OBAMA IS NEKKID!
OK, I know I said I wasn’t going to write more today….and I’m not. I was reading some news on the internet and came across one of the best articles I’ve seen on the fake that Hussein Hopenchange is. Shelby Steele published the following article in the Wall Street Journal. I’m not big on posting other’s writings but Shelby’s writing illustrates the difference from a talented writer and a hack like AWD. I think I have made about every point in the article over the past year but not near as succinctly as Steele. I hope you’ll take time to read this one and change your plans if you plan to vote for Obama. Hope and change, get it?

HJ – let’s help him out. I have a solution to simultaneously solve the health care and airport security problems. First, install all the latest whizzbang scanners and imaging devices in all airports. Since passengers are now going to have to take off their shoes and underwear, the rest should be of little consequence. Once they are ran through the diagnostic equipment, you send them a bill for a CAT scan, MRI, PET scan, or what have you. This goes to fund their health care boondoggle. It also saves a trip to the doctor’s office which helps prevent global warming. And you bypass the evil insurance companies.
AWD and all other Patriots (HBJ, olds, snake, bigtimer, Rob, misterbill, too many more that I think will be interested) wanting to do a little reading on a very well written and researched website (with all due honor and respect to the AWD) check this site out and let me know what you think, ok

While the article was well-written, I think it goes a bit overboard. The main reason Obama won out is because no one really paid attention to politics/history. Like one guy said in the comments, he went to his site and saw he was a typical progressive. Now, I wonder how many people actually did that… checked out his website and saw what he was about. I know I didn’t, because I wasn’t big into politics, and really didn’t know much about the long battle that America has been having with socialism.
The guilters did play a role, though, no doubt.
I personally wanted to vote for Ron Paul, but now I see how he is nothing more than a “blame America” politician.

Yes, Andrew Thomas. I have always found AT to be a very informative site and there is a great mixture of politics and world events. But to me unless a site where I’m going to check regularily has some comical relief from time to time I can’t stand it, and Andrew has that. There are some articles there that have not been posted at AT.
So you can understand why I spend time here. Informative comments about relavent events with a mixture of comedy provided by the class clowns, of which I am a proud member.

This is a condemnation that I cannot stand idly by and ignore. AWD, I doubt that you have a plaque on the wall that says you are qualified to write “pretty”. I couldn’t care less than I do about that. You’re articles are written the way most of us “common” folk read. I don’t care that much for fancy prose and “intellectual” cr*p that is written only to attempt to impress me with your literary capabilities.
Your writing style suits me perfectly, as I said earlier, informative and to the point with a comical relief.

I truly believe that the votes that sent Obama over the top to win were all illegal votes from black felons, Acorn sign-ups, aliens ineligible, etc, etc democratic party voter fraud.
With the first year of the Obama presidency, being what it is,,, well, I only see a 1 term.
Now, if obama’s true place of birth is ever resolved, and this document is valid,,,,well, we will see this current presidency actually annuled.

Just did some reading at the link you posted. Good site! I liked the article about pathocracy. I did not go to the links that site pointed to as I would have wound up spending the day reading things that would educate me and depress me at the same time.
It is a New Year but I didn’t make any resolutions. I have decided that when I pass there will be few who will be there so why should I continue to try to be nice??
I will start with –for God’s sake world, I know the message is important and not the spelling or the style BUT
stop using loose(loos) for lose (looz). And in the spirit of keeping friends on this post–this is not directed at this site–it so happens that each site I have visited today has had that misspelling.So, good folks, let others know so that this old purist can feel he did some good in 2010.
Whenever a challenge arises, Barack Obama convenes a committee to study the problem. That way he can point the finger of blame at others when things go haywire. That way Obama is never wrong about anything; that way he can always claim to be the hapless victim of other peoples incompetence.
A case in point would be America’s hideously high rate of unemployment. First Barack swore that if Congress passed his stimulus package (without reading it) unemployment would never rise above 8 percent. The Democrat majority in Congress granted Barack’s Big Wish. After that, unemployment rose to 10 percent – which is 25% above what Barack assured us would never happen. Then unemployment went above 10%, and that only represented those people who were applying for unemployment benefits. That number did not include all those people who have given up looking for work and all those previously self-employed people who cannot apply for unemployment benefits.
If we include all of these desperate people, then the true rate of unemployment in America is 17.5%. If we also include all the folks who can’t find full-time employment, or are working two or more jobs for which they are wildly overqualified, then the real number of unemployed and underemployed and misemployed Americans is about 25%. This is close to Great Depression numbers. So what was Barack Obama’s response? He convened a Jobs Summit to chat about the problem.
Conspicuously absent from Obama’s conclave was anyone who had previously voiced any criticism of Barack Obama, such as the Chamber of Commerce. Nowhere to be seen were the National Federation of Independent Businesses or the National Association of Manufacturers. There was no one there to represent American small businesses – enterprises with 500 or fewer employees. That’s weird, because small businesses create seventy to eighty percent of all jobs in our country. Small businesses created 14.5 million of the 22 million jobs created between 1993 and 2008. There was absolutely no discussion of tort reform or regulatory reform or any mention of reducing burdensome taxation on employers so that they could better afford to hire more employees.

