All that stuff about fighting tooth and nail and fighting to the finish line…well, you can all just forget about that. Mitch McConnell has showed his wussypants lack of guts by agreeing to move the vote up on ObamaCare 11 hours. Mitchie wanted to get home for Cwistmas, you see. Heaven forbid the Republicans actually stand up for what is right for once in their worthless lives! And the Republicans wonder why they rank just below typhoid fever in popularity with Americans!
Everyone knows ObamaCare will pass the Senate. Douche bag Harry Reid has already bought off the DemonRatic Senators devious enough to hold out for a big payoff. But Republicans are showing their true nature by agreeing with the enemy to skip out of town. If they were true leaders with principles, they would torture the DemonRats by making them pay by any means available for the obscene ObamaCare disaster bill by making them spend Christmas in Washington. If Harry Reid had to sneak around when he thought Americans weren’t watching to get this thing passed, the Republicans owe it to their constituents to make every inch of the journey as difficult as possible. Once again, I am totally disgusted by the wussypants Republicans. As I have said many times, I despise liberals but I really, really hate RINOs. Mitch McConnell is at the top of the list!

As to Mitchie I cannot call him a RINO, he is a real conservative voting wise, he just has no fire in his belly~it’s truly maddening, the speeches/pressers he gives over the years are BORING..milquetoast type..I want a leader with conviction, like Don Nickles had, I loved the man, he was supposed to be next in line after Lott if memory serves me, but he non-wisdom of the Senate went for Frist, a lot to do with the big-wig nit-wits behind the scenes ..I think that is a good part of the reason we lost Nickles…one of the best IMHO.
Now on to Steele, anybody see/hear about this today? Talk about an outrage..what does everyone else think?

Yeah not so sure McConnell is a RINO, but I definitely wouldn’t mind the Republicans being more a pain in the ass right now. If this were in reverse, the DemonRats would be digging a moat around the Capitol right now.

I agree with the person who wrote the piece, it’s not long whatsoever, click the link I had at the top for more info…I’m all for making $$$…but doing this is maddening to me…then again, I supported Steele regarding his race in Ma., but to me, he is in many ways a RINO to me…I’ve listened to him for a few years before he ran for his position in the RNC…and steam would come out…problems is, I can’t recall at the top of my head what all the topics were, but they weren’t to my conservative liking one bit.

I keep getting an ad at the top that mentions Andy McKenna, which is a Republican running in the primaries for the Illinois gubernatorial race. Too bad it wasn’t Adam Andrzejewski. I’m liking that guy. Businessman that retired from his own business when he was… 37 years-old, I believe? He’s following the same kind of idea of some Governor down south (can’t remember his name, d’oh!), and wanting to put “every dime, online, in real time.” It’s a message he is spreading, and I think it would be great for transparency in our state, especially with the Culture of Corruption (thanks Mrs. Malkin!) in Illinois. I just worry about how many folks have heard of him around here. He has a good online presence, but I’m not sure about him being known-by-name around these parts.

On Christmas Day 1776 the troops assembled at the ferry landing and were given the password for the day, “Victory or Death”. All of the men were gathered at the point of embarkment by 3:00 p.m. and the loading of the boats began at nightfall. Washington and a party of Virginia troops crossed the Delaware River first to secure a landing site. The original plan called for the entire army to be disembarked on the New Jersey side of the Delaware by midnight, but it was not until 3:00 a.m. on December 26 that the army completed the crossing and it took another hour to get the troops organized for an attack. A hail and sleet storm had broken out early in the crossing, winds were strong and the river was full of ice floes. The treacherous weather conditions stopped General Ewing from even attempting his crossing. Colonel Cadwalader crossed a significant portion of his men to New Jersey, but when he found that he could not get his artillery across the river he recalled his men from New Jersey. When he received word about Washington’s victory, he crossed his men over again but retreated when he found out that Washington had not stayed in New Jersey.
As soon as the army was ready, Washington ordered it split into two columns, one under the command of himself and General Greene, the second under General Sullivan. The Sullivan column would take River Road from Bear Tavern to Trenton while Washington’s column would follow Pennington Road, a parallel route that lay a few miles inland from the river. Only three Americans were killed and six wounded, while 22 Hessians were killed with 98 wounded. The Americans were able to capture 1,000 prisoners and seize muskets, powder, and artillery.”
