SARAH PALIN WILL NOT LEAD THE TEA PARTY!
Lots of talk from the mainstream media saying Sarah Palin will be the leader of the tea party movement. After her speech in Nashville, many are also speculating Palin is setting up for a run for President. She has a lot of grassroots energy and support at this moment. However, that can easily change in one day. That day will be the day she campaigns for John McCain in Arizona. Whether loyalty or a debt of gratitude thing for McCain, Palin should stay out of that race. McCain’s opponent, J.D. Hayworth, is a strong conservative who already has the support of the tea party movement in Arizona. McCain is despised by the entire tea party movement and Palin’s support of him will cost her dearly. Perhaps more than she can imagine or recover from.
There will be no shortages of two things in 2010:
1. People coming out of the woodwork to say they started the tea party movement.
2. People coming out of the woodwork to try and lead the tea party movement.
Neither will be successful. As much as the mainstream media has wanted to tie the tea party movement to the Republican party or a single Repub, the tea party is truly a grass-roots movement that operates independently minus a few loosely based national coalitions. That is the beauty and the strength! No one person will rule and have the thousands of tea parties groups follow. This is how the tea party movement is different from Moveon.org. The tea party movement doesn’t have a George Soros pulling the strings of the movement and the Democrat party. Being independent allows the tea party movement to be free to do the right things and not be beholden to the views of some politician or money man. It is the perfect organization. It has strength in growing numbers, is becoming better organized and has the ability to turn out record numbers of voters to both the primary and general elections.
The Republican party hates the movement and wants to co-opt it. Beneath all their platitudes of conservatism, they are still big-tent RINO moderates at heart. Nothing has changed. Mitch McConnell and John Boehner helped sink the Republican party 6 years ago with massive spending under W. They will not rescue the party nor the country! AWD has said it many times….the worst thing we can do is replace big-spending Democrats with big-spending Republicans. The Republicans will try to force their RINO buddies on us because they really don’t want change. They only want power.
So don’t worry too much when you hear Sarah Palin or anyone else will be the leader of the tea party. Won’t happen. If she doesn’t get smart soon, she could find herself the target of some tea party protests! To AWD, campaigning for John McCain carries the same significance as campaigning for Nancy Pelosi.
Here’s Palin’s speech at the Tea Party convention last weekend:

Ditohead…
Here’s some sage advice…with age comes wisdom.
Bill…
You summed it up for me in a nutshell.
I detested what the msm did to her at first as well, now she uses it, with many double-standards she herself uses.
I know many don’t want to face the reality, but it is right there, smack dab in the face.
Ditoe, care to defend Palin campaigning for McCain? How does that set with you?
AWD
I agree with bigtimer. Bill summed it up for
me too. I liked her when she was nominated,
and thought she treated atrociously, but
she’s done a lot to show me that she doesn’t
deserve to be a ‘leader’ of the tea party
movement, and certainly not POTUS.
Smart? Are we seeing the same lady on TV? No, she sounds dumb every time I see her.
You want to see a smart lady politician?
Margaret Thatcher. No, Sarah is very pretty
for her age, and lots of guys fall for that,
but she is average at best. When her looks
fade, so one will be calling her smart.
And, I’m sorry to sound like an evil sexist,
but perhaps if she’d spent more time at home
raising her family, her daughter wouldn’t
have been impregnated by that cretin.
Sarah never triped my trigger as far as the looks go, I was very impressed with her at the start but if McCaine had won we would still be in bad shape, lets face it people the election of obama is one of the best things to happen to this country, we are all awake now, the TEA Party movement is takeing place we understand what we are about to loose and realize what we need to do to set things right, lets not compromise our principles for a pretty face or for kind words, times are going to get worse before they get better, do not waver or loose faith in the movement that is takeing place in America,
steve…
I’m with ya…we’ve said the same thing in our home regarding if McRINO would have been elected…I already can imagine, well, what his administration and he would have been like…the best thing that did happen was ‘O’ getting in…it has taken that stewing pot that was already simmering and pushed it to a boiling point…the sleeping giant is awakening in full force…the boiling point hasn’t even reached boil over stage yet….going to be interesting…
God works in mysterious ways…he always has when it comes to this country, from the beginning of this Nation…I am glad to be alive during this time…I knew it was coming…just didn’t know when…
I thank the msm/leftist congress-critters/RINOs and first and foremost~ Walks on Water himself…O/Soros is a God-Send.
I don’t know if many recall me posting about the unions and The Tea Party is Over BS…well, well, well, look what we have here…this gets deeper and deeper…big-time.
The unions are and always have been what I also term as the enemy withing~they are commies….always will be…when I say ‘they’ I am talking about the big-wig bastards behind the scenes…most of us at one time or another have had to join or belong to a union etc etc…anyway, please take the time to read this…it’s mighty eye-opening.

