If you need more evidence our federal government is a cluster-you-know-what run by politically correct idiots, only look to the latest job posting from the Eric Holder’s Department of Justice:
The U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division is seeking up to 10 experienced attorneys for the position of Trial Attorney in the Voting Section in Washington, D.C. The Civil Rights Division is primarily responsible for enforcing federal statutes and executive orders that prohibit, among other things, unlawful discrimination in voting, education, employment, housing, police services, public accommodations and facilities, and federally funded and conducted programs. The Voting Section enforces federal statutes designed to safeguard the right to vote. These statutes include the Voting Rights Act, as amended; the National Voter Registration Act; the Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act; and the Help America Vote Act.
The Civil Rights Division enforces federal statutes that prohibits unlawful discrimination in voting! I have to laugh! It certainly didn’t protect those white voters in Philly who were threatened by Black Panther goons! Oh, but they were black! I nearly forgot!
Is anyone surprised our country is going broke? Civil Rights division? Nothing more than politically correct garbage that metes out justice based on any color but white and any sex but male. Here’s where it gets even more ridiculous:
The Civil Rights Division encourages qualified applicants with targeted disabilities to apply. Targeted disabilities are deafness, blindness, missing extremities, partial or complete paralysis, convulsive disorder, MENTAL RETARDATION, MENTAL ILLNESS, severe distortion of limbs and/or spine.
I thought all employees of the Department of Justice were mentally ill. Can anyone think of one real world example where it would make any sense to hire a mentally ill employee for legal work? Now I realize we’re talking about lawyers here but who would think of paying a mentally ill person $155k? Could a mentally ill person even pass the bar exam? Get through law school? I realize there are millions and millions of mentally ill people already working for the federal government but doesn’t it take a little more savvy to be a lawyer? I guess not!
AWD is not kidding when I say we need new leaders to take chain saws to Washington! The money wasted is inconceivable to the average American. I once heard of a guy who said of a big spending client, “they’d pay $10,000 to watch a goat piss.” Now it can be said of our federal government, “they’d pay $155,000 to hire a mentally ill lawyer!” You just can’t make this stuff up!

I heard about this on Rush’s show last sometime week…read about it later, don’t know if I even commented here there or anywhere…seems I did…
For me this absolute insanity….but I also wrote that look at the critters in the DOJ and congress etc.
This all came about according to some of the reports I heard because Palin demanded an apology/firing regarding Rahm Emmanuel and his comments calling his own dem members ‘F@#$!ng Retarded’ about a year ago…Palin is upset about the word ‘Retarded’ because of her baby son.
Now I’ve also read/heard that some congress-critters and/or the DOJ want to outlaw the word ‘retarded’ from the Fed. Govt now…by the way, they use the word in the OCARE bill I don’t know how many times…soooo….
As far as I am concerned this whole thing is ‘RETARDED’…PC is and has gone too far….enough is enough.
Btw…I don’t think I’ve ever used the word to describe anyone on line or elsewhere in life unless they were mentally retarded and it came up in polite conversation with others regarding the person we all cared about, that type of thing…… but to outlaw this word, or charge racism by using the word negro as the previous brouhaha was about is out of this world to me.
We have major things to worry about in this country….and these two words aren’t one of them.
