operations for ATF’s Houston field office. The industry operations division is the regulatory arm of the agency, responsible for overseeing the inspection of all federal gun and explosives licensees, said ATF spokesman Drew Wade. He confirmed that Vanderwerf was in the New Orleans area on official business.
“We are aware of the arrest by the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office,” said Wade, who added that he could not discuss anything that could be connected to a continuing investigation.
But the staffers and a deputy sheriff also discovered that someone had removed the bedroom door from its hinges and replaced it with a 5-by-4-foot piece of plywood affixed to the frame and the drywall with hinges and screws, the arrest report said. The door had two locks attached from the bedroom side and a circular hole padded with duct tape. The deputy noted in the arrest report that the hole appeared to be used “in some sort of sexual act.”
I’m with you, AWD. I could give a flying finger of fate what she does at home in her bedroom as long as she isn’t flaunting same and pushing a radical homosexual agenda on the Houston public via her elected office.
In my rather limited experience, not all lebanese are radical leftists, so I say we give her a chance. At least she doesn’t speak with one of those grating sissy-lisps characteristic of Bwaney Fwank.

From the looks of Ms. Parker, it doesn’t look like she does too much carpet munching. On the other hand, maybe now that the Rev. Tiger Woods is taking a break from the PGA, he might decide to restore his tarnished image with his sponsors and agree to the mayor’s parents’ pleas to come to Houston in order to “convert” the mayor:

I really think that you’re jumping to unfair conclusions. It came out in evidence that due to the copious amounts of Vasoline that were found around the hole, VanderDork had NOT put his mouth up against the hole in the wood.

I should be an honorary Houstonian – I worked at the airport there five different times in the 1980s, also was in the Air Force for four months in Texas years back. I avoided the downtown Houston traffic – very bad place to drive. It is a very liberal city in a rather conservative area. Working there was great – very nice people in Texas and warm winters, usually with no state income tax. … MM