It won’t hurt her one bit. I do not like McCain or any other RINO. Sarah is not an ingrate. McCain desreves her support this one time. Loyalty is sometimes a lonely and ungiving character trait. I like everything about her. To each his/her own. We shall see come November 2010.
Did anybody here on AWD happen to hear a segment on Imus this morning, where he and bald-headed Bernard were slamming J.D. Hayworth…seems they are still in bed with McRINO.
I was flicking it around, just caught a bit of it..but enough to have me steaming.
Guess you know where my middle finger went at the TV.
Ididn’t see it but Imus is a “nappy headed ho” hisself,….can’t stand the “drug store cowboy” wannabe pos!
tazz…
I can’t either…kind of liked his show years ago when he first started out on msnbc with it live…went to hell in a hand-basket a few years later.
I flip it around to various networks when he, F&F, Morning Joe, C-SPAN/Wa. Journal comes on.
Arpio blasts McRino…endorses JD Hayworth…

I have always admired Sheriff Joe…we all know the majority of the leftist msm despise him, along with every single dem congress-critter…in all areas, including Napalitano (sp).
tazz…
I found the segment…such as it is.

Now when I listen to it at the end of the day, compared to before I had my coffee this morning…I just consider the source.
BT, yep, sickening ain’t it?
Imus IS an arrogant old POS, I doubt if many pay any attention to that wind bag.
@bigtimer – “I don’t know if many recall me posting about the unions and The Tea Party is Over BS…”
I think this is a good example of how much better and quicker this medium is than almost any other media. I heard Hannity talk about this one the radio today, and my first thought was about how bigtimer scooped this story by three or four days. Bigtimer, I don’t know where you got it, but that backs it up another three or four days. So that means the web had it going for over a week before Hannity got it on the air. As I said about that site then, if we were not makeing an impact (read that as making some people shake in their boots) that web site wouldn’t exist. Confirmation of effectiveness.
Thanks for picking it up, bigtimer.
bigred…
Exactly right…the internet is instant, sometimes it is amusing when something we may have all found, posted, commented on, spread around to other sites etc…get to the TV screens a few days to a week later, by then it’s old news to us, but does warm one’s heart to see it get on the screen.
It does bother me what the msm doesn’t report instead of their trivial stuff repeatedly, issues that should be of utmost importance…sometimes you hear the talking heads say, oh, it’s all so complicated…
I say BS…you are too lazy to uncomplicate it for yourselves, or you have an agenda that doesn’t want to report the issue….either way, we will just move on forward without them via the internet…what’s funny to me is they still don’t get it…from the TP Movement onward, the internet is the best source for information to get it all together and moving, strengthening, and sharing info with each other.
Regarding Sheriff Joe that I had talked about yesterday above here, here is some of the latest info regarding the on-going fight he has going on with Hatchet-Job Janet & DHS…

I’m tickled he’s supporting Hayworth, and double proud of him for fighting the right fight against this administration, no matter how much they try to tie his hands…he finds a way….thank God for people like him…I have nothing but admiration and pride when it comes to Arpio.
Joe the Plumber speaks his mind…loud and clear.
http://scottdetrow.wordpress.com/2010/02/13/a-few-minutes-with-joe-the-plumber/
I loved it.
I don’t know anything about the man he’s supporting, but I do agree with the message he sent.
