NO CLASS OR RESPECT!
I don’t know why this photo bothers me as much as it does..but it does! The desk in the Oval Office was a gift to President Hayes from Queen Victoria in 1880. I guess when one takes Hussein’s full record into account, the photo shows how he feels about America. He has no respect for American or its people…at least the productive ones. In his world, America is a bad thing and must be completely altered to atone for its sins. Obama’s upbringing and friends in adulthood are a mixed bag of wacko terrorists, communists and racists. Why should we expect anything more of him? He insults every patriot who believes America is the best country on Earth. He insults me!
Open post time to sound off on what’s on your mind. I know I’m getting real tired of the MSM saying Sarah Palin is the unofficial leader of the tea party! Gee, she gets $100k and also is named the leader of the movement? I don’t think so and will work hard to make her life miserable. Especially with her campaigning for John McCain! All right, I’ve complained enough….your turn!

What an asshole! I recall reading something quite awhile back about Ronald Reagan and how he wouldn’t enter the Oval office without a jacket on because he felt anything less to be inapropriate. I don’t know if thats true (I sure as hell believe it) but I’m pretty sure he would have NEVER propped his feet up on that desk like the manager of the local Quicky Lube might do!

@Greg – I wonder if Lee would work out a per-book discount so we could send a copy to every person in congress. It would give them something to read while they sit at home next year. Maybe it would help them understand, but I seriously doubt it. I think most, if not all, of them are too far gone into DC-fantasy-island-land to understand such common sense kind of talk.

Reagan, Ford and Bush all put their feet up on their desk in the oval office so I guess they don’t have any class or respect either. Seems to me the worst hypocrites in this country tend to be Republicans or those on the right.
Bill, I believe it’s a sign of disrespect to put one’s feet on the desk in the White House. However, I wouldn’t base one’s class or respect on that faux pas alone. I believe Obama’s feet on the desk is metaphorical on what he thinks of America. He is the “domestic enemy” our Founding Fathers warned us of.

Bill I think your “seemer” might be broken or screwed on too tight.
One of the biggest most asinine hypocracies is from the left. They want everybody to have everything they want including the right to say whatever you want and whenever the conservatives start bringing up the issue that Obamination is instituting socialist principles in our country, the liberal left freaks out and calls us terrorist, and thens says you can’t call actual terrorists, terrorists. Thats just one example.

@Bill – If you would bother to look back through the posts, you would see that I twice posted links to a picture of Bush 43 with his feet on the desk in a pose remarkably similar to Obama. See, we here are not afraid of the truth. Hypocrites are people who say they believe in free speech and then try to shout down anyone with whom they disagree. Hypocrites are people who have incredible wealth, share very little, then pass legislation to take more and more of my earnings for “social programs.” Hypocrites are people who tell me I MUST or MUST NOT do some things (limited options on retirement accounts, can’t buy health insurance across state lines, can’t have health insurance tax credits, can’t have school vouchers, can’t have prayer opening any civic meeting) while they have the money to do or (the ones who can) EXEMPT THEMSELVES FROM any of these things. A hypocrite is someone who rails against fat-cat, robber-baron, evil, capitalists who get multi-million dollar bonuses; and then less than a week later, when talking about a friend’s bonus, extol the virtues of the American way and the capitalist system. Hypocrites are people who call themselves news reporters and never call any of these people on any of these things. Bill, if you’re even still around to read any of this, notice I said nothing about Dem or Rep; because to us (me, anyway) it doesn’t matter. W’s feet on the desk is just as bad as Obama’s feet on the desk. That’s why I posted the links. Boy, I sure took a long way around the barn to say that.