New Years Part 2
Also I have a gripe(with no none here). I was a long standing member at another site. When I became incensed at a liberal, (troll IMO), defending my arch enemy, Ted Kennedy, on his death, I tore into him. To my disappointment, I was, in turn, attacked by some supposed conservatives. I said to the lib,if he wanted to kiss Kennedy ass, there were still Kennedys around for him to do it. Another lib jumped into the fray. Then about 4 supposed conservatives jumped on me and said I was over the top. I went away, so to speak, and came back a few days later and read the posts to see how bad it was. It was not bad at all. It was essentially what I said above. I have gone back to the site a couple of times and the discourses between the conservatives and the libs are what I would describe as “hands across the aisle”, McCain style. A sort of look at me I get along with the other side. I know I am getting senile, but I am not crazy (yet). What it looks like to me is “Sleeping with the Enemy”. The arguments are that without the liberals the site would be just a bunch of folks agreeing with each other.
So, my New Years Day back to school is “Why I Like AWD”. It is short and sweet
Everything is told or posted, like it is. When we disagree with a liberal poster (Terry, e.g.), She/He is told –like it is. If someone tells such a person to wake up or otherwise, she/he does not have a host of supposed conservatives leap to his/her defense. They are allowed to fight their own fight. When they enter the ring–it is , IMO, a fair fight. You want to fight?? Here we are.
OK I got most of my hurt out of my system.
I did a dreive through on the site over the holidays and I would suggest they change their name to the JerChose show.

There was William Ayers on the evening news looking small and disheveled, out on the street and denouncing Obama’s plan to send another 30,000 more American troops to pound the ground in Afghanistan. For the frustrated William Ayers it is Vietnam all over again.
Here’s a thought: just maybe this die-hard communist’s recent public pronouncements that he was the true author of Dreams from My Father were intended as a warning to Mr. Obama that unless Obama returned to the narrow path of progressivism, Mr. Ayers would out him for the hollow-suit teleprompter-dependent performer that he is. Without ghostwriters such as William Ayers and the lavishly-paid Jon Favreau, Barack Obama would be an actor without a script. Without his hired choreographers little Barack just couldn’t tap dance.

Dix when the Weather Undergrounds’ bomb blew up prematurely in the apartment where it was being assembled. The bomb was intended to be set off at a social dance on the base.

When I was younger, they took care of things. Sometimes they screwed it up- but other times they “done good”.

Here is a short modern fable:
Today on my way to lunch I passed a homeless guy with a sign that read ‘Vote Obama, I need the money.’ I laughed.
Once in the restaurant my server wore an ‘Obama 08′ tie, again I laughed as he had given away his political preference – just imagine the coincidence.
When the bill came I decided not to tip the server and explained to him that I was exploring the Obama redistribution of wealth concept. He stood there in disbelief while I told him I was going to redistribute his tip to someone who I deemed more in need – the homeless guy outside. The server angrily stormed from my sight.
I went outside, gave the homeless guy $5 and told him to thank the server inside as I’ve decided he could use the money more. The homeless guy was grateful.
At the end of my rather unscientific redistribution experiment I realized the homeless guy was grateful for the money he did not earn, but the waiter was pretty angry that I gave away the money he did earn even though the actual recipient needed the money more.
I guess redistribution of wealth is an easier thing to swallow in concept than in practical application.
