California Governor Ahnold Schwarzenneger recently announced he is asking the federal government for $8 billion of American tax payer money to help bail out California after decades of liberal stupidity. Schwarzenegger should have stuck to acting in movies because his acting as Governor stinks!
I’ll be blunt. I don’t like California. Never have. Every time I’ve been there I was counting the minutes to leave. It looks like it’s perpetually stuck in the 70′s. Everything looks old and dated. I finally realized that’s because California’s best days were in the 70′s and has been headed downhill ever since! After years of liberal lunacy, armies of unionized state employees with huge pensions, lawyers behind every illegal alien and no forethought how to provide energy, now California wants us to help bail them out. I say let them eat fruits and nuts!
The problem with liberals is they never believe the big-spending ride comes to an end. Look at Detroilet, which is a ghost town of productive people and filled with dependent slugs! New York also finds itself with huge deficits and is having to cut programs. No doubt they will also go hat in hand to Obama for bailouts. Liberals spend and spend and borrow and borrow until they cannot borrow one cent more. Giving California $8 billion would be like throwing $8 billion into the Pacific Ocean. California wants the money to keep living life as usual, not to change to fiscally sound policies.
Schwarzenneger, who is a fool, recently gave Hussein Hopenchange an A rating for his performance as President. Now we know why! California spends an estimated $10 to $20 billion feeding, educating, medicating and incarcerating the millions of illegal aliens that have invaded. Schwarzenneger has welcomed the uneducated foreign hordes to his state. Let him live with the responsibility of his decisions!

Please don’t paint all Californians with such a broad brush! I am as conservative as they come, along with other natives I know. We noticed the trend towards rabid liberalism – Berkeley has always been comprised of the unwashed – in the late 60s when all the @#$%^& east coasters invaded our beloved state. Sadly, we are going to move out when we can. I hate moving – I am removed from the cesspool of liberalism as I live in the mountains – but I’ll be damned if we’ll pay more and more taxes to support the illegals, welfare bums and the liberal agenda our state is hellbent on supporting.

My condolences to you and your state. My better half is from Southern Cali and she also is as conservative as this Georgia born Florida resident. I have to rebuke the myth that liberalism infected your state from the east. California was a hotbed of liberalism long before the freaks from the North-eastern states decided to move there to be able to live out their libtard fantasies. Although there was an influx of idiots to Cali from different parts of the US, they were all headed there due to the reputation that Cali, SF in particular, has established. That said, I am glad that you have not partaken of the liberal Kool-aid and I wish you the best.

Also, Californians are not well-liked anywhere they have moved…ask Arizona, Nevada, Utah, etc. They bring their wacky votes and destroy the political balance. My biggest fear is as the leftard states devolve into anarchy, all the libtards escaping will move to Texas. We should institute a litmus test before letting any refugee from NY, Michigan, Ohio, California, etc. into the Lone Star State.

I think that you have almost pinpointed one of the largest problems in the Cali attitude.
From what I have experienced from my visits, if you have an opposing (pronounced conservative) view and you express it loudly as I have done while there, be prepared to fight, verbally and physically.

I don’t a lot about guns. I just know my Beretta sports 9mm for some reason uses .380 bullets. I also know that at 15 feet every shot, though a paper target would have disabled a bad guy. I just read on the AP today that a couple of UCSD “lecturers” (what is that? They don’t have a teaching degree so they only qualify as “lecturer?) have developed a cell phone app that will lead illegals crossing our “dangerous” and water lacking desert to water sources. When they were asked about the irony of their salaries being paid by taxpayer dollars when the majority of us don’t want the illegals – their reply was “…a resounding, in your face, so what?”. I really wish we could show them “so what” by firing their asses!! How dare they waste our money by doing this? They actually interviewed some illegal that had been saved by our border patrol twice for an opinion on this stupid story! I’m so disgusted!
